im almost done reading Bram Stoker's Dracula and. i wanna draw the characters so much. Mainly cause EVERY DEPICTION OF DRACULA (and Van Helsing too) ARE SO WRONG????????????

after roughly 8000 years, i finally finished my entry into @skeletibbyart 's DTIYS of their character Adelaide \(^v^)/

i had hella fun with the lighting and her color palette EEK! i tried to give her a sort of old timey movie star energy in a way if you catch my drift? mixed of course with the vampire aesthetic. Initially i had trouble with her a bit but i actually like how it turned out in the end quite a lot !!!! hopefully i captured her likeness well enough LOL! It was fun trying to draw her in a way that still looked like her but matched my art style too!! also gave me an excuse to draw fun makeup which s always something im happy about

As an artist I gotta say I do NOT fw people who shit on beginner artists for taking commissions when their art isn't "high quality" Everyone starts somewhere. While I'm not saying I'm this A list artist by any means, I'm certainly LEAGUES above where I began. Commissions help artists learn and develop their style, and if you take an issue with a beginner taking money or anything for their artwork, either go fork up the funds to commission a different more experienced artist or just fuck off and leave the beginner be If you're a beginner artist reading this, know that I see you and appreciate you, and know that I want you to keep going. Even if you're not doing art for others and just for yourself, don't be discouraged by others ME AND MY HOMIES HATE BEGINNER ARTIST HATERS
