ย ย ย โ scary, yes, but something can be scary and badass. โ sheโs proudly watching skye roll along until she hits a pebble, quickly bailing. alex doesnโt say anything, just moves to collect the skateboard that goes on without a passenger, bringing it back to drop gently at skyeโs feet.ย โ practice makes perfect. soon youโll be doing flips in no time at all. โ she uses her feet to kick the board back on its wheels before steadying it in one spot for skye to get on again. something as simple as this came naturally to her at this point, but she didnโt mind taking the time to help skye. after all, spending time together was easy. โ so like, did you get anything cool for valentineโs day ? iโm sure you got a hundred.ย โ
ย ย ย ย ย his hands itch to do something as his words linger between them along with something else : tension, stiffness, a different brand of guilt. his fingers pick at at a strap on his backpack for a moment, the nylon already frayed from many other worried hands, before his hands find their way to settle in his pockets. jason has come far from who he was in the wake of the accident. FOUR YEARS is a long time ( but no time at all at the same time, barely a blink and a strangled breath on some days ), enough that with some help the memory of it doesnโt weigh on him as heavily as it once did โ though it was never the memory that was heavy, but the GUILT that came along with it. but progress of talking about the ACCIDENT outside the comfortable walls of his therapists office has been shaky and slow, even now, confined to people he can easily count on one hand and certainly not strangers โ even ones with PROPHETIC DREAMS.

( perhaps this whole thing is made worse by what month it is, the tragic anniversary looming on the horizon just waiting to shroud him in darkness ). he doesnโt quite smile, but thereโs something that softens about his posture, shoulders sloping in slightly, a sign of RESIGNATION. ย ย โ itโs all right, โ ย ย he says finally, voice a little rough, followed by a soft cough into a hand. you didnโt deserve that. her words echo in his ears, the culmination of every time heโs tried to tell that to himself as well. deserve or not, the only thing he knows is that everyone he was with, everyone who died did not deserve that either. ย ย โ iโm โ iโm not really a fan of nerd ropes but THANKS. โ ย ย his gaze roams to some place over her shoulder ; thereโs nothing there but heโs keen to remove himself from this situation before seams start to CRACK. ย ย โ i should โ โ ย ย he makes a vague gesture. get going.

ย ย ย most of her time is spent avoiding these sorts of situations. sheโs not exactly the sentimental type, and the tension in the air leaves for an unbearably awkward minute that feels as though itโs lasted hours. itโs not jasonโs fault by any means. it had been her who brought up a sore subject that jason reasonably didnโt want to revisit. there was no way for her to eat her words, so she hopes instead her apology lands. it seems to to some degree, it doesnโt look angry as much as he does unsettled. when he reassures her itโs alright, she wants to say it isnโt, but the selfish part of her who wants this to be over wins out. she likes to think itโs not entirely selfish after all โโ sheโs sure jason is just as eager to escape.

ย ย ย ย โ maybe, but that doesnโt sound as fun. โ alex wasnโt a stranger to partying herself โโ she dabbled in a lot of the same, but not usually to the same degree. plus, she preferred it to be fun, and dax didnโt look like he was having a blast. he looked tired. she hums lightly as they settle into a comfortable position, unbothered by the proximity. it wasnโt unfamiliar, but it was a lot sweeter than she was used to. her eyebrows shoot up at his confession and she has to bite her tongue from responding without thinking.ย โ you do ? โ thereโs a bit of genuine surprise โโ alex feels more like a nuisance to people than an appreciated presence, especially with dax.ย โ well, thatโs nice, you know. i appreciate you, too. but i think thatโs telling me youโre a little too fucked up, my friend. โ she looks him over carefully.ย โ youโre very fucked up, so how about going to bed, huh ? mineโs very cozy and rarely used. โ

He understands the surprise in her expression, heโs just a shock but he canโt deny the fluttering in his stomach and how fast his heart is beating. Hell, he would even dare to say heโs nervous which does not happen to him often. It feels almost as if Alex had cast a spell on him and now he finds himself irrevocably in love with her. โYeah, as in a date,โ he reassures her with a smile, anxiously awaiting her response. โA TikTok? Alex, please, do you really think I need to rely on such childish antics to gain some clout? ย ย ย even if he assures her itโs not a joke, alex refuses to think itโs anything else. after all, iker very clearly had to interest in her, so why was he now suddenly asking her out on a date. the egotistical commentary did seem genuine, though, which make the whole thing even more confusing.ย โ i donโt know. to embarrass me! if so, good one! you got me. โ she brings her smoothie up to take a sip just to give her something to do with her hands, though the half-smile sheโs wearing doesnโt give away how uneasy she is.ย โ i think you like, hit your head or somethinโ iker. not to be mean or anything but i know you donโt like me so donโt do this to yourself. โ slowly she starts to back away, desperate for something to happen โโ someone to call her name or for her phone to ring.

โบ 01. whatโs your museโs favorite piece of clothing in their wardrobe?
ย ย ย outwardly, probably a silly bucket hat that she loves to sport regularly. she says itโs toย โ protect her eyes from the sunย โ ( she thinks this is funny to say considering shes an apollo kid ) but really, the most sentimental thing she wears is a necklace from her dad. itโs usually tucked away under her t-shirts, but itโs the one item that alex actually keeps track of & is paranoid of losing.ย

ย ย ย ย ย ironically she wears a lot of black, even though sheโs got a real upbeat personality. itโs a side effect of her taste in fashion. besides that, itโs a lot of grey, navy & deep red. sheโll wear anything, though !ย ย ย
โบ 03. do they prefer summer clothing or winter clothing?
ย ย ย ย ย ย this is a biased answer since alex prefers summer over winter in general, but definitely summer clothing. thereโs not too much of a difference in her wardrobe, but she loves a little cargo shorts moment ! her favourite part about cool weather though is definitely the hoodies. she adores hoodies.ย ย ย ย ย
โบ 04. how has their wardrobe evolved over the years?
ย ย ย ย ย not much. alex has had the style of a 12 year old boy for most of her life, except now itโs definitely become more stylistic and intentional than it was before, especially with the upward trend of some emo tiktok kids. now she actually has a cultivated sense of style ( somedays ) vs literally looking like a confused little butch ( still sort of is ).ย
โบ 05. do they have any style icons or anything else theyโre inspired by?
ย ย ย ย sheโs come a long way from her style icon being tony hawk. i would say now sheโs not really inspired by one person, but if she sees some cool streetwear sheโs definitely learned to pick up on the things she likes about it and emulate it in her own way!
โบ 06. do they like to accessorize? if so, what do they usually wear?
ย ย ย ย since sheโd probably lose her head if it wasnโt screwed on, sheโs not really one for accessories. she wears little trinkets her friends give her ( like skyeโs friendship bracelet ), so besides some hats and a cool belt bag, sheโs not really one for accessories especially on the day-to-day.
โบ 07. where do they usually shop? specific stores, a specific kind of store (ie. thrift store vs designer), or do they make their own?
ย ย ย ย mostly, alex shops at thrift stores or pawns her clothes off of people she knows. sheโll also shop in regular chain stores too, it sort of depends if something gets her attention or not. when she does though, itโs almost always in the โ mens โ section, since sheโs convinced the clothes are comfier and she enjoys how big they are ( big enough for this 5โฒ1 girl to swim in ).
