It was worth a while when our van made its way down the coast to the discreet town of Inopacan. From the guest zone ashore, settled is a docking area for boats taking tourists to the terminus, a “banka” large enough to accommodate 50 passengers is our transport vessel indulging our excitement of exploring island to another. It wasn’t long before 25 minutes, when lovely islets emerged in our wonders, the nearest one flashing a long stretch of pearl white sand against a milieu of blue sky and crystal clear seas.
Alas! It’s “Digyo” one of Cuatro Islas reverie scenic islands off the towns of Inopacan and Hindang in southwestern Leyte.
This island is the smallest of the Cuatro Islas but competes with Mahaba for the title of most beautiful amid the four.
Mahaba Island rooting its name “mahaba” is elongated in shape and is the second largest of the cluster.
Unlike Digyo, Mahaba Island is enclosed in lush flora and scarcely inhabited with only a minute settlement in the northwest.
There are beautiful white-sand beaches on the eastern and northern sides.

There are rock formations on the eastern side and a long sand-bar running parallel to the beach. And still unalterably utopia to our senses.

Moving along we got into Himokilan followed by Apid. Himokilan is essentially the nearest of the four islands to the mainland at Inopacan. It is perfect for beach bumming but also offers plenty of shade if the sun gets excessively hot. Aside from perceived several types of birds nestling in the trees just off the beach and rare elusive species, is a small village in the north-eastern part of the island. While Apid Island is the most populated of the Cuatros islas. All four possessing soothing and calming sensation best escape avenue from stress and problems.
A promising place to be. Cuatro Islas is quite unfamiliar to most travelers unlike other islands, but now that you already know then bring up the good news fetching a smile to the faces of aquatic fans of all ages. Explore more of the wondrous of earth for there are a lot of unpolished gem waiting for you to be discovered.
