The welcoming of the first Alcaraz grandchild was as grand as everyone guessed it would be. There were at least twenty family members and a dozen friends all gathered inside and outside the delivery room, all dutifully expecting their turn to meet the latest addition to the family. A beautiful and healthy Alcaraz-Carceles baby boy.
The birth had been as easy as it could've been. Luci looked radiant and tired as she held her baby to her chest and talked to those gathered around the bed. Álvaro stood by her side, chest wide with pride and an arm protectively placed along the headboard.
The Alcaraz brothers were part of the first group with baby watching privileges. Carlos had cried immediately after Luci asked him if he wanted to hold his godson, to which he replied with a very enthusiastic nod. Jannik took like a hundred photos of the moment, from all angles, like his boyfriend had taught him.
After making sure he had enough photos, Jannik went to stand next to him, marvelling down at the bundle on Carlos arms from a safe distance. He wasn't confident at all with his baby holding skills, which he was sure was about to change with his new nephew, but also because well— the sight of Carlos with a baby in his arms was doing things to him.
"He's beautiful." Jannik whispered as he leaned his head down level to Carlos's, who hadn't stopped looking at the baby.
He was pretty sure he heard multiple camera clicks as he circled Carlos's waist with an arm.
After a couple of seconds, Carlos rose his head and looked directly at Jannik.
The man closed his eyes to avoid being convinced by the ridiculous puppy eyes.
A choked laugh came out of Jannik's mouth. God, if the 9 months of Luci's pregnancy had been hard...with the baby here, it would be nearly impossible to deny him.
Still, Jannik tried to look as stern as possible. It was really hard to pretend he didn't want the same as his omega. "Amore, you know we can't. We have tennis."
Carlos frowned, full pout on. He didn't like being denied, Jannik knew that all too well.
"This is more important than tennis, Jannik."
Jannik knew that. There's nothing he wanted more than starting a family with Carlos without having to worry about their careers, of the time off Carlos would have to take to carry their baby, and then if that time off would affect his career forever and—.
"I want a baby Janni. Let's have a baby."
