Despite what Hudson said, y'all continue to rpf. Fine, whatever. But this level of looking into someone's life is dangerous. And publicly posting this information where anyone can use it all in the sake of shipping is unhinged behavior.

I'm not seeing any hudcons police their 'community' at all. Since the Connor news came out, it seems they have been determined to be even more unhinged cause I've seen an explosion of similar blogs. So personally I'm gonna do my part and post any account I find and ask people to report and have it taken down.

How does it make sense for you to post someone's full name, the city they're in and even post pictures of what could be their home and endanger them like that?? Especially a woman who you don't like just because of a ship? Women have been harmed with much less information what is wrong with you people????!!

I'm sorry for the weak ass photo below. I should be asleep but I just had to show people this bullshit cause I don't think people realize how maddening it is in this fandom. I'm gonna tag both tags for visibility too.

I left this comment because this blog was defending Connor and had basically been minimizing what some of us, especially POC, have been talking about for the past day. They literally had a post up saying something like 'oh I thought it was actually something serious' or something like that. I went to look at their blog and they deleted some posts they'd made regarding this whole situation. Like????

The comment they made was basically that he's not a white supremacist and that his actions have proven that. You can see I asked for examples of those actions cause he's been offline and what did I get instead of an answer? Nothing but a deleted reply.

To be clear I have not called this white man a nazi or a white supremacist. I have called him all types of weird/ignorant for sure but not that. Yet.

My thing is HR fandom, why does this white man have y'all in such a chokehold that you are willing to bend over backwards to defend him? And when push comes to shove and someone like me asks for proof of how supposedly good he is, there's nothing to show for it. And yet you'll still insist from the rooftops that he is all kinds of good, awesome, sunshine and whatever else and not even afford half of the same defense to Hudson?

Hudson whose own digital footprint, words, work on queer shorts has proved the type of views he holds. He is everything y'all should be defending but instead you put him through hell and for what? Racism A white man who you can't even defend cause he's made himself a shell of an actor and no one actually knows what he's about so you just have to assume and transfer other people's personalities onto him??? To preserve a ship that is currently being fueled by your fantasies? Because you find the white man attractive and want to preserve that veneer??

At this point, this fandom has convinced me this man is the dumbest thing to walk the planet. Apparently he dropped out of high school and that was that. He's not curious about the art/music he interacts with, he doesn't recognize words like 'holocaust' 'abuse' and all the other very obviously weird things in this genre of music. Why are you tagging HW and your post is about fucking concois??? Why are you tagging HW when your post is your fantasies about hudcon??? Other tags exist for a reason!!!

It's no surprise that Ryan Michelle Bathe and Simu Liu came out in support of Hudson this week. I'm sure as poc's in the industry, they immediately clocked the pattern and knew this for what it was: a racist smear campaign.

Like I've always said, Hudson has the backing of his poc fanbase and poc actors in the industry. He'll be okay. More than okay.

If nothing else, this article has proved how important it was for HR cast/crew/crave whoever to speak up for Hudson since the start.

Look at the top 3 points at the top of the article, look at the literal first sentence of the article. WORDS HIGHLIGHTING SIMU LIU'S SUPPORT FOR HUDSON. Right off the bat setting the tone for whatever's going on.

Now listen, I think it's pretty evident this article might be from Hudson's team or encouraged by them (heavy on the maybe), but do you guys think it would have been well received if someone in the industry hadn't dared to publicly take a stance and speak for him? Do you think it would have been taken as seriously if only the fans were the ones trying to speak for him?

Everyone knows there's a legitimacy provided when someone in the industry speaks on your behalf. Heck Jacob's own response to questions about their sexuality is highlighted in the article showing how important it is to have someone speak up in these circumstances.

Fans have been talking about this smear campaign for months and not being taken seriously and guess what the article suggests? That a fucking months long smear campaign has been going on. It took Simu stating his own experience publicly for people to even entertain the conversation seriously outside of fandom spaces like???

I know i'm attributing a lot to Simu Liu's statement but you cannot deny how decisive it was and how it legitimized the conversations we've been having.

This is the last of this situation i'm going to talk about unless it's to cuss someone out but it should never have come to this. No one will ever convince me that if someone from HR had made as decisive a statement as Simu's that this would still have gotten this far.

If you come in here trying to defend the rest of the cast but especially Jacob/Brendan/Crave execs for their mishandling don't do it. I am in the mood to fight.

Hudson solos and the aftermath

I feel so many people have already said what needs to be said. And in the aftermath of this, so many people are ten toes down for H only and it seems like it's bothering some of you?

Because why is this the time to tell people that they should be fans of both? Why is this the time to start talking about how they're best friends and soul mates?

How you don't understand how people will watch S2 if they don't like both? Actually this one is easy, in silence and not acknowledging the other one, same way he hasn't acknowledged shit this whole time (i.e since the show started). Let's all be offline. It's so fun right?🙂

Y'all are only proving the rest of us right. How does some fucked up shit like this happen, where his costar has been silent as usual, then you immediately turn around and try to center him in the conversation again like he's done anything useful for us? Hudson absolutely needs the 'solos' cause what the hell??

I don't know how old some of you are, but, the past few months in this fandom have shown that a lot of people need even the most basic of concepts explained to them so let's do it again: no one is obligated to like anyone else. This is not a family. This is not a marriage. This is not a cult. This is just a tv show.

I have never seen this demand made in any other fandom and i've certainly never seen anyone demand a POC actor be loved and supported by a white fandom so I don't know what is wrong with this fandom that people feel the need to do this. It's actually kind of wild to say this if you think about it, considering the number of C stans that have participated in the smear campaigns and racist attacks over the past few months.

It's even wilder to consider that most of H solos are POC and here y'all come demanding POC like a white actor like are y'all cool??? Y'all are no better than rpfers btw.
