Fancy Food

What do butterflies, cowboy boots & princess crowns have in common? They’re the shapes that The Fancy Lady Gourmet’s cookies come in (along with many, many others). What attracted me to the shop was the high attention to detail and clean look of the cookies. What’s kept me around (full disclosure: I’m a repeat customer) is Fancy Lady’s creativity and customer service. Check out two of the sets (the popcorn & the princess crowns) I’ve ordered below, plus another one of my favs below.

Fancy Furnishings

If you know me, you know I LOVE colorful, bright patterns. That’s why I was immediately drawn to the couches, chairs, ottomans & other furnishings in Name Design Studio’s Etsy shop. Each piece is individually crafted with a vibrant mash-up of patchwork fabric.  One of their pieces would add a fun pop to any lounge area or bedroom! With a Mexican folk art look to them, I was surprised to find out the furniture is produced in Istanbul. I’m adding these to my bucket list because with shipping, they’re a little out of my price range (starting around $1900 with shipping for a chair) at the moment.

Having Fun with FunCult

Take a look at these absolutely adorable (& funny) party banners from FunCult based out of Aurora, IL. Aside from the vibrant colors, the glitter, and the FRINGE, what I really like about the banners is that they spice up the normal take on party banners that read “Celebrate” or “Happy Birthday,” with more modern/silly phrases like “Sorry Not Sorry,” “Lovers,” “Be My Baby,” and my favorite, “Not My Pres.” There’s also an option to customize your banner, so I’m assuming the seller would work with you on any phrase you want. Such a great idea for party decor or for an entertaining gift!

Pick Your Peet

I was perusing Etsy yesterday for some colorful, not too heavy earrings for the summer when I came across a gem of a shop called Mica Peet, based out of the U.K. Their tropical take on earrings, necklaces & other accessories caught my eye and wouldn’t let me leave. I love the colors they use, the thickness of the material they’re printing on, and of course all the patterns they’ve chosen. The style reflects a vibe of hipster meets Lilly Pulitzer, which I just adore. Best part is – they take Etsy gift cards (which I happen to have from a recent birthday)!
