Starting over again. Last year I had lost about 15lbs and was feeling so good. Then my partners mom was in an accident and left paralyzed and my dad had multiple strokes. I let things get away from me and gained back 25lbs due to excess food and alcohol. My goal is to cut back on eating and especially cut back on drinking. I want to smoke less and drink more water. I want to get good sleep and wake up early to have a good start every day. I want to keep up with my hygiene and chores. I want to save money and buy myself something nice. I want to fit into my clothes well again. I would love to lose 45lbs.
I also have been so tempted by the weight loss medication fad. It's expensive and I know there are bound to be side effects and downsides. I've heard it doesn't always work for everyone, it seems like a crutch, and as soon as you go off of it the cravings and food noise comes back. So, I'm trying to see if I can stick to it this time. I got back up to a weight I promised myself I'd never see on the scale again. My clothes don't fit right and I can't afford to buy a whole new wardrobe. I also feel so disgusting and have been really hating myself. I remember last year when I had been running and was doing well, I felt so good. I want to feel good again. I want to do this the right way and not rely on medication.
