Be the end of me
I can't handle the empty drawers in my room
I wish I could talk to someone without feeling like a burden
I am so tired
One of the most heartbreaking things in life is realizing that the person you love doesn't believe you love them.
Note to myself
nothing outside is gonna hurt you
outside is good
outside is fun
people is fun
people is not gonna hurt you
people is not gonna criticize you
you're gonna have fun
you're gonna fit in
you're out with friends
friends like you
friends protect you
IS GONNA BE OKAY.
Self harm
Why do i keep doing this to myself? it's been 5 years since de first time, and I'm afraid because this last year I've been more and more constant, i hurt myself everytime i feel like I'm guilty or ashamed of something i did, hurting myself is not only cutting my skin, i bite, i hit, i burn and i chock myself.
and i don't want to die i just wish i was a better person, i wish i was someone who deserves love.
Do you ever just drop a very sad or hard to process information about your life and past traumas with someone and then be like : Lmao but i guess that's life haha do you prefer dogs or cats?
and the other person is like : wtff

I was looking at your eyes
so lost into your beauty
i never noticed you were hurting.
The fire consuming you
your eyes consuming me
and this love consuming us
You are stubborn enough
to never say it out loud
how much this love makes you burn
Honey, we were so bright
we become blind
and now we are the ashes
of something that could be love.
“Well what do your dads say when you cry?” “They say it’s okay to cry and that I shouldn’t feel bad about feeling bad.”
It'd be so sweet if we just stayed the same

Little Hozier things
I have been seeing so much Hozier love recently so I would like to share some things as observed from a concert I attended recently.
-His opening artists are often not well known and he takes them on tour with him to get them more exposure.
-Same thing with his vocalists. A couple of them were songwriters from Nashville that he praised their incredible talent on and off the stage and mentioned them by name and encouraged people to look them up.
-He's quite tall. A member of his light crew came out to help set the spotlight. She did so by holding her hands high in the air in front of his microphone, they set the lights for his face based on that.
-Aside from the power when he sings, he is very soft-spoken.
-It's more than just his lyrics, he uses such beautiful language when he speaks, calling people his indelible friend or a resplendent fellow.
-As he begins to play he hangs his head a bit. After a few chords when people recognize it and start to cheer, this bright smile lights up his face and he blushes a bit. He does this every single time.
-Yes, his hair really is that magnificent.
-He doesn't consider himself that handsome. He doesn't even consider himself the most handsome man in his band. He gives that honor to Alex Ryan and calls him "probably one of the most beautiful things to come out of Ireland".
-Instead of just honoring his band and mentioning them, he thanks his production team. More than just motioning to them as other artists often do, he mentions them by name. Every last one of them. Every person at the sound board and working the lights, even the driver of the tour bus, stating that he couldn't do this without them.
-States that the "Wasteland Baby" album is a "love song to the end of the universe".
-He finds that the fact we have no idea what happens at the end of the world "comforting", but pleads his audience to seek a solution to the environmental horrors that plague our planet so that we may leave a legacy less tattered than those who came before us
-Thanked us for being a wonderful group of kind and beautiful people and stated that there's no group he'd rather be with at the end of all things "and I mean that."
-That accent though.
-Says the song "Shrike" was inspired by a documentary he watched about the 'butcher bird'. He said he'd spare us the gory details of how it kills its prey, but that he decided to write a song about it because "why the fuck not?"
-Thanked the audience after every song and said kind things often getting flustered and stammering a bit.
-Sings passionately and uses hand gestures frequently if he's not playing guitar.
-Switches guitars often, always thanking the crew member taking it to him. Paused once to talk about how much he liked the resonation of a particular one.
-Rocks back on his heels away from the microphone during parts he isn't singing.
-Often his hand would go over his heart and a big smile would cross his face. This happened most often when he could hear us singing along.
-Did a little happy shoulder shimmy when a group of people shouted that he was beautiful.
-Encouraged the audience to be a part of certain songs. Always complimented how we sounded.
Overall Hozier is not just an incredible artist (who is infinitely better live), but is a kind, compassionate, and gentle-hearted person and that comes across so strongly in both his music and his performance.
