I believe you are mistaken. I have not been around Charles Bass without his beautiful, wonderful wife in so long that I cannot remember the last time that it happened. I do not understand where you are getting this impression, nor what you mean by the latter part of your statement.

Charles - I realise we have not talked in a while, but I was wondering if you and Blair would like to come over to have brunch with Louis and I - to get away from the children, but also so we can catch up. It has been far too long.

Eva, long time no see. Yes, that’d be great. Although the Louis presence part doesn’t really makes me want to jump with joy to be honest with you. But I’ll talk to Blair about it. We’d love to. 

And maybe Nathaniel and Juliet, and Serena and Humphrey Girl can join us too
