IMPORTANT UPDATE

Soooo...while I’ve noticed this for awhile, the majority of artwork I’ve pretty much uploaded this year has been Hazbin/Helluva. With that in mind, I’m going to instead be uploading my art via @emilywilsonartz, which is actually my main blog, which has unfortunately been under-utlized. If you wanna follow me there to check out ALL my artwork, awesome!

But if you ONLY want to see Hazbin/Helluva fanart, then you can still follow this account, because I’ll use this secondary blog to reshare! I’ll also still be doing things like updating the music playlist page and answer some questions.

I’m bringing this up now because while I’m trying to export my next finished artwork, I wanted to write this post while my programs are doing their job. And this new artwork will be uploaded onto my PRIMARY blog, not the secondary one. (This next piece is a Fizz x Ethyl one!!!)

Hellaverse OC x Canon Week 2022 - Date Night

Sorry I haven’t been uploading very much this month, but I’ve been busy working privately on a project. But I decided to take a semi-break last week because I learned at the last minute about another Twitter event that I didn’t prepare in advance for.  I only had time for one entry, so I choice date night to make more Fizzarolli x Ethylynn!  I really wanted to make Halloween-themed art of my OC x Canon ship, so this actually fit right in!  I inspired by love boat rides, but with a Halloween twist.

Fizzarolli Week - Relationships/AU

Fizzarolli and Ethylynn on a beach date in the Gluttony Ring! Finally, after a few months of holding off a WIP I had since late-June, I found some motivation to finish color-rendering! Unfortunately, it looks like I might be able to catch up to do all the prompts like I thought I was (especially while I’m currently dealing with Hurricane Ian), but I’m really happy that I finally put out another FizzaLynn ship piece out there. I’m also really happy to see that I’m getting a lot better with using the colored pencil tools on ClipStudio.

Fizzarolli Week - Fame

Back with another fan week submission!!! But oh man, this took me longer than expected. Even though it was easier to color than the last one, I still wound up taking awhile on this piece just to make sure the lighting was all good. I’ve actually wanted to make something like this to celebrate Helluva Boss’s S2 premiere, but I didn’t have the time back then.

Then the prompts for Fizzarolli Week were announced and I was motivated to make this. I also motivated to make this because I’m desperately needing to hang some personal art on the blank wall space in my art room. Some of the artwork will in fact be from Fizzarolli Week.

So here’s something I haven’t done in awhile! After Mo had released the color palette and BG for other people to draw their own pinups, I REALLY wanted to make me own with Fizzarolli! Something that I’ve really wanted to do after making the V-Day pinup back in February of this year! To go with the nighttime theme, I gave him a nightcap version of his jester hat.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BRANDON ROGERS, THE VOICE OF BLITZO AND WRITER ON HELLUVA BOSS!!!   Before I started, I actually panicked the night before, because even though I knew Brandon’s birthday was this month, I had forgotten the tiny detail that it was on August 3rd! Luckily, I already had an idea on how to draw the birthday cake! Since Blitz in the show is a huge horse lover, I wanted to his birthday cake to be like one of those My Little Pony cakes, but with a deadly twist.

This is also my last birthday illustration for this month! I had so many birthday pieces in July!   Next week, I only have one…UNLESSSSSS, once after the new season 2 VAs are introduced, then I MIGHT have a chance to do birthday fanart featuring the newest characters from season 2. But we’ll see!

Okay, now with that out of the way…

Exporting took a long, LONG time, but I finally get to upload this!! Come to think of it too, even though I’ve submitted art of this ship before, this is my very first real serious attempt at attempting a serious full-rendered digital painting piece of the two. I’ve ept neglecting on making fully-rendered serious artork of Fizz x Ethyl for a long time, because…well, it wasn’t as high of a priority as the other fanart that I wanted to make. But recently, I wanted to change that. I was torn on whether to do a beach illustration (which WILL be coming by the way) or a drawing for International Kissing Day, but I ultimately chose the latter, because it was time-sensitive. It was also another chance for me to work on improving my digital painting. I also wound up doing the Kissing Day piece now because I was gained a ton of inspiration after watching the fireworks from my house a few days ago.

Wally's cake I had decided not to try anything too complicated. Since he's a lesser character in Helluva, I decided to just keep it simple by basing his cake off of his torch wagon from Episode 2.
