"Nel 1925, in una fattoria danese, Peter Bang e Svend Olufsen reinventarono la radio, sviluppando l’Eliminator, la prima radio prodotta in serie che poteva essere collegata alla parete, senza bisogno di batterie. Un secolo dopo, questo spirito imprenditoriale permeato di innovazione continua a vivere e ad alimentare tutto ciò che fanno.

La produzione aziendale è caratterizzata da un design particolare e riconoscibile nonché da un design elegantissimo. La Hyperbo 5 RG Steel 1934 Progettata da Bang & Olufsen è uno dei primi esempi di suono come oggetto di arredamento ed era sicuramente all’avanguardia per i suoi tempi. Un vero emblema di storia del design. Ispirato al movimento Bauhaus e alla sedia per scrivania di Marcel Breuer appartenente al fondatore Peter Bang. Sono stati prodotti solo pochissimi esemplari."
