hi kelly! i think the offseason is getting to me because i vividly imagine this specific clip but i can’t find it anywhere on any of the hockey archive blogs. could’ve been a reposted clip from twitter, but i don’t have twitter.

the clip was of an absolutely beautiful backhand stretch pass across the ice by smith through like three opposing players to graf for a breakaway (they didn’t score, but it was a beautiful pass. and some broadcasters glaze). i think the game was in march? it was definitely after olympics but def before april. i cant remember any colors besides the opponent in like white jerseys. maybe orange and blue? not sure and i dont want to mislead. i just remember it lowkey being an abysmal and dirty game so that was like my highlight of beautiful of hockey.
