Summary: Solivan Brugmansia loved art class, after all, it was how he got his pumpkin's phone number. Now⊠how will he react at their first phone call?
Warning: This was my first attempt at writing a smutty fic, yet I'm kinda proud of it? MNDI!!

The best thing that ever happened to Solivan Brugmansia was art class. In fact, he has had a love for art for as long as he could remember. Drawing and painting, creating something from scratch and molding it to his will and desire gave him a calming sensation; in those moments, he was the one in control, the pencil lead point could only go where he wanted it to.Â
So it was a no-brainer that, when the time came, heâd pursue art in any way he could. Even if it was in this god-forsaken place.
It was not⊠ideal, the way people walked all over him, pushing, prodding, hitting⊠But to be honest, he didnât really care that much. At the end of the day, he just wanted to get to art class.
Sol would always sit at the back. He liked watching the whole room, and he liked having this undisturbed spot where no one could bother him or glance at his sketchbook. It was the perfect place to watch her too. His darling.
She would always sit by the window and, when she wasnât paying attention to class, daydream about something while staring at it. Sol wanted to know every single one of her thoughts and dreams, wanted to be closer to hear her little sighs when they seemed to stir back into reality. He wanted her.
Another reason to love art class: it was how he got her number.
To be honest, he could find other ways to get it, but this way seemed more personal. She came to talk to him and ask for Solâs number to be his partner for this project. Hyugo had to hear about that moment nonstop for the rest of the day from every angle, perspective and theory. It was so hard to keep a straight, indifferent, facade, all Sol wanted to do was wrap his arms around her and never let her go.
It was a good day. A very good day. Sketches were made, they exchanged a few beautifully said words, Sol had her phone number⊠Maybe heaven was a place on earth, and it was next to her.
Even so, nothing prepared him for the call.
Sol wasnât one to have his phone unmuted, or even keep it that close to him at all times, but since the prospect of her calling him came to be, his cellphone was glued to his hand. And it proved fruitful because the name âPumpkinâ had just lightened up his dark room.
âHello-...?â The word wasnât even fully out before she started rambling.
âSol! Iâm sorry for bothering you this late! But I really needed your opinion on the project. I was thinking about the colors, right? And yes, yes, there will be a lot of black on it, clothes, hair⊠makeup? In my head you wear eyelinerâŠâÂ
Her voice was the sweetest thing Solâs ever heard. He plopped down in bed, phone by his ear, hearing about his pumpkin rambling about color theory and how the background should be.
âSorry, Iâm rambling⊠In theory I should be the one doing your portrait however I say you, but I want you to be part of it too since itâs⊠well, you.â Her voice was a little shyer now.Â
âItâs okay, pumpkin, I donât mind. Tell me what you have done already.â Sol answered with a lazy smirk she could not see.
âIn theory, you should not know what Iâm doing because I wanted it to be a surprise and-...â
âDonât worry, pumpkin. Iâm just here to help. Itâs not like I know how your drawing is right now.â
And so her ramble began once more. And Sol loved to hear her, he would hang on her every word on a normal day. But this wasnât a normal day, this was the first time she called him, the first time her voice was this close into Solâs earâŠ
Sol could imagine her in her bedroom, he knew the layout like the back of his hand already, the bed in the middle of the room, her wardrobe close to the door⊠Would she be laying on that bed right now? Sprawled on it as they talked to one another?
âAre you resting well, pumpkin? You shouldnât overdo yourself. We still have a while to finish this project.â Sol said when she took a moment to breathe.Â
Sheâd probably think he was being a good worried friend. But in truth, Sol didnât want to take chances, didnât want her to hear the sound of his zipper being undone.
âI know, I know⊠You worry too much, Sol.â She giggled and Sol almost groaned. She worried about him? Her giggle was so breathless⊠What other sounds could she make?Â
Sol lifted his hips to pull his pants down, phone in between his shoulder and ear as he did.
âYou were the one sounding worried just now, pumpkin. The day is almost over, you should do something relaxing, like watching TV, doom scrolling in bed, or something.â
âAh, Iâm in bed already. Threw myself at it after a failed sketch attempt.â
Sol bit his lower lip as his right hand palmed his front, while his left hand held the phone to his ear.
âIs that so?âÂ
Perhaps his voice was rougher now, a rumble coming from his chest as he painted the image of her, maybe in her pajamas, wearing something comfortable, the skin of her smooth legs, maybe even her clavicle showing, teasing him with the glimpses of her body, of the places he could kiss, run his tongue and mark her. But his pumpkin didnât seem to notice the change in his tone, nor how his breath hitched slightly at the images Sol was conjuring as he squeezed his member through his boxers.
âYeah⊠I admit defeat.â She chuckled. âI should probably take a shower soonâŠâ
Oh fuck.
âTiring day today?â Sol needed her to keep talking. âI donât think I saw you today.â He had. But his pumpkin didnât see him , too busy talking to her⊠friends. That loud bunch that surrounded her like leeches, sucking in all of her attention.
âYou could say thatâŠâ
And she started talking once more while Sol pulled his underwear down and silently gathered some saliva in his mouth, letting it drip down to his hand before he wrapped it around his dick. First around his tip, making his saliva mix with the precum that already formed. Maybe another person would feel pathetic for getting turned simply by hearing someone else talk, but fuck was her voice beautiful just going on about nothing.
Sol moved his hand to the base of his shaft before moving it back up, down and up, again and again in a lazy rhythm. He tried to take inconspicuous deep breaths to prevent himself from moaning his pumpkinâs lovely name, squeezing himself a bit tighter when sheâd let out an exclamation during her monologue, a small âAh!â or âOh!â that made him imagine just how loud she could moan when he sheaths himself inside her for the first time. How delightfully tight sheâd be, gripping on him like a vice, nails digging on his shoulders and backâŠ
Sol moved his hand faster, head thrown back against his pillow. Would his pumpkin pull him by his choker, demand more of his lips on her? Tug at his hair? Mark his neck as if he wasnât already hers? He let out a small groan and bit his lip, trying to remember he shouldnât be heard, that getting caught was bad. What if she never called again?
âSol?
Fuck. He wanted to hear more of his name. Wanted to see her mouth taking the shape of the letters, hear the melody of her voice calling it, moaning it, screaming itâŠ
âYes, pumpkin?â Solâs voice came out a bit breathless.
âAm I boring you? Youâve been quiet for a whileâŠâ She was so sweet, so caring⊠He wanted those lips wrapped around his cock, doe eyes watering, pupils blown as she stared up at him seeking his approval, as if the simple fact heâd be in her mouth wouldnât be fucking perfect already.
âNo, noâŠâ Sol desperately wanted to groan her name. Tell her to come over, have her bounce on him instead of shadowing such fantasy with his hand.
âYouâd never bore me, pumpkin⊠I love hearing your voice.â Very true, and at the same time not even close to it. Sol was certain that, if she said his name one more time, heâd come.
âI love talking to you tooâ He was gonna explode.
âJust⊠Give me a moment, pumpkin. I need to set some things aside, then Iâll give you my full attention again.â
Sol turned around, sitting on his knees and pulling one of his pillows, folding it in half to create a small gap where he could push into and pretend it was her. It surely would be a poor substitute to the real pumpkin, it wasnât warm or soft, it was rough and maybe could cause some skin burn or whatever. Sol didnât care right now, not when his hips rutted against the plush pillow and his phone was by his ear, his pumpkin on the other side patiently waiting for him.
âIâm back.â His hips rolled slowly into the pillow, trying to prolong this feeling for a moment longer, his right hand pressing it down tighter.
That languid pace didnât last long, not when his pumpkin was so excited to tell him more of her day, her woes, and her little joys. Sol started driving his hips into the pillow faster, harsher, worrying his lip raw to hold back his groans.Â
He leaned forward a few moments later, cheek on his pillowless mattress, his right arm caught in between his body and his bed in a sort of weird position that he didnât care about. The bed made a bit of noise at his desperate movements, chasing his high that was so close he could taste it. Sol buried his face in the mattress to let out a whine that sounded almost like his pumpkinâs name, begging her to be there with him, to let him thrust deeper and harder into her until she saw stars and thanked him for it by simply taking it and moaning. Would she let him come inside? He felt himself twitch at the thought, bullying the poor pillow to take his shape. He wouldnât last long.Â
His pumpkin was going on about something random now. Something about the arcade day Sol had planned for them, maybe this weekend?
âI canât wait! Iâm looking forward to spending the day with you, Sol.â She sounded so happy, so found⊠Voice breathy in a way that made him draw blood from his lip and even then it didnât fully mask his moan, not when he reached his peak, cumming pathetically into his pillowâs case. Â
He thrusted a few more times, trying to catch his breath, as he came back down to Earth, movements languid and now stickier than before. Sol let out a sigh as he sat back on his knees, letting go of the poor pillow, watching it unfold; his cock was now soft, but still red, not from desire, but as proof his movements may have been too rough against the cotton pillowcase that was now a shade darker in some spots.Â
Sol licked his lips in mild annoyance. Heâd have to change the pillowcase, wash it in the morning as he was starting to feel warm and slightly tired. He had come a lot. He usually did when thinking about his pumpkin, looking at the pictures he took when she was looking at something else, everyday a bit closer to her as now they were âfriendsâ. This time was different though, because this time his pumpkin had a bigger participation on it.
Sol sighed again as he sat back, looking around to find his clothes. A shower would be good⊠His pumpkin was planning on showering too, wasnât she? She said so some time ago. Come to think of it, she was silent right now.
The realization made Solâs head snap back, as if she was in his room and he could stare at her with wide, guilty eyes.
âPumpkinâŠ?â
âNext time you want to play, Sol, why not invite me over? It would be more fun for us both. Anyways, it was a pleasure talking to you.â
Summary: You sold your soul to Gwi Ma not that long ago. Now, in the afterlife, you must serve him and his new attempt on world domination as⊠Saja Boys' manager??
It is an overall easy job, if it weren't for a certain annoying demonâŠ
Warnings: Smut with a little plot. MNDI!
Words: 7.9k
A/N: I'm starting to bring my fics from AO3 to here. This is still one of my first smuts, so⊠heh⊠hope it isnât terrible. And Iâd also like to make it clear that I admire every MUA out there and any type of slander was only to create a moment between the characters and not a reflection of my true thoughts. I hope you enjoy the fic!
When you sold your soul, this was not what you imagined.
Of course you knew there would be consequences, eternal damnation, a life-time of suffering in your worst nightmares, or something. You still did it, youâd do anything to achieve your dreams. Yet you didnât expect that, in the afterlife, youâd have to be the manager for a K-Pop boy band.
âI swear on the fall of the Honmoon, if those idiots are messing around one more time , Iâll feed them to Gwi Ma myself!â You murmured in what definitely wasnât a low, quiet tone.
You were making your way down the hall in the building that only a couple days prior was empty and abandoned. That was, until Jinu convinced the ruler of the demon-kind that he needed a place to train his little horde of singers and dancers, because yes, of course they had some training in the Demon Realm, he wouldnât present Gwi Ma a half-assed plan, but he still wanted âto make sure they could stay in human form while exhausted and also understand the human world better once more as to not stick out after centuriesâ.
You called it bullshit.
Jinu always thought of himself and what would benefit him . He probably just wanted to stay away from Gwi Ma and his all consuming voice in his thoughts.
Like, get in line, bitch.
You hate me in your thoughts as well, (y/n)?
Never, my lord. Your everlasting company is always welcome wherever I go.
I hope you are not being sarcastic. Itâd be a shame to replace you now that you finally got them to listen to you.
Le gasp. Iâd never!
What is a⊠âle gaspâ?
Well, at least sometimes having the demon lord hearing every single one of your thoughts could be amusing.Â
Your frown had lessened by the time you pushed open the door to the training room, taking in the scene before you.Â
Abby was the first one you noticed. It was always like that with him, he was very secure of himself even in his human form, taking up space and almost making the room gravitate towards him and his perfect body. He was currently flexing in front of the mirror wall that should be used to make sure they were in sync during choreography. You rolled your eyes at the sight.
The next one you noticed was Mystery. He sat on one of the corners of the spacious room, by a shadow. His knees were pulled to his chest and he looked⊠well, you couldnât see where exactly he was looking at since his hair was in the way, but it was towards the opposite wall, so you guessed he was just spacing out. He was the oldest amongst all of you, his memories and personality long lost in time. Jinu was smart for choosing him, he was malleable, like a blank canvas, even if he was unpredictable at times.
Speaking of, Jinu seemed to be in a conversation with Romance close to where Mystery sat. Romance was a demon you didnât really mind being around. He could be annoying and teasing, sometimes flirty, but he was genuine and seemed to have kept some of his human personality over the centuries still.Â
Jinu, on the other hand, was a demon you did not get along with, which makes your position all the more surprising. The older demon had come to you after his performance in front of Gwi Ma, when his plan to take over the human world through music was approved to everydemonâs surprise.
âWhat?!â Was your initial reaction when he came to you.
âYou are going to be our manager.â The older demon had said in a tranquil voice, as if you didnât have an option, as if youâd agree that easily. It made you huff in annoyance.
âAnd if I say no?â
âGwi Ma already agreed youâd be the most suitable for the job. Are you going to tell him no?â
Son of a bitch.
âAnd why me?â You crossed your arms, arching an eyebrow.
âYou are a young demon, you were alive during the singers-â
âIdols.â
âIdolâs era. You spent quite a lot of your living time following in their footsteps and listening to their songs, I was told.â
âAre you implying something?â
His smile was condensating.
âOnly that my plan is probably our best option on taking down the Honmoon and that I could very well take care of every detail myself and still exceed every expectation lowlife demons like you think you may have. But I am here, recognizing that I do not hold full acknowledgement of this eraâs musical preference and how to create⊠connections with the humans that are to follow us and listen to us. And you .â He gestured towards you with a lazy wave of his hand. âYou spent your precious human years building this knowledge.â
âI had a life outside of K-Pop, too, you know.â You mumbled over your breath, which Jinu ignored.
âSo I am askingâŠâ Not really. âFor you to be our⊠manager.âÂ
He said the last world slowly, as it sure was a new term for him. You sighed, and it was a sign of your future, where you would be mentally exhausted all the time dealing with these demons. But truth be told, it seemed exciting, working so close with something you loved in your human life and having the opportunity to roam free in the Human Realm once more if you succeeded.Â
So you agreed. Your⊠relationship, if you could call it that, with Jinu didnât change much. You still thought of him as a stuck-up, control freak of a demon, and he saw you as annoying. What changed was that, in this rundown building turned into a studio, agency and dormitory, you grew to show respect towards each otherâs choice regarding music. Therefore Jinu was not at the bottom of your âdemons I canât standâ list. No, that spot was reserved for the demon sitting on a chair by the soundbox, leaning against it and sipping over some soda, without a care in the world.
â Baby â You hissed as you made your way towards him
Oh how you hated that he didnât remember his name either. âBabyâ was both a stage name and a stereotype he played into. During your time alive, aegyo was basically mandatory. And you liked to think it was some sort of punishment for him too, after all âBabyâ was an asshole even in the Demon Realm. You snickered when Jinu told him his new alas, but now, when you had to call him out on whatever it was, it sounded too much like an endearing nickname that made you cringe every time.
âHow many times have I told you not to drink or eat anything by the soundbox?! Why are you even drinking that? We only eat souls!âÂ
Your voice was taking all the room, but since it was a recurring thing to have you scream and yell at Baby, no one else paid attention.
The demon in question let out a satisfied sigh after finishing his drink.
âI was only doing some research.â His words slurred together slightly, as if talking to you took too much of his nonexistent energy.
âResearch?â You scoffed.
Baby motioned towards Jinu with his chin.
âIf music prodigy over there wants to write a song about a fucking beverage, I want to know whatâs so special about it.â
This time your scoff was almost amused. Almost.
âYeah, I donât care. It is not a masterpiece, lyrically speaking, but it is catchy.â
Babyâs mint green eyes flashed their true golden color.
âOh? You are defending him now? Didnât know you two were friends.â
His voice was low, a contrast to his soft appearance, and at times when he grew irritated, it only got lower, rougher. It made a chill slyther down your spine, warmth taking up your veins. It only made you even more annoyed.
âWe arenât friends, we are partners, and I agree with his choices. Jinu may be a jerk, second only to you, but he is musically gifted and even if you donât like him, you could at least recognize that he is working hard to bring down the Honmoon.â
âPartners, eh?â
âAre you even listening to me?â
You felt like a vein was about to pop, but Babyâs demeanor was the same relaxed and laid back as always. He did get up, throwing his empty soda can on a nearby trash can before brushing past you.
âLetâs get this over with.â
Soon after that, all the demons got into the center of the room while you looked over on the sidelines. Their choreography was slowly perfected. Jinu had come to you to ask about song types and choreography and the look on his face when you showed him what a video was would be your go-to memory any time you wanted a laugh. Still, it was incredible how fast he had understood how music and dance had evolved and created something of his own. No wonder Gwi Ma had approached him so many centuries ago.
Almost like a talent scout.
The desire burning in his heart was enough to make a city fall.
You shivered. Sometimes it was easy to forget that all of you became demons because you were horrible human beings.
-
In the end, Soda Pop was as much of a success as you expected.
Humans all over the internet were dancing and singing along, the Saja Boys made their debut on the top 100 in Korea and sooner than anyone would expect, with the exception of Jinu, they made into the top 10, pretty close to the annoying demon hunters.
You got in touch with variety programs, booked stages, designed the merch (aka made rough sketches that artists turned into masterpieces)⊠And it was so fun. For a moment you forgot you were a demon on a mission, and you went back to being another fangirl. You missed human life sometimes.
Foolish thoughts. Your soul is mine.
âOkay, everyoneâs ready? You guys need to get to the stage in a little over an hour! This is the biggest variety show in South Korea right now.â
You said as you walked in between chairs, overseeing how makeup artists and hair stylists got the boys⊠the demon men, ready.
You were pretty sure Abbyâs MUA was swooning over him, youâll have to fire her soon and check if the future MUA would be married and older.
Jinu looked like he had his head in the clouds.
Romance was actually flirting with his hair stylist. You went over and knocked him on the head as you passed. He pouted but sat back quietly.
When you were passing by Mystery though, he was about to bite his hair stylistâs hand.
âNo! Mystery, bad d-... boy. Bad boy!â You pushed the hair stylist aside and pointed your finger towards the purplish blue haired demon. âWhat did I tell you about biting hu-... people? Biting people is off the table!â
The demon visibly deflated, pout deeper than Romanceâs had been a minute prior. You sighed. He reminded you so much of a dog, an animal, it gave you a soft spot and a heartache at the same time.Â
You gently reached your hand out to pet his head. Mystery didnât push away or tried to bite you, instead he made a content sound and smiled. You wondered if this was an echo of who he had been in a past life, a man with a short temper, but a soft spot for his family. Not that you were close in any way to him, besides singing he barely spoke besides an occasional grunt, but you were familiar now. You hoped it was some sort of comfort for him.
âYou baby him too much. Maybe he should be the one being all soft and cuddly.â A deep voice mocked on the chair next to Mysteryâs.
âAnd lose the opportunity of seeing you pout and make doe eyes while dying on the inside? Pass.â You took your hand away from Mysteryâs head to be able to turn fully towards Baby.
For once he didnât have that mustard yellow stupid hat that you chose specifically to make him look even more stupid and not cute and sweet at all.
In response, Baby only grimaced.
âMaybe you are the cruelest one after all.â
âBecause Iâm making you do aegyo ?â You grinned mischievously. âWhy, thank you. Didnât think youâd be one to spare compliments like this.â
âOnly to those who deserve it.â He said with a smirk.
In an attempt to look away from his lips, you instead chose to look around.
âWhere are your MUA and hair stylist?â
âSwooning over Abby.â
You looked in the direction he mentioned.
âGod damnit.â
âYou already arenât any godsâ favorite after selling your soul to Gwi Ma and you are still choosing to curse one of them?â
âOh shut up.â
You walked towards his vanity to pick a hairbrush.
âWhat are you doing?â He inquired with raised eyebrows.
You got closer to his chair, pushing him against the back of it to make him sit straight. One thing about demons, they slouched when no one was looking. Youâd joke that it was the weight of their sins, but lately you think it is more likely that Jinuâs military regiment of a training has been responsible for it. Who knew demons could get tired after dancing for 8 hours straight on a good day and 20 on a bad one? (Bad days happened more often.)
âWhat does it look like Iâm doing?â You swear the only way you spoke to Baby was as if you were on the verge of a meltdown. You felt like it too.
Despite wanting to rip his mint colored hair off, you actually made an effort to be gentle. Using a straightener to mold the hair into a rounder shape after brushing and then running your fingers through his strands to give him a âI donât care that much about my looksâ look. It was a simple process that took less time than youâd think, but that felt like hours had gone by. You were so focused on perfecting each strand you didnât even notice how Babyâs eyes had locked on you, so when you looked back down to his face, you almost jumped off your fake human skin.
Trying to pretend your ears didnât burn, be it for the intensity of his gaze or for how you almost let out a shrill sound, you cleaned your throat.
âWell, I am done with your hair.â Your voice never sounded that soft talking to him, but you couldnât find it in you at the moment to sound annoyed nor rash.Â
In the silence that followed, you looked at each other. It felt like the first time youâve done so.
Baby had a shorter face, squared jaw, but because he had such big eyes that made you get lost in them, it somehow looked soft. It worked to your advantage when marketing the group, the way no one seemed to realize his sharp edges. Especially the eyes. You knew they were popular for the reasons youâve thought before. They were sharp when he was off stage, lidded when uninterested, round when he needed to charm fans, and the color, as fake as it was, the same shade as the darker strands of his hair, was beautiful. It only lost to the golden flames they truly were. You hated those eyes so much. You could stare at them in hatred forever just as you were doing now.
Wait.Â
His eyes shouldnât be golden now.
âBaby.â You hissed. âYour eyes.â
âHm.â He made an absent sound, like he didnât care, mind or understand what you were on about. It was strange that he seemed to be so distracted.
On an impulse, you placed one of your hands on his cheek and moved closer to whisper yell on his face. Instead you didnât whisper yell, you just⊠whispered.
âYour eyes. You canât let anyone see them like this.â
He only blinked back in a way that made your own eye tick.
âPay attention. You⊠Why are you without makeup as well? I mean, yeah I get it, the MUA is swooning over Abby, but did they really neglect their job like this? Unbelievable.â
You moved away, turning you back to that space in between realities where you were trapped solely in Babyâs presence. It was horrible. So disgusting. Your blood was boiling and that was the only reason why your face was red.
You picked a makeup palette and brush. When you were human, you did like to do your own makeup. Maybe some wouldnât find what you did anything worth notice, but the process of applying layer after layer and painting the picture of a version of yourself that made you content was something you enjoyed. You also had done other peopleâs makeup from time to time for the fun of it as well, but never when the stakes were high like with a public figure, such as a K-Pop idol. No pressure.
Turning back towards Baby, at least his eyes were back to the human color agreed before.
âClose your eyes.â
âWhat are you doing now?â
âWhat does it look like, smartass?â
He grumbled some more but complied nonetheless.
The mint haired demon was already wearing a very colorful outfit. You were sure he ripped that outfit to shreds in his mind once he saw it.Â
You decided to give him a break and chose a black shade. You smoked the color on the outer part of his eye, highlighting its shape. Then you decided to use some eyeliner for the sake of it.
âOpen.â
âYouâre really hyper fixated on my eyes today.â
âIâll stab them if that makes you feel better.â
âFeisty.â
The older demon smirked at you, making you grimace.
âLook up or Iâll really stab your eye.â You said as you brought the mascara applicator closer to his left eye.
He grumbled something under his breath that sounded a lot like a curse before obliging.Â
In truth, there were many ways to apply mascara on someone else. Making them blink on the applicator was one of them, but you wanted him, who most likely had never used mascara before, to squirm a bit at something so close to his cornea.
To your dismay, Baby didnât seem to really mind it, and you made quick work on his lashes.
âDone.â
âMy lips are dry.â
âDrink some water then.â
âIsnât there anything to apply to them?â
âYes.â
âOkay.â
âOkay.â
âApply it on me.â
âDid you hurt your hands and no one told me? Apply it yourself, you big baby.â
âWell, I am Saja Baby, am I not?â The grown man (demon) in question said as he laid back on his chair, manspreading like an asshole and resting his arm against the back of the chair as well. He had this smirk on his face as if he had made the best argument there was and prevented a World War from happening.Â
âYour position in the group has nothing to do with your ability, or lack of, to take care of yourself.â You crossed your arms as you glared at him.
âHumor me. It will help with my reputation will it not?â
Grumbling you turned around for what felt like the hundredth time the past hour or so.Â
The incompetent MUA had left all of their equipment on the vanity, so you had options to choose from. The one you settled for? Strawberry Festival flavor. You held back a giggle.
You turned back once more towards Baby, stepping into his personal space to apply the sheer lipgloss on his lips.
Once he felt the scent of it, he grimaced for a moment, which felt like a victory to you. That was, until you actually focused on the task at hand.
His lower lip followed the applicatorâs movement slightly. The smooth and plump skin was devilishly hypnotizing you may have over applied the product in your trance.
âOkay.â Your voice sounded way more breathless for your liking. âNow do this.âÂ
You pressed your own lips against each other, paying close attention to his to make sure he did the same. You nodded when he did as if approving of the movement and not because you were speechless and your world seemed to limit itself to that insignificant action.
âFive minutes!â A staff called and the world shattered back in its place.
You cleared your throat and looked around to make sure everyone was ready.
Mystery was facing you, and something in the pit of your stomach made you think he knew the secrets you didnât choose for yourself.
-
Jinu was up to no good.
You mean, yeah, he wanted to destroy the Honmoon and help the Demon King/Lord/Supreme Being take over the human world to feast on all of their souls.
But you knew that. What you didnât know was why he seemed⊠different.
Something in him definitely changed, yet the others didnât seem to notice, or perhaps they just didnât care.
Look into it.
Came the command from the dark space where your soul used to be.
You did your best to keep watch on the brunette, but nothing truly felt out of the ordinary, even if something in your gut felt, knew, something had shifted.
Maybe heâs just excited about the incoming world domination thatâll allow him to forget his unpleasant memories from when he was human?
Gwi Ma didnât answer those thoughts.
You slumped over the chair you were sitting on, letting out a tired sound. You had come to the studio to listen to Jinuâs new masterpiece, the song that would effectively break the Honmoon once and for all. And you had to hand it to him, the song was good . If you were still a human, youâd definitely listen to it on repeat.
âMust be so hard not having to dance and sing for hours on end to help your brothers in lack of soul feast on humanity.â
Swirling the chair around, you saw Baby leaning against the door frame, the brighter light from the corridor creating a halo around him that could never belong to a demon.Â
As he stepped inside, closing the door behind himself, the patterns of his skin grew forth, just as his skin itself took on a purplish hue. His bright mint hair lost some of its shine, unlike his eyes, that shone brighter when golden. His lips and nails also became a darker shade, the latter growing longer with each step he took.
As an answer, you simply hummed back, a noncommittal noise that served to show him how tired you felt, being this the first time you didnât really try to quip back at him. You also didnât call him out for showing his true form, all of you could go back to your demon forms in the building any time except for rehearsals, since Jinu wanted to make sure you could all stay in human form without breaking a sweat. It would all change soon enough.
You were also in your demon self in that moment, purple skin and patterns and all. In all honesty, you didnât have it in you to wear a human skin at the moment.
âGwi Ma sent me on a side quest that doesnât have a clear ending and I have failed it nonetheless.â Your head tilted to the side, hair cascading with the movement.
âAhâŠâ Baby sat on the leather couch by a wall, doing what he knew what to do best: manspread.
âShould I prepare a party for when he burns you to ashes?â
The scoff you let out sounded suspiciously like a laugh.
âMake sure there is enough soda for everybody for me.â
The demon in front of you let out a displeased grunt.
âI donât want to see a soda can ever again in my life.â
That actually made you giggle.
âOh, you think this is funny? Having to sacrifice your integrity to take over the world?â
You got up, deciding to sit on the same couch as him. It looked comfortable anyways.
âIt is a small price to pay in face of all the rewards.â
You smiled at him, hoping itâd come out teasing, but you knew it was a genuine smile at the end of the day.
Perhaps Baby noticed too since he was staring intently at your lips.
In the brief silence that followed, you squirmed a bit, which made him look up at your eyes instead. His own had taken that sharpen edge the Pride didnât get to see, but what caught your attention was the way his pupils were no longer two slits of black, but rather the black was consuming all the gold in his irises.Â
Your pulse quickened and your instincts told you to run. The look on the demonâs face was not the lazy indifference or the smug certainty you had come to grow used to. This was the look of a true demon, ready to feast on a victim.
You tried your best to not make any movement or breathe too deeply, anything that would announce what you could only suppose was fear.Â
And that made Baby smirk, like he knew exactly what you were doing and feeling. He moved closer to your face slowly, until there was little space in between you, enough so that you werenât touching skin to skin, yet his breath easily made contact with your ear and the side of your neck and jaw.
âIt truly is quite stressful, isnât it? Living up to Gwi Maâs expectations and desires, managing a boyband, making sure we are behavingâŠâÂ
The way he inhaled made you think he was taking in your scent, and when he exhaled you could only think of gentle caresses in the dim light.
âI am quite stressed myself⊠Jinu is a pain in the ass with all this training, every demon and Gwi Ma want more, more, more âŠâ
He got closer to you by the end of his sentence, so close his lips brushed against the skin of your neck when he uttered his next words.
âIf only there was a way to let out all of this steam⊠You wouldnât happen to know a way, do you?â
Your lips parted, but your mind was miles away. No. Your mind was exactly in the moment, fixated on the point his lips met your neck, on his arm on the back of the couch brushing against your shoulder, and on the way he leaned over you, inviting you to lie down beneath him. Your mind was a mix of feelings, sensations and desires you had not felt in the undead life. So what left your lips was not a string of coherent sounds that make up words, but a gasped, half sound that said everything you didnât know how to.
Baby placed the hand that wasnât on the couch on your lower back, pulling you in and changing the axis of your world, resulting in your body meeting the not so soft cushions of the leather couch.
âUse that smart mouth of yours to tell me what you want, sweetheart.âÂ
He ran his nose over your jaw, touch light and barely there. It made your stomach flip, turning your head slightly, inviting him to take a bite.Â
The nickname he had uttered wasnât something youâd expect from him, it couldâve been condescending at any other interaction between the two of you. Yet right now it left your head light and airy, it was embarrassing and addictive.
You had more difficulty than normally at swallowing, also licking your lips to try and see if your mouth, tongues and lips, still knew how to form a sentence.
âI⊠could see how both of us could⊠benefit from a dealâŠâ Honestly, the words didnât even make that much sense to you, you just wanted to fill in the gap he left for you to answer.
âA âdealâ, huh?â
You nodded.
âAnd what deal would that be? What would it entrail?â
âPleaseâŠâ You breathed out, wanting him to understand you didnât want to think at the moment, you wanted to feel.
âBegging when we havenât even done anything? How pathetic.â
He pulled back and you cursed at yourself internally for having to bite back a whine. His cold absence was replaced by the warmth of his hand on your chin, long nails digging on your cheeks to make you look into the dark lightless pits of his eyes.
âNeed you to say loud and clear what you need, sweetheart. I may be a demon, but I am not that kind of monster.â
âFor fuckâs sake, BabyâŠâ
âTch, dirty mouthâŠâ
âJust fuck me.â
âOh.â
His eyebrows had shot up momentarily, before dipping back when he blinked. A smirk on Babyâs face usually appeared when theyâd banter or youâd be annoyed at him; it was a playful curve to show his amusement, and it was nothing like the smirk you saw now.
This smirk was the lock on a door, the only thing keeping you and whatever clawed to be free from meeting in the middle. When his lips pulled back enough you could see the gleam of one of his fangs, you knew it had come unlocked and there would be no turning back now.
With a mind that was very much your own, even if you had a hard time admitting to it, your fingers found the soft threads of hair on his head, gripping onto it tight to bring him down and make his lips meet yours.
It was a clash of wills, a magnetic push and pull that ended not with your surrender, but with your insatiable appetite leading you to part your lips and take more and more of anything Baby presented to you.
The hand on your face had burned a path down your jaw, neck, gliding in between the valley of your breasts to find purchase on your waist. Once again you felt the bite of his nails, this time softened by the shirt you wore.Â
Baby pressed himself against you, hips grinding down against you while the deep rumble he let was swallowed by your greedy lips. On instinct, your legs braced him, pulling him as if there was any space left to close.
He left your lips to shower your neck in attention. Having your airways unobstructed did not mean you were able to breathe properly, not when the contact of his tongue and fangs on your sensitive skin glided and marked over the natural patterns you already had.
âBabyâŠâ The nickname that wasnât exactly his name fell from your parted lips.
He answered with a groan. His hands wandering underneath your shirt.
âNeed thisâŠâ His words were muffled by the skin of your neck, and when you nod, expecting him to continue touching you, he instead pulled away.
You let out an indignant cry, which was met with him pulling you up.
âUndress.â The word came tumbling harshly out of his mouth, but you complied nonetheless.
While you busied yourself with your clothing, expecting heâd want to enjoy the show, Baby surprised you once more by directing his attention towards the couch. He grabbed a blanket that was left there by someone else (Jinu maybe?), and covered the cushions. When he turned back to you, you were standing with only your underwear to cover you, a puzzled expression on your face.
âDidnât I tell you to undress? I meant for you to take everything off.â He growled, which made you jump to attention, fumbling with your bra clasp for the first time since you started using one so many decades ago.
Baby let out an almost annoyed sound, stepping closer to take the piece of clothing off of you himself. You used the opportunity to ease your curiosity.
âWhy did you cover the couch?â
He took his gaze off your breasts in a Herculean effort, and seeing such a man, a demon, an idol, take so much interest in you, to appear to crave you as much as you craved him in that moment, it made something bloom inside you.
âLeather is uncomfortable when sweat and⊠other things are involved.â
Your mouth fell into an O shape in understanding. Your reaction seemed to amuse Baby as he brought you close to his embrace, a hand creeping over your back resulting, a second later, on the relief of not having your breasts restricted anymore. His long nails, clawlike, dragged the straps down your shoulders and the sound he let out had you clenching over nothing.
As soon as the fabric hit the floor, his hands covered your breasts, massaging the fat of it just to feel you fully on his hands.
Growing weak on the knees, you leaned against him and his touch, hands on his shoulder.Â
Baby let go of one of your breasts in order to hold your waist once more, guiding you forwards as he sat down on the covered couch to straddle his lap.
You didnât even have time to think if you were comfortable, not when he attached his mouth to your nipple, sucking on it and making you arch your back, pressing more of yourself against him, hands letting go of his shoulders to favor his hair. Maybe a part of you found it a bit ironic the sort of attention he was giving you, and if he felt your light amusement, it might have been what fueled him to bite the side of your breast while his hand pinched the other. Or maybe he was just an asshole.
Either way, the result was the same, a cry of pleasure coming from your lips and echoing in the empty recording studio. You tugged on his hair, from pleasure or retaliation, you werenât sure, only to receive a sound from him, a mix of his own pleasure and amusement.
The mint haired demon switched his attention towards the other breast, and by then you felt consumed by everything that was Baby. If you had any type of coherence still holding on to the moment, you would feel embarrassed by the way you started humping against him. But rationality was overrated, and you were nothing but a being made of need.
âYou always need to be in control of the situation, sweetheart?â Babyâs voice was deep and rich like hot chocolate. You havenât even noticed the way you just couldnât stop moaning and mewling.
âYou always have something to say, always nagging me to do or not to do something⊠It made me dream of stuffing that mouth full of my cock.â His mouth made a path over your neck until it was next to your ear.
âWould you let me use it? Just this once.â Baby begged in a needy drawl that was so uncharacteristic for him you couldnât help but feel eager to please him.
You kissed him deeply before nodding. But even if you agreed, you also wished to take your time. Kissing his neck this time, leaving your own marks on his skin and finding some joy on the small sounds he let out. You pulled his sweater off, hands mapping the extent of his chest, learning where the lines of his lean torso would lead, mouth following soon after.
As you got to your knees, it was the first time you thought his manspreading was a positive thing. With his legs parted, you had a clear view of what you desired most.
You took a moment to take him in. Baby was slightly out of breath, chest rising and falling out of rhythm, his gaze pinning you down. You felt pride for being the one to leave him in such a state, teasingly running your hands over his thighs.
âDonât you dare tease me.â He growled.
âSo impatient, BabyâŠâ You slowly unzipped his pants. âYou know patience is a virtue, right?â
âIâve been patient.â Baby got so eerily still you felt goosebumps.
âI have patiently waited to grasp your attention. Patiently waited for you to get somewhat comfortable with me. Patiently waited until you were ready to give me exactly what I need .â
âOh, and you want a âcongratulationsâ note with it?â
âI already told you what I want.â He tilted his head. âI want your mouth so full of my cock the only sound I can hear are those pretty little moans of yours muffled.â
You stared at him, still as stone, for a single moment of defiance, just to show you could resist him. It was only to try and not seem desperate for the very thing he was offering, but in reality it didnât take that long for you to lower his pants and underwear and pretend you werenât salivating at the sight of him.
Not being able to help yourself, you pressed your thumb against his tip, smearing his precum over his head, making Baby hiss.Â
He wasnât long, he was average really, but the girth of him? It made you daydream. You were certain heâd stretch you out and that itâd be delicious.
You brought your dominant hand close to your mouth, spitting on it and letting your saliva miss with his cum when you brought your hand to his member, gently stroking him at first, tracing over his veins.
A buck of his hips made some of your scrambled thoughts connect once more, and you started to move faster, tightening your hold against him.
âThatâs better.â Baby almost sounded relieved.
You watched him for a few heartbeats, taking in the way his face contorted in pleasure, small sounds tumbling past his lips. When his hand came down to grip your hair you decided you needed more too.
Wrapping your lips around his head, you swirled your tongue around before giving a tentatively suck. The groan he let out made your still in place panties cling to you, wetter by the moment. You moved slowly, taking him inch by inch, bobbing your head as you went, until he met the back of your throat. You stilled for a second or so, taking in the feeling of him against your tongue, heavy, warm, hard.
âFucking perfect.â He panted âI knew youâd be fucking perfect.â
The compliment made you eager to please. Even if his hand was on your hair, you had autonomy over your movements, and they were growing sloppy, an instinct, going up and doing and sucking, hoping, wanting, heâd give you what you needed as a reward.
Baby lost himself in the rhythm you set as well, hips buckling every once in a while, chasing his high.
âFuck, sweetheart⊠Iâm so close⊠You better pull away because Iâm gonna⊠ngh⊠Iâm gonnaâŠâ
Instead of pulling away, you picked up the pace. Baby made a surprised sound but didnât complain, his grip tightening in your hair, only to end up holding you in place as he came, your name in the midst of the beautiful symphony of his moans.
You pulled back, swallowing his cum; the taste a bit unpleasant didnât really get to you as much as his lidded eyes did. You made a show of licking your lips.
âCâmere.â Baby grunted and you complied in a second, climbing back onto the couch with him.
He pinned you down on the blanket, one of his forearms by your head while his free hand traveled down your navel and into your moist panties.
âLook at you⊠Youâre so wet⊠Is this because of me?â
His grin was predatory, all fangs and lust.
âBabyâŠâ You breathed out.
He pressed the pads of his fingers against your entrance, collecting the essence that pooled over his fingers. You did what you did best in these moments and moaned, needy and broken from a light touch of his, as pathetic as he claimed you were moments before.
âWhat do you want, sweetheart? I thought we agreed Iâd only do as you tell me too.â You didnât remember agreeing to that, or that talking was such a difficult quest.
You had almost formed an entire sentence in your head when he pressed his fingers to your clit, making you let out a surprised scream of pleasure.
âSo sensitiveâŠâ He tutted, mockingly disappointed. âI bet you can come just like this, with my fingers on you, but not inside you.â
You thought youâd cry.
âNo⊠No, please⊠Please⊠I needâŠâ Your words jumbled together and with the whines you made.
Baby leaned down to kiss your cheeks and then your jaw.
âTell me.â His voice was more gentle this time, coaxing you to use your words to get what you needed. âTell me what you want.â
âYou⊠Your mouth⊠Please, BabyâŠâ
âAnything for my darling.â
For a single moment you could breathe without the weight of him comforting and pressing against you, but it wasnât a breath of relief, it was the intake of air before begging cries. Not that youâd need it, because you soon found out that Baby only âleftâ because he was making his way down your body, in between your legs. He carefully pulled your underwear off, and over your own erratic heartbeat you swear you heard him moan at the sight of you, fully bare, spread and wet for him.
You lifted yourself on your forearms to take a look at him but your head fell back as soon as his mouth made contact with your core.
Baby lapped on your juices desperately, starved. His hands held you down and open, preventing your quivering legs from closing around his head, or for your hips to raise to meet his mouth. He took his time savoring you, as if you were an exquisite drink heâd never have the chance to taste again, but eventually he placed his mouth on your clit and gave it his undivided attention.
He was making you see the colors of the Honmoon and they only got more intense once his finger pressed against your entrance.
In such a hazy state of mind you didnât notice, but Baby had retracted his long claw-like nails so as to not hurt you, slowly pushing a finger inside and massaging your walls.
You think you said something because soon enough he added another finger, scissoring you as he still sucked on your clit.
You tugged hard on his hair, making him groan against you, the vibrations sending another shockwave of pleasure. You should be embarrassed with how easily you came, with the way you screamed his name. But the way he lapped oh so desperately on your cum, like he couldnât get enough, you discovered you didnât care, you just wanted him⊠and you needed more.
âBabyâŠâ How many times have you called out his name today, breathy and needy? Didnât matter.
âBaby⊠need moreâŠâ
âYouâre not satisfied yet, (y/n)?â He chuckled darkly.
âGood. Neither am I.â
Music to your ears.
Baby climbed on top of you once more, his darkened eyes on yours as he lined himself on your entrance, grasping every reaction to him as he pushed inside.Â
Slowly, so slowly, he stretched you towards the brink of pleasure. Just taking him in left you panting, eyes hazed, mind scattered into a million tiny pieces that screamed in unison, begging him to move.
He started just as slow as his entrance, moving ooooooouuuuuuttt and then iiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnn.
Torturous. Delicious. You felt every vein, every time his hips met yours. It was too good. It was not enough. It was too much. You needed more. More. Mooooore.
You gripped his shoulders, long nails drawing dark blood as you broke the skin, Baby let out a hiss, thrusting harder on an instinct.
You babbled, words stumbling over themselves in the hurry to leave your lips, asking, begging, pleading.
What a blessing it was that Baby heard every single word. His thrusts grew faster, rough. They didnât hit as deep but they were the best thing to ever happen in your existence.
He held onto the arm of the couch for support, his eyes not moving from your face making you meet his gaze, mesmerized by it, lost in the pleasure he gave you.
His other hand made its way down to hold your leg over his hip, the position intimate and close. He slowed down for a couple of thrusts to be able to hit as deep inside you as before, leaving you arching your back and tightening the hold you had on him.
It grew desperate and messy, Baby leaned his head down to kiss your skin, to suck on it and mark you even more. You were getting closer to the edge of pleasure, still sensitive from before. Yet you couldnât tell him, words escaped you once again. But he knew from the way you tightened around him and how your eyes pleaded for him to continue. And he did. Until you scratched his back raw and screamed his name again once his thumb met your clit, moving in delicious circular movements. His head fell to your shoulder, thrusts without rhythm but plenty of purpose, moving until he pressed as deep inside you as he could and let himself go.
You panted, but breathing eluded you time and time again tonight.
When Baby pulled back, you felt the way his cum dripped out of your hole, the mental image making you moan.
You thought heâd get up and leave, or help you clean if he was a good demon. Instead he turned you to lay on your stomach.
âWha-... Baby?â You looked over your shoulder, trying to see his face.
âOne more.â You werenât sure you heard it right.
âOne more and Iâll stop. Please, I promise Iâll stop, I just⊠I need one more.â
You felt him humping against your backside, still wet from your first round, surprisingly still as hard as before.
âO-or tell me to stop now⊠I⊠Iâll let you go but I-...â
For a man so sure of himself, so confident, hearing him beg was new⊠and it turned you on a lot.Â
You nodded.
âOne more.â
You swear he let out a breath of relief before positioning himself against your entrance again. The stretch of him was as good as before, burning in that delicious way a little less.Â
Baby pressed himself against your back, forehead pressed against your temple and lips by your ear, making it possible for you to hear every single moan and whimper of his.
His movements werenât desperate like before, they were measured, hard and deep, like he wanted to make it last as long as he could.Â
You, on the other hand, gripped the blanket under yourself, moaning repeatedly and just enjoying every delicious thrust.Â
The studio was filled with a different type of song, one of pleasure and desire, meant only for your ears, so that when ecstasy came rushing through your veins, only you knew the sound of euphoria, and it sounded exactly like your name coming out of Babyâs lips.

âOnce we break that Honmoon.â Baby panted as he held you close. âWe can be free. We can do whatever we want, and just⊠be together.â
You nuzzled against him, pulling yourself as close as possible, trying to merge yourself onto his very being.Â

A/N: I've been falling in love with Roy for a while now, so I wanted to write him something... I hope you enjoy your reading!
45 months ago Roy Harperâs life changed.
Change was not something unusual for him, in fact it accompanied him in every moment of his life. Many may try to argue that change is part of human nature and, therefore, expected, but they werenât the ones that constantly had a home taken away from them.Â
Roy Sr., Brave Bow, Oliver⊠Roy had had many fathers, many homes. The first gone before he could have any memories of him. The second was responsible for happy memories, for helping him develop as an archer and into a somewhat decent human being, Roy liked to believe. And the third⊠Oliver, was the most complicated one of all. Someone that Roy had admired, looked up to, someone that offered a new world of possibilities, and that turned his back to him just as fast. It had taken years for them to come back to what they used to be, and it still wasnât the same.
And through all these turning points in his life, none of them were as defining and as scary as becoming a father.
It was not supposed to happen, him falling in love with a mercenary. A very badass, gorgeous mercenary that kicked his ass on their first encounter. God she was beautiful.
Roy was supposed to get closer to her, turn her in. Not to get to know her, her story, her quirks, the way she looked under the first light of day. He was not supposed to fall in love. And it may have been his naivety, the pink tinted glasses that made him blind to pressing matters such as using a condom. Whatever it was, it did not change the result. Lian changed him.
(Y/N) had found him. Just as he tried to run away from her to protect her, to not let her be caught because he simply couldnât think of going against her anymore, she found him. Even if it was to give him an earful, as if he was the only one responsible for the life growing inside her. Roy had, admittedly, stopped hearing her rant the moment she announced the pregnancy, and, as soon as he got his bearings again, he kissed her with the passion of with the fervor of a man that counted down the seconds of every day his life was but a reminder of her absence.Â
Her pregnancy changed Roy.
Parenthood did him good, heâd say. When (Y/N) called him overbearing, heâd call it careful. There was no need for his girlfriend to lift a finger if it were up to him. Heâd do whatever it was himself. She could just lay back and glow with the new light motherhood painted her in.
She was also strictly forbidden from going back to her former work. Words that she did not love, not when they clipped her will and freedom. Roy would sometimes catch her with a displeased look in her face, sharing hushed words with the baby bump. For the first time, Roy thought of the possibility of her not wanting the baby. He knew the former mercenary liked the adrenaline, the thrill of a mission. Would family life be enough for her? It wasnât as if Roy himself didnât have any doubts and fears. He did! It was just⊠He cherished this new home he was building for himself, and he was scared it would be taken from him like the ones before. And above it all, he also wanted his love to want this as well.
After all, Lian changed him for the best.
His daughter was a healthy, beautiful, happy baby. The cutest baby ever. The most precious baby in the world. The most precious being in the world, period. The moment Roy held her, everything fell in its place like everything, from the creation of the universe to his joy and pain, had happened so humanity could arrive at the pivotal moment of Lianâs birth. It was a given heâd do anything for her.
Needless to say, he hated how things turned out.
Things can be stressful with a newborn, a baby, a new romantic relationship, moving in together not long after getting to really know each other. Arguments were meant to happen. Stressful days, sleepless nights, and Roy was not proud of the way he wanted to slow down and have his head âemptyâ the way he used to. In the end, he hated even more the way his wishes seemed to come true.
He came home one day and (Y/N) greeted him with packed bags and their 27 month old on her hip. Things had been stranded, unwanted words had been said, diverted dreams formed and broke and in that moment, (Y/N) had missed who she was before him. Roy protested. A lot. It didnât change the fact that both of his girls walked out. The silence in his empty house was worse than any sick nightmare his brain could conjure.
Shared custody was a bitch. He wanted to see his princess every day and night, and he wanted to shower his (Y/N) in love. He knew he messed up, she did too. What he didnât want was to stop fighting for it, for them.
The opportunity presented itself in the form of an invitation.
Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance were going to tie the knot after so many years together, and Roy was extremely happy.Â
He was even happier with two facts.Â
First, Lian was asked to be the flower girl, and his princess would look so cute with a puff dress, throwing petals around.Â
Second, Oliver and Dinah didnât know him and (Y/N) had broken up. Mostly because Roy had the certainty that they were made for each other, and the break up was just a bump in the way. And what better opportunity to woo his love once more than in the most romantic setup known to man?Â
Roy was no stranger to change. But one change he would not let happen was drifting away from you.
-
The good thing about having any sort of ties with a billionaire was that they did not hold back when it comes to their close circle.
The car drive had been tiresome, trying to keep Lian entertained because even if she was a lovely and calm child, she was still a toddler getting to know the world for the first time, being filled with curiosity and an abomination towards boredom.Â
Roy was a good father and he did his best during the trip, but he was driving, so it was up to you to keep the 3 year old entertained and only use screen time as a last resort. You werenât a perfect mother and you were sure they didnât exist, but you were not raising an iPad kid.
Getting to the hotel was a blessing.Â
Lian had fallen asleep a while before arriving and you were carrying her while Roy took the luggage. Oliver had paid for your room, insisting on his groom's party to stay for a week at the luxury hotel at his expense (it must be so good not to worry about money, gods) while he and Dinah would elope after the party and hide away in a tropical destination for their honeymoon.Â
You let Roy handle the check-in as well, the receptionist words a mere background noise as you took in the opulence of the grand hall.
Marble floors went on as far as the eye could see. White columns rose up into an ornate ceiling painted with angels and clouds. Your nose scrunched at the corniness before you looked back at the sofas and armchairs with plush cushions, colorful pillows, and plants. Plants everywhere, breaking the monotone of white and gold with splashes of green and pink on the instances flowers bloomed in between the leaves. The whole place was one step away from being tacky, yet some interior designer that, no doubt, asked for a fortune had made it all work. You expected the same type of decor in your room.
Taking the comically large elevator, you were pleased to find out that the suite Oliver had booked you was as grandiose as any movie made those seem.
It had a living room fully furnished with couches that looked plush and new, a thick carpet under a coffee table with a fruit bowl and todayâs newspaper, floor to ceiling windows that gave way to the beautiful resort painted in green and blue from its planted trees and pools, and an entertainment center with an opening in which you had a feeling a TV was hidden underneath.
Roy passed by those things with the lack of attention only someone that had spent years in the middle of all that luxury. You followed him to the bedroom.
âOh my⊠It seems Ollie mustâve mixed things up⊠There is only one bed.â
Your eyes met the back of Royâs head. You had known him for long enough to not detect any negativity in his words. In fact, his excitement and happiness for the single bed standing in the middle of the room was palpable, even if you knew he thought he was concealing his true thoughts.
That did not make his words any less true. When you turned to face the room, the bed fit for a couple was the first thing you noticed. It was plush and taller than the one you had in the two bedroom apartment you shared with your toddler, your attention being caught by the thick sheets and way too many pillows two humans would ever need. Next you took in the bedroom bench in front of it, it was a light cream color to match the bed sheets and a piece of furniture you never thought to be necessary. The fluffy rug that must be a pain to clean looked pristine white and you felt a headache forming at the thought of any of you spilling or dirtying it. There was also a small sofa under the window because apparently the hotel designer loved for their guests to have as many options to sit in.
What made you raise an eyebrow was the intricate vanity desk in white wood carved with flowers growing from its legs up to the mirror. It had one large drawer in the middle, no doubt to keep the guestâs makeup or any other accessory. It was beautiful and opulent as everything else surrounding you.
Your peripheral vision let you see an entrance to what you could assume was a walk-in closet, and, on the other side of the room, a door that led to a bathroom that looked to be half the size of your apartment, with a bathtub and two sinks were lovebirds that could not part from each other definitely took their time getting ready.
âI can take the other room if youâd like.â Roy turned to you with a sympathetic smile.Â
âThe living room?â
âNo. I think I saw another bedroom with a single bed.â
How much did this room cost? You honestly did not want to know since itâd probably be more than all of your marks ever got in your bank account.
âWe can discuss that later.â You decided. âI need to put Lian down.â
You set out to find this other room because your darling girl was growing and even with all the training youâve done in your life and all the exercise from chasing down your marks, nothing prepared you to carry in your arms a sleeping 3 year old that was growing too fast for your liking for a couple hours or so.
Roy followed after you like a lost puppy and you felt the sudden urge to smile. It almost distracted you from the fact that there was, indeed, another bedroom.Â
This one was also painted in neutral cream colors, the only differences being the single canopy bed in the middle of the room instead of a king sized bed, and the splashes of color that made the room seem more soft. Blue and red birds could be seen taking flight or standing still mid song on branches that took up every wall. A simpler vanity table stood next to a wardrobe. Instead of intricate carvings, both the vanity and the wardrobe matched each other with simple ruffle-like details that reminded you of flowers. Your eyes softened imagining brushing Lianâs hair in front of the vanityâs mirror while she smiled widely.
Carefully placing the girl on the bed, you covered her with the sheets that smelled of lavender mixed with another fresh scent, and closed the sheer curtains so she could rest but her body would know it was not nighttime yet. Not closing the door completely, you and Roy made your way out. He had been silent as he left Lianâs bag by the wardrobe; one of you would set her things aside once she woke up from her nap.
Once you two were back into the main bedroom you placed one of the bags on the bench and opened it to start unpacking.
âWhen Lian sees that room, Iâm sure sheâll not want you to have it.â You spoke quietly, a bit teasingly.
âBesides, we are both adults. We can share a bed without a fuss.â
You pretend not to feel the movements from the way Roy punched the air in celebration while you took the folded clothes off the bag. He cleared his throat as a way to mask the giddiness in his tone. He failed miserably.
âYes, definitely. We are both adults and nothing will be happening. Just a very good night of sleep.â
âGood. I have no intention of sleeping with you in any other sense of the word.â
The redhead made a non-comical noise of betrayal.

The wedding happened the following day.
It surely was a beautiful wedding. But you werenât paying much attention to the decoration. Your mind was elsewhere.
Being invited to be Royâs plus one meant you would be a bridesmaid while he was a groomsman. It was true that in the time you spent in a relationship with the archer you had gotten close to Dinah. She was a force to be reckoned with and you found it easy to open up to her, starting to care for the older woman soon enough. Not only that, but she had made sure you knew she wasnât inviting you simply because of your relationship with Roy, but because you became her friend, and because she adored Lian as well.
Which leads to where your focus resided on that evening.
Again, bridesmaid and groomsman.Â
You too had to walk arm in arm down the aisle. And fuck did Roy look good in a suit. His hair had gotten longer since you two broke up, and you did like the way it stood unruly and charming, inviting you to run your fingers through the soft strands you insisted he should moisturize and apply conditioner to when you two lived together. Although, at the moment, it was brushed and combed in a way that did not feel like Roy, but was as charming as he was. You also had a feeling that heâs been taking up more opportunities to fight crime at night and work out with Jason if the size of his biceps were anything to go by. Not that you had the feeling of his arms engraved in your brain and body or anything. You just couldnât help but notice that they seemed a bit⊠larger than before.
It was a saving grace and the cruelest of tortures having to part from him to stand on one side of the aisle while he stood on the other. You wish you could say you kept your eyes staring ahead, or on the happy couple when they got together as a way to keep your breath steady and your thoughts pure. It wouldâve worked a lot better if you didnât feel Royâs piercing green eyes on you, making the already skin tight silk dress Dinah chose for her bridesmaids seem flimsy, or even invisible, under his watchful gaze.
Your attention was only successfully adverted from Roy once, when your sweet daughter made her entrance.
Your little girl looked so cute and every bit of the little princess everyone seemed to spoil her to be. She walked down the aisle in a soft green dress with white flowers embroidered on them, matching her small Mary-Janes. You smiled brightly at her as she created a path of yellow flowers on the aisle. It was visible Lian had taken the job very seriously, her eyes glued on the petals to make sure theyâd fall prettily, and only when she had made it to the front steps did she look up at you and her dad with a proud smile, running towards you as she was instructed.Â
Making sure to tell her she did a good job, your eyes found Royâs, and you two shared a smile. Even if you two were a patchwork of mistakes, Lian was the one thing you two could agree you did right.
And so you spent the ceremony paying more attention to your little family than the vows being exchanged. You were sure that at some point youâd see videos and photos of the day, but at that moment all you could see was Lian paying rapid attention to the first wedding sheâs ever witnessed, and to how Roy looked at you as if the two of you were the ones standing in front of a crowd of your loved ones exchanging promises. The certainty in his eyes made it look like he was making you a promise.
-
You didnât drink during the dinner and the party that happened after the ceremony for a few reasons.
First, itâd be a bit hard running after your very active daughter who loved exploring.
Second, you honestly did not feel like it that night and were fine with drinking mocktails, water, juice, or soda.
Third, you didnât want to leave Roy alone.
He had been sober for a few years now, no drinks or substances. That didnât make it any easier at times, and a party filled with drunken people offering him a drink every couple of minutes was one of them. So you two busied yourself with other things. Lian, catching up with people you havenât seen in a while, gossiping over Justice League affairs, shooting murderous looks at people approaching Roy with an extra cup, the likes.Â
Needless to say, time ran by.Â
When the three of you made your way back into your suite, it was past midnight. Roy carried a very much asleep Lian in his arms while you carried shoes and the wedding favors placed inside two large gift bags. It was safe to say that once Lian was tucked in and you had showered, you were out like a light.
The tiredness from the day before made your mind forget how wrong it was to have your ex-boyfriend wrapped around you like a koala.
The redhead archer often disagreed when you called him clingy, yet when you two dated he was often found with an arm around you. Your brain had long made the connection of comfort with his warmth, and that morning it was no different.
You woke up slowly. The morning sun wasnât filtered by any curtains as you and Roy seemed to have forgotten to close them in your tired state. The room around you and the soft sheets were unfamiliar, but the warmth surrounding you wasnât.
With a hum, you turned to face the unruly bed hair in the prettiest shade of red youâve ever seen. The movement made the arm around you tightened, the man it belonged to groaning in displeasure.
âGo back to sleep.â His lips caressed the pillowcase, making his words slightly muffled.
You smiled as soft as the first sunlight and gave in to that everlasting urge to run your fingers through his hair.
âGood morning.â Your voice was a whisper, fearing the possibility that if you spoke any louder you wouldnât be able to deny the need to stay and never leave.
Roy had his eyes closed, depriving you of getting lost in his sharp, watchful, forest green eyes. He moved closer until his nose made contact with your neck, inhaling deeply, bringing life into his lungs to start the morning, or simply because the action was familiar, because he missed holding you close and being surrounded by everything that was you, because that way he wouldnât remember he would go home to an empty apartment, without his girls.
âDun wanna wake upâŠâ His words caressed your skin, and for a moment you just kept massaging his scalp silently.
You donât know how long you stayed like that, pretending you havenât parted ways, acting like you wanted to be away when it pained you, feigning that the rift between you two was your biggest regret. But at this point, how could you fix something that was torn apart?Â
Lianâs cries pulled you away from your thoughts and into action, prying yourself from Roy to make way to your confused toddler, who in her sleepy state, had only seen a room she didnât know and her parents nowhere in sight.Â
Wrapping her in your arms to calm her down, gently rocking her smaller frame and whispering comforting words, you didnât notice the look in Royâs face.Â
The archer, leaning against the door frame, was gazing upon his whole world, drinking up the sight he was starved from, and wishing, hoping, and bargaining with every deity that would hear his desperate pleas to let him have them in his life until he took his last breath. He may not deserve them, but heâd love them over anything and everyone else, and there was no force in the universe that could deprive him of them.
-
After breakfast, the three of you were walking around the hotel, Lian in between you and Roy, holding both of your hands as her pigtails flew from one side to the other as she needed to look at everything, see all the hotel had to offer. She wouldâve bolted away by then if not for the secure grip you had on her tiny hands.
When you got to the large pool, her eyes lit up like Christmas lights and you had to remind her she had just eaten and didnât have her swimsuit on. The toddler pouted as if what you said was the saddest revelation ever, but when she looked out towards the pool once more, her eyes caught someone she adored and the excitement appeared again.
âUncle Dickie!âÂ
Lian wiggled away from you and your ex in order to run towards one of her beloved uncles.
The other hotel guests looked appalled for a second at the nickname the toddler shouted, but when their eyes followed the little girl, their gaze went from surprise to appreciative. After all, those people were having the privilege of seeing the Dick Grayson in swim trunks. Abs, pecs and arms for their hungry gazes to feast upon. All that paired up with his dazzling white smile as he picked up the happy child made everyone swoon and sigh dreamily.Â
You turned with Roy with a deadpan he snickered at.
âGood morning, lovebirds.â The last flying Grayson greeted them with their daughter in his arms.
âHow have you been up so early? And why are you already swimming? I feel like a tired blob.â You sighed and ran a hand through your hair.
âI have a lot of energy to burn off. If you ever wish to help me-â
âI always thought you make quite the nice practice target, Grayson.â Roy tried to say lightheartedly, but it came out more like a snarl. âI got a bow and the want to test that theory out.â
Dickâs laugh always took up the whole room, and right now in the open it felt like a blanket over those around the pool area. More dreamy sighs could be hard as Royâs scowl deepened.
âNo need to get all defensive, Roy. Itâs just harmless fun.â
Dick winked at you, making the redhead take a step further towards him. Lian looked confused at her fatherâs angry face, and she might not understand the intentions behind the words exchanged, but if she was anything it was daddyâs little girl and she would not tolerate anything that made her dad sad. So, while you put your hand on Royâs chest to not have him let his jealousy take over, Lian had taken it into her hands to give Uncle Dickie a hard time. Or, in other words, she had taken some of his hair strands to pull to not only grab his attention, but to make it clear she wasnât happy.
âUncle Dickie is being bad.â
The three adults froze at the little girlâs frown. Dick had an appalled look and you needed to cover your mouth to muffle your giggles. Roy did not have such decorum. The redhead took his daughter from one of his oldest friendsâ arms and laughed proudly.
âThatâs right, princess. Uncle Dickie is being really bad.â His words made the little girl nod seriously, and the uncle in question placed a hand over his heart at the biggest betrayal he had ever suffered.
âLianâŠâ The blue eyed man tried to plead his case, but the overly proud father cut him off.
âAh-ah, bad uncles donât get to talk to my princess.â
Dick gasped so loud, heads turned to watch the theatrics unfold.
âOkay, okay, cut it off you drama queens.â
You placed yourself in between them.
âWe were just out exploring a bit, so weâll get back to that. If you wanna grab dinner with us later, Dick, youâre invited. Iâll send Wally and the others a message as well.â You said, trying to be diplomatic.
The first sidekick beamed as if his imaginary wounds from Lianâs very serious scolding already healed.
âSure! Is Lian gonna join?â
âWhy the fu-â
âRoy!â
âAhem, sorry. Why the freak wouldnât my daughter join?â
âOh, I thought maybe sheâd stay with the hotel babysitters? Or whatever their name is. Like, the ones that make activities and play with the kids while the parents also explore the hotel on their own. But again, I donât know if they give the kids back to the parents for meals or whatever. I donât have kids as youâre well aware of.â
You and Roy exchanged a look.
âYou two⊠didnât know the hotel had people to play with Lian?â
You slowly turned back to your friend.
âI did. But⊠I guess it just slipped my mind.â
âWell, Lian, do you wanna play with other kids?â The brunette spoke to the girl with a soft smile, and the girl, forgetting she was ever mad at her uncle, nodded happily.
âI wanna play!â She spoke excitedly, making the three of you melt slightly at her happiness.
You talked for a while longer before saying your goodbyes to Dick, promising to have dinner later with him and your friends while Roy grumbled, still slightly pissed, and you two were then on a quest to find the âkidâs roomâ, as the former acrobat described.
The room in question was more of a whole area of the hotel. Colorful, with drawings of children and animals painted on the walls, low and small tables the appropriately sized for the kids so they could color, a stand with books, toys in every corner and surface, and a lot of laughing and talking. Lian was practically vibrating with energy as she took everything in. No doubt she wanted to be put down on the ground to run around and meet the kids that were already there, some of which stared at her in curiosity.
But first, you and Roy talked to the woman that looked to be only a few years older than you two. She handed you the schedule of the day so you would know when and where Lian would be; you gave her your phone number so you would be in contact; Lianâs allergies were listed, and at least the girl could enter the childrenâs playroom.
Your ex followed her movements with rapid attention, certifying that the other kids would be kind to his little girl. She turned to the pair of you with a smile and waved you two goodbye, a clear sign she was happy to be there. You two might have stood there for five minutes or so before leaving the area, and only when you were outdoors Roy spoke again.
âShe didnât even cry.â
You turned to him in disbelief.
âYou wanted her to cry?â
âWhat? No!âÂ
Roy turned to you with wide eyes, hands waving in the air between the two of you as to defend himself if you ever felt the need to punch his guts. Which you did.
âI never want her to cry. You know that. All I ever want is for her to be happy and healthy, but Iâve also seen those videos of toddlers being left in daycare for the first time and how they are sad to be away from their parents, and, not gonna lie, I thought Lian would be the same.â
You slowly nodded. It was true that you had the privilege of spending time with Lian. Roy worked as a teacher, you had your savings as a mercenary, plus you were finally trying to pursue your dream career, even if you would get a few⊠jobs every once in a while when Lian was with Roy. Not that you two ever talked about what you did with the time you werenât with your daughter. In the end, you were looking for schools for Lian. She would turn four faster than you wanted to and the time to drive her down to a school every week day was approaching, yet you did not think much about having to say goodbye like this every single day.
âSheâs growing up.â Your thoughts turned into words.
âDonât say that. I might cry.â
Royâs heartbroken look made you giggle, and you did something you havenât dared do in so long. You took his arm and leaned against him as you two walked together.
âYeah. I think I might cry about it at one point as well. But I think weâve been doing an overall good job when it comes to her. Weâll figure out how we can exist when she is away from us, conquering her space in the world.â
The redhead sighed and his body seemed to lean more into you.
âI donât think I remember how to exist without her.â
Without realizing, the two of you were making your way back to your suite.
âItâs not necessarily âwithoutâ her, itâs justâŠâ
âSheâll be doing her own thing, learning and growing up, and we will be home waiting for her to come back and tell us all about it to celebrate with her, or to help her out?â
He reluctantly let go of you to open the suiteâs door, and you looked at him pensively before getting in.
âYou sound like a good father.â
âExcuse you?â
You laughed loudly, and Royâs annoyed expression soon turned loving when you leaned against him to stabilize yourself from your laughing fit.
âSorry.â You managed to say after a couple minutes, looking up to smile at him.
âItâs just⊠Weâve known each other for a few years now, which feels like a lifetime ago and yesterday⊠And⊠Iâve seen you through a lot. And no matter how many mistakes Iâve made in my life, and how many of them Iâve made in our relationship, I could never regret you or anything weâve been through. I guess what Iâm trying to say is that Iâm happy to share these moments with-â
Roy cut you off with a kiss.
His large hands, calloused from years of yielding a bow and the fate of countless lives, held your cheeks gently, light as a feather, and as full of love as you remembered his touch to be.
And maybe kissing your ex was not a good thing in someoneâs perspective, but this was Roy. Your Roy. Always loving, always kind, always trying to make you and Lian happy. It made you forget the stupid, silly reason you broke things off, because how could the two of you not work when being next to him felt so right?
So you let yourself wrap your arms around him. One of your hands held his shoulder, while the other got lost in his red strands of hair, pulling him to you so you could mold your very existence to him and not dare be separated.
And Roy? He was acting as if you were the very center of his gravity, bending to your every whim, coiling around you. A hand was on your waist, pulling you flush against him as if you would dare pull away at any moment, while the other was at the back of your head, firm and secure, guiding the kiss with the calm expertise of a man that has the done the motion time and again, even if the desperation in the movement of his lips on yours, the refusal to be apart even for a millimeter, told you a different story.
The weight of him on you made you stumble back until your lower back hit something solid, a piece of furniture close to the door made to leave things on it or whatever. In that moment, its sole purpose was to support you as Royâs lips refused to let you go, his hands leaving their previous places to roam over your body, relearning the curves and lines that were part of you.
You tugged at his hair so you could breathe, and the redhead let out a groan that was both an invitation to keep pulling at his hair as much as it was to showcase his displeasure at parting from you. Not that he stayed away for long as he soon dove towards your neck, nipping on the skin.
Your head leaned back on the wall at the feeling of his teeth gently dragging across your skin before he placed his lips on it once more, sucking a hickey you would undoubtedly complain about when you came back to your senses.Â
Nothing seemed to be truly enough, even as he placed you on top of the furniture, your legs wrapping around his waist, pulling him to you. His large hands caressed your thighs appreciatively before making their way to your ass. Even so it was Roy that let out a groan, as if groping at the fat of your body shot pleasure through him, as if the axes of the world fell back in its place with the way he could grind against you, creating a delicious friction between two bodies that missed each other.
âRoyâŠâ Your voice was airy and pleading. There was too much in the way, you couldnât feel enough of him.
Hearing your call, something switched inside your ex-boyfriend. His actions were more desperate than deliberate, muscle memory born from countless nights (and even days) when you would get lost in each other. It felt like the need to memorize the feeling of you overpowered everything else. But the call of his name made his focus switch. It went from feeling good by being pressed against you to realize it wasnât enough. He needed more.Â
He wanted to hear his name in every variation, needy, breathless, desperate, at the top of your lungs so the whole world could know you were his. In hopes screaming it enough would remind you of that fact as well.Â
And above it all, he needed to remember the feeling that haunted his every waking hour with its absence, and chased him in his dreams as a prize dangling above his head taunting the reality where it was far away. He needed to feel you surrounding him, the way your gummy walls would grip onto him and refuse to let him go, as if he would ever want to be anywhere else but inside that greedy, sloppy, utterly perfect pussy.
Yeah. Your clothes were annoying him to no end.
In a blur of movements, he pulled your shirt off right as you were about to pull at his. You had to stop your movements in order to raise your arms, making him do the same right after. His hands didnât stay away for long, in truth, not even the last son of Krypton could tear Roy Harper from you at that moment.Â
Experienced hands ran across your body, mapping out the constellations of birth marks and scars drawn on your skin. Your back automatically arched towards him the same way a compass points North, and your own hands had a mind of their own, tracing over the planes of his muscles. The gasp that fled from your parted lips as he unhooked your bra was not of surprise, but of expectation, the anticipation of his lips descending to your mounds as his fingers dug into the softness of your bosom.
âGod, Iâve missed my girls.â
âAh⊠Are you⊠Are you referring to my breasts as⊠your girls?âÂ
You tried to make your voice come out steady, you truly did. But Roy was sucking your skin into his mouth, running his tongue over your nipple as his hand gave the other the same caring attention, as if one mound could get jealous of the other.
âThey are, arenât they?â Even when he pulled back, he did not tear his attention from your breasts. His eyes followed the way they fit in his hands, perfectly molded to be held by him, to be squeezed and bitten. And when he did just as he wanted, you mewled in pleasure.
âAnd oh how I love them.â He mumbled, lips brushing against the top of your breasts in a way that wove his words into your atoms, for your skin more than they were for your ears.
âBut I think my attention is needed somewhere else as well, donât you agree?â
His lips kept making their way upwards, brushing back against the marks he left on your neck, gently caressing your jaw, until he was whispering by your temple.
Your mind was torn. A part of it was aware of the path his lips recreated. The larger part was hypnotized by the slow descent of Royâs dominant hand to your shorts, dragging down the zipper while his eyes were on yours.
You always loved his eyes. They reminded you of emeralds. Not the ones cut into jewelry, reshaped in a smooth, unnatural way, but the uncut type. His eyes had always been raw and truthful, holding a kaleidoscope of feelings heâd always so freely expressed with witty remarks, or whispers in the dark. You could, very cheesily, get lost in them. But, you thought to yourself, they were the most magnetic when his lust swallowed their color whole, when he looked at you like you were the precious jewel he would hoard away from the world for only his emerald eyes to admire.
And maybe your mind was even more scattered than you thought previously. And maybe you would be ashamed of it in any other circumstance. Because, yes, you had been aware of his lips, of his hands, of the way he had pulled back to look at you, and then your mind had focused on that look and your senses, divided and dispersed, had decided to pay rapid attention to that dark desire that swallowed the green in his eyes as greedily as his hands held onto you, and your body melted against him for a moment.
One moment filled with an unspoken certainty you were where you belonged. A short lived moment in fact, as you were left to snap back to attention. The sharp adrenaline taking up your body as the rough pads of his fingers made contact with your clothed core.
Your mouth fell into a surprised O shape. His hands were already inside your shorts? Apparently so as they applied only a fraction of pressure against your covered lips.
âOh, honey.â Roy cooed.
âIs this all for me?âÂ
You nodded immediately, on instinct, because who else would you be wet for?
âMy, my⊠Your panties are soaked, honey.â The archerâs tone was cocky, you could feel his smirk on the skin of your neck as he bent down to kiss it some more. It made you let out an annoyed huff that was almost accompanied by a whine.
âDonât stall.â
âAhâŠâ He said disapprovingly, pressing the pad of his fingers harder against your lips. This time you did let out a whine.
âYou made me wait so long to have you like this again, honey⊠And you are the one acting all impatient now?â Roy made a disapproving sound. Not that you were paying much attention, really, you were just trying to grind down on his fingers to get some more friction from him.
Which made the moment he pulled his touch away from you feel even more of a betrayal. The sound you let out was pathetic at best, akin to a wounded animal in disbelief the only solace it had was being ripped away. The absence of Royâs warmth made you realize you had closed your eyes at some point. Trying to protest, you sat up straighter, a bit away from the wall, to voice your displeasure only to be met with his all consuming gaze before you let out a yelp of surprise.Â
The redhead, in a combined show of years of training and strength, picked you up like you weighed nothing. And given the fact youâve seen him pulling Jason Todd around, you knew that to him it felt like you didnât.Â
For a moment, your world spun around. Then it set back in its axes as you were gently placed down, feeling the change from the hard wood to the comfortable plush of the couch, watching Roy in close attention as he pulled down the last piece of garment keeping what he wanted away from him.
You let out a silent thank you to the interior designers of this hotel for choosing such a comfortable couch at the perfect level for a 5â11â to kneel down at your feet and place your legs over his shoulders.Â
Each kiss placed on the skin of your thighs felt like devotion. Roy was going slow, placing his lips on you with care, his eyes closed as praying, thanking one deity at a time with each kiss he gave you, like he was blessed for having the opportunity to touch you. It left you breathless not because it was something demanding, but because it was soft and true, and it made your heart beat with adrenaline unlike when you chased a mark, the kind that made you want to rush home to feel this all over again.
Your lips parted, perhaps to let out a soft pleased sound, perhaps to admit the truths written with the beats of your heart. But you never got the chance to let your brain catch up to your feelings as the man before you finally had his dreams come true as he placed his mouth on you.
Your legs closed around his head in surprise, although Roy didnât seem to mind. In fact, he wasnât paying attention to anything else besides subduing the thirst he felt.Â
There are many forms of desire, and the one that Roy Harper felt for you was all consuming, born in the marrow of his bones and taken through his bloodstream, burning in his veins, setting his heart on fire. And the only relief he could ever find was in the sweet nectar of your cunt.
âHungryâ didnât even begin to encompass the way his mouth moved against you. Desperate, messy, his tongue lapped on your folds letting out pleasured groans as if eating you out gave him more pleasure than it did you, which did not make sense when your brain was miles away from that hotel suite, up in the cosmos and you were certain you found the answer to an intergalactic equation.Â
Once you may have been whole, but you always fell apart at the seams with the way Roy worked on you. Especially when heâd place his hands on you, feeling up your legs in reverence before his hands made their way up to your ass. The motion surprises you enough to make your hips buckle against his face, a hand giving in into the red temptation of his locks and pulling at the fiery strands of hair.
And if Roy had any say in how he would part from this world, heâd choose to die between your legs anytime.
The beautiful melodies of pleasure you sang in his name had him twitching inside his shorts, the pressure of the zipper against him giving him some friction, paired with the delicious taste of you, it had him grinding on air subconsciously in the same way heâd done when he was but an inexperienced guy giving head for the first time. Not that he cared, or noticed, the world started with your pussy and ended at your moans.
It was a lot and not close to being enough.
Ultimately, Roy let go of your cheeks to bring his hand back to your entrance, teasing its opening in slow motions that made your breath hitch.
His finger had barely pressed against your lips as they easily breached past it, finding itself surrounded by the greediest hole in existence because how else could he describe the way your pussy hungrily greeted him? A siren call, swallowing his digit whole.
You whimpered, hips buckling once more, as he started moving his finger in tandem inside you, unhurriedly, mapping out your insides by touch alone. Soon he knew one digit would not be enough, so he promptly added another, eagerly massaging your gummy walls in places that felt unattended for so long.Â
God bless archery and the long fingers of Roy William Harper Jr., responsible for the delicious waves of pleasure that you could call the best orgasm youâve had in months.
And where one would find their breath, yours was still out of reach as said man felt resistant to the idea of parting from your sweet temptation.
âRoyâŠâ You whined. âToo muchâŠâ
But the man was deaf to the world until he made sure the very last of your essence was savored, and you were left to whine and moan in mock protest.
When he finally gave you lenience, parting from your core, your next orgasm was already on the horizon, but you welcomed the small break, taking the time to look upon the man that had once stolen your heart completely.
Your chest rose and fell as you finally figured out how to get air inside your lungs again only for it to get stolen from you again.
Roy was a handsome man any day of the week, and very often you had found yourself silently swooning over him in your time together. But your favorite view has undoubtedly always been the one before you when his hair is disheveled, eyes like the starless sea drowning in desire, and his lips smeared in the evidence of how his actions could render you speechless and in a puddle of your own arousal. He was always beautiful on his knees for you.
The two of you stayed like that for a few heartbeats, admiring the other until it wasnât enough anymore.
You donât remember who moved first, what you did know was that you ended in Royâs arms once more, getting a taste of you from his lips while he carried you away once more. Your legs had found themselves around his waist, your arms around his shoulders as your hands explored anything you could reach, from the hard planes of his back, to the soft feeling of his hair in between your fingers. The hotel bed couldnât be farther away as it felt to be in that moment.
Once youâve reached the plushness of sheets that surely cost a month's worth of your salary, your hands made their descent from Royâs shoulders to his navel, fiddling with his zipper, humming appreciatively when ghosting past his abs.
The archer was also growing impatient, burning with a need only you could satiate, also brought his hands to the front of his shorts. The impatience you both displayed caused the simple act of taking his shorts off to feel alien and clumsy, making you two giggle.
âGosh.. What are we? Teenagers?â You said in between giggles.
âJust two very eager adults perhaps.â Roy answered with an easy smile that made one of the corners of his lip quip higher than the other.
Your laugh was genuine and crystalline at his comment, easy and contemptuous. Your eyes closed as you did in a way which would leave you to never know how Roy looked at you as if you had painted the stars in the sky yourself, and he could only consider himself honored to bask in their light. Your light.
The sound of the zipper was what brought you back into the moment. Your lips still curved in a smile as a hand rose to caress his cheek. The atmosphere was still woven in desire, but it also had the colors of the soft and truthful feeling you both shared.
Roy kept his eyes on you as he finished undressing, and you felt no need to look away from his eyes at the moment, not until you felt the press of him against you. It was a warm reminder of two things. The first being that he was big, deliciously so. And the second was that it had been a while since youâve had sex.
You looked down between your bodies, your eyes tracing every scar that marred what was once smooth skin, scanning with utter adoration the lines of his muscles, until your gaze landed on the very reason you accidentally became parents.
In truth Roy could be considered average in length, only long enough to reach further than your fingers and right into that sweet spot inside you. The man was made to hit bullseye.
But what made the whole joyride worth the while was the girth of him. Big enough you couldnât close your finger around him, and the reminiscences of the night before could be felt on the light soreness of your jaw the following morning. Now, the stretch⊠You swore you saw stars every time. And with the way his tip was reddened, already leaking precum, your insides fluttered at the thought he would not last long.Â
âHas it been anyone?â
âMhm?â You hummed distracted, trying to tear your eyes away from his cock.
âAfter we broke up. Has it been anyone else?â
You blinked your eyes a couple of times before your eyebrows furrowed, displeased.
âIâve had to find a stable job to take care of Lian, and yes-â You interrupted him when he opened his mouth to protest.
âYou are stellar, an amazing dad that helps around and buys her everything she needs. But she was staying with me full time, so besides having to take care of her I had to buy daily stuff for me and her. Find a job that would not get me killed that easily, or away from her for too long, since, and with all due respect, your teacher salary is helpful but not a miracle.â
You crossed your arms, an action that immediately brought Royâs attention down to your breasts.
âWhere the fuck would I get the time to get laid?â
âOh, thank God.â
âExcuse you?â
Holding the base of his cock, your infuriating ex pressed himself against you. Shifting his hips with a small groan, he gathered your slickness on his member, and you bit your lower lip to hold back a sound.
âI dreamed of this pussy⊠Always so good to me, so needy⊠Always ready too. So wet and perfect every time⊠Made for me.â
His voice was airy and soft. The words tumbling past his lips felt sincere, but not made for your ears. Something he said without thought. Or after too much thought.
âSpent nights awake thinking if anyone was touching you⊠Making you forget for even a second that Iâm the only one that can make you feel this good.â
He pressed the head of his cock against your entrance, and your jaw went slack. It had been a while since you had done this. Since you had done it with him.
You took deep breaths as he slowly pressed into you, breaching past your entrance until the tip was inside. It was an herculean effort from both parts. You, trying to get used to being stretched like this again, and him, who felt himself salivating at the way you wrapped so perfectly around him, warm and soft. He wanted nothing more to push inside you, be completely surrounded by your perfect, perfect body, and make you cry out for him.
Roy pressed some loving kisses on the side of your head as he slowly rocked his hips against yours, moving in an inch at the time with each motion.
You let out breathless gasps and tiny moans at his movements.
âYou feel how she squeezes around me, babe?â Roy groaned. âShe missed me.â
When he finally bottomed out, you let out a whimper, legs wrapping around his waist and arms thrown over his shoulders. Roy, in exchange, had his hands on your hips, holding you in place as he moved hard and deep inside you, even if his pace was still slow, taking his time to feel you entirely once again; just as you could feel every vein of his dragging over your walls.
âRoyâŠâ You called his name in a breathless needy tone, hands finding his hair as they so easily did, tugging at the strands.
âThatâs it, honey. Call my name just like that. Let me hear youâŠâ
You felt Royâs breath on your neck for a second as a warning to the kisses and bites he would litter over your skin. Something you werenât paying much attention to, as he started to move faster inside you.
Your moans got louder as he drove harder and faster into you, the burning on your inner thighs adding to the pleasure of the moment and you couldnât resist the temptation of digging your nails in between the constellation of his freckled shoulders.
âFuck Roy⊠Ngh⊠So goodâŠâ
âYeah?â His breath hit your ear heavy and short. Your response was another moan of his name accompanied by the arching of your back.
Roy took the opportunity to wrap his arms around the opening you created between the bed and your body, burying his head on your chest to kiss and nip at your skin. You could feel his movements growing frantic, chasing his high. You had a feeling he wouldnât last long. Maybe it was a sign that he too hasn't done this in a while. The thought made something bloom in your chest. And your uterus.Â
Because Roy soon found his release inside you, his warm cum shot inside you with no warning as his hips staggered against yours. And maybe it was due to your earlier orgasm. Maybe it was the long nights without someoneâs warmth next to yours. But the feeling of his release flooding you was too much, and with a cry of his name, you too found your climax.
Your head lolled back, mouth agape welcoming any air that breezed by, and head lighter than it has been in so long. It felt like swimming through a fluffy cloud of happiness, weighting absolutely nothing, forever staying in that place with a heaving chest, arms sprawled next to you and raising legs⊠Raising legs?
Your head shot up to look at the cockiest redhead on earthy apparently, because said man had this smug, content look in his face, with a gleam in his eyes that reminded you of summer days, and a smirk that made you want to slap his face and pull him into a kiss.
âWhat⊠are you d-doing?â You really hated the way you were slightly out of breath. Your stamina was better than this! Was the adrenaline of being with Roy making you short circuit in such an embarrassing way?
âYou think that was enough?â
His large palms had taken hold of the back of your thighs and were pushing them up to your chest, effectively folding your bewildered self in half.
âYouâŠâ
Him. Pressing against you once more. Almost fully erected.
âFuck, HarperâŠâ You whined. âCanât you give me a minute?â
âIf you really need it.â He said in such a nonchalant way someone passing by would think you asked him if you could have his jacket in a cold evening.
âBut look at her.â This time his voice was filled with amazement, looking down at your pussy as he ground against it. Her. Argh, how pathetic was it for him to talk to your cunt as if it was an entity to be worshiped? And how pathetic of you it was to get even more turned on as you felt the desperation on the rolls of his hips, making a soft squelching sound from the evidence of his need, his cum mixing with your own arousal.
âSheâs so hungry⊠She wants more. Look at her! Ah⊠So messy, slobbering on my cock like this.â
âFuck, Roy! Shut upâŠâ You whined.
âWhy? You wanna hear what she has to say? Letâs hear it.â
What you did hear was that embarrassing squelching sound that made your ears turn red. At least Roy had his eyes focused solely on your sloppy lips to truly notice.
âWhat do you think she wants?â
âYour cockâŠâ You said under your battered breath.
âWhat was it, honey?â
âI want your cock.â You mewled, eyes closing.
Roy wouldnât have it. He let go of one of your thighs, letting it fall to his shoulder as he drew closer to your face, choosing to hold your jaw instead, making you open your eyes (and your mouth) to greet him.
âI would never deny you anything you want, honey.â His voice was as sweet as the nickname he so easily gave you, mouth opening to press against yours like a missing puzzle piece.
And you wouldâve thanked him, perhaps, if it werenât for his cock parting you open once more.
It was easier this time. Not only were you still needy for him, but you were also stuffed with his cum, glistening with the reminiscent of your. He slid right in. And the new position made every nerve of your body come alight.Â
âAnd I wonât stop until weâre both satisfied.â

It may be that not every relationship works out. Or one of the parts just doesnât need to tell his father figure they were broken up so they can share a room with one bed and find a way to make up. Preferably by going round after round, until coherent words turn into a blend of sounds and your mind is too far gone leading you two to admit to still being in love. And maybe filling your darling girlfriend (because she is his girlfriend again) over and over, getting hypnotized by the way your cum runs down her fluttering entrance is the true moral of the story.

The two of you went to pick up Lian before dinner time (and after placing all the make up powder and color corrector you had on every hickey you discovered on your neck and cleavage). Roy had a smile you were sure would give his facial muscles a cramp the whole walk to the Kidâs Club, and it only softened at the sight of your very adorable child.
When she saw the pair of you, your daughter ran up to you with a bright and excited smile, immediately launching on a story of how her day went, all the adventures sheâs been to around the hotel area and all the friends she made.
âYour new friends were nice to you, princess?âÂ
Roy asked in a kind and sweet way you knew hid a silent threat if there was a single soul that was anything but nice to his little princess. You shot him a glare that said âDonât you dare try to fight a three to five year old again, Harperâ, to which he shrugged.
âYes!â Lian answered loudly and happily, a skip in her step.
âPlaying is nice.â
Roy nodded at her to show he was hanging on every word of hers, which you were sure he was.
âI like playing with mommy and daddy, and uncle Jason, and uncle Dickie, and Grandpa Ollie, and everyone.â
You patted her head with a smile hearing her be so happy and passionate about playing, but her unexpected comment next made you freeze.
âBut you're not kids. So I want a baby sister.â
Sensing you and Roy had stopped in your tracks, Lian turned around to look up at the two of you.
âCan I get one? It can be my birthday giftâŠâ
You thought that, in that moment, you knew exactly how a fish stranded on the surface felt. And maybe your sweet child took your shocked expression as a refusal because she tried to plead her case further.
âIt can be a baby brother. Or just a baby. Any baby. A human baby? I think cats are cool, too, but I donât think a baby cat would want to play princesses and assassins with meâŠâ She pouted pleadingly, her doe eyes reflecting the sunset lights as time ran from your fingertips.
âIâŠâ You tried to catch the words that so stubbornly ran away from you. In the end, Roy beat you to it, crouching down to Lianâs level and pinching her cheek affectionately, making her giggle.
âYou know daddy would give you the world, right, kid?â
Lianâs smile widened.
âSo I can get a baby sister?â
Roy chuckled.
âDaddy will make sure youâll be a big sister alright, kiddo.â
As Lian skipped ahead, happily going on about pretty names for her future sister. You followed after her in a daze.
It was the feeling of a shiver running down your spine that made you look to the side. Years of training to be lethal, plus your time as a mercenary chasing down a variety of targets, made your instincts preen at any danger. Or in this case, the predatory look in Royâs eyes.
Needless to say, the hotelâs Kidâs Club made every member of your family happy, with great activities for the kids, and plenty of alone time for the parents.
A/N: Pretend the 3 year oldâs vocabulary is compatible with her age because as I was writing I was like mhmmm maybe this is how a 3y/o would sound, maybe not. I am clearly not a parent that is constantly around a toddler. Sorry. I hope I wrote Roy, Lian and their dynamic in a good way.Â
When the book became a phenomenon, for some reason, I did not find myself interested in reading it. My mother and cousin did, in fact, they spend a whole vacation reading and talking about it to each other - and it was nice seeing them bond over a book.
Years later and now the TV show is out. I don't have any particular reason for having wanted to watch it, but I did, and I had no idea what I was getting into.
I'd like to start this review by saying that there were things I liked and things I disliked about the show, but that my overall rating would be a 3,5/5.
At first, the filmography annoyed me a bit, there were one too many close ups, and while I understand it was from Cady's point of view and she might have been getting attached to the details or focusing on, let's say, Gat's mouth a lot, as a viewer it bothered me. But soon I either got used to it or it stopped happening because I no longer noticed it happening as the episodes went by.
The romance between Cady and Gat was sweet as the troupe of childhood friends to lovers. Although the social critics were... okay. Nothing out of the ordinary, it did feel like an entitled young woman with too much privilege was seeing the world for the first time. In a way, it reminded me of Barbie (2023) explaining feminism to a doll - it made sense in the universe, but to us viewers it might have felt shallow at times.
I've seen a post on TikTok about how the series gave more depth to Johnny and Mirren, since in the books it felt like they were only Cady's cousins and Liars. And that took some of my desire to read the books now because they were my favorite characters on the show.
Johnny specially.
He was incredibly flawed, and he seemed to recognize that. But I also saw him as a bleeding heart. He felt too much and didn't know what to do with such big feelings. Of course I condemn his actions, he was in the wrong, and that also is part of the character and the narrative, to not be a good person, to resist change, and to only show the 'need' to change when it backlashes on the people he cares about (his mother, for example).
I also think that, in the end, he was a good cousin and brother. He was not perfect, as none of them were and the whole point is to show how rotten each of them are, but he was good. Ultimately he cared and loved his little brother, his mother and his cousins (and I include Gat here because Gat was Ed's nephew and therefore Johnny's cousin). The fact that he died calling his cousins' names broke me.
Johnny was the character that burned the brightest, in his anger, in his love and in his death. Mirren might've been able to have jumped from the window, and Gat could've waited some more, but Johnny was always destined to burn.
Mirren was another favorite of mine. I do believe she embodies the essence of teenage years, the need to be perfect, the need to be curious, defying rules and expectations, being awkward, feeling invisible, and falling in love with chaos, with summer time, with someone else.
She was sweet, she was also selfish and selfless, she wanted and she gave. I think she was the most sensitive of the Liars, she was always in tune to everyone else to tune herself to them and their expectations, she was a good listener and she was brash in the way she wanted to be heard.
In the end, when her art is displayed, it did hurt seeing she still was a background to some. But the presence of Ebon, to me, showed that the people she cared about saw her, and I don't doubt there would be other that would understand her art as well.
Now, talking about Gat... What a beautiful soul.
I honestly don't know how to add much to him. Seeing him through Cady's eyes made him perfect, even if he had committed mistakes, and even if it limited the vision we had of him, after all, like his mother pointed, he had a version of himself built to fit in Beechwood.
Every single interaction (or anything that had to do with) Harris made my blood boil. Of course, Harris was the representation of bigoted opinions that should have been eradicated at this day and age, but that somehow still exists and it can be in the midst of people we care and live with.
Gat seemed to be the ideal of love, constant and sweet, he'd follow Cady anywhere (since the beginning) and would even revolve around her. Yes, Ed had pointed out that he was still young and had all the time in the world to make good and bad decisions and change his mind when needed, but all we saw of him was that he had a fiery spirit that longed for changed in the island nothing changed, and that he loved Cady.
I do think she had started seeing him completely, understanding who he was and how he existed away from Beechwood. But their bond was cut short. Their last conversation was one of the ones that made me cry the most. The way they talked about a better world, where things wouldn't be perfect, but it would be filled with love.
Seeing it all from Cady's view was incredible. It left me annoyed at times, yes, but it also made me surprised. Following her as an unreliable narrator made Beechwood in the past seem like a true fairy tale land, only for it to be so flawed and broken, and ultimately cold in the present. She showed the best and worst of everyone.
The moms had also been some favorites of mine. Their talks so defensive between themselves, they were clearly so hurt and alone. They truly needed to be loved and heard but didn't know how to.
My favorite relationship was Cassie and Ed. While she tried her best, but was ultimately a Sinclair, practical when needed, disregarding the emotional side of things at times, she was kind. And Ed, much like Gat, was love. He was patient and sweet, doing his best to please, but trying to be as honest to himself as he could in a very controlled place.
Two things left me feeling kind of... mhmm.
The first one being Tipper.
She was treated as the perfect woman, the ideal her daughters wanted to follow, and the Liars spoke of her as an emotional woman. And perhaps, next to Harris, she was emotional. Yet all we saw from her was practical and cold. Decision making in the face of a death she definitely knew was growing closer. And the whole 'chin up, shoulders back' bit. Yes, she cared about her family, but she too perpetuated the cold, distant, cruel ideal that the Sinclairs had.
The other thing was that the time frame wasn't clear to me. I remember that something Cady said made me come to the conclusion that the year and her age were the same (e.g.: in 2016 she was 16 and that is why it was called Summer 16, because both her and the year were 16). But they made references to things that were posterior to 2016, so I might have gotten that wrong.
In the final episode, when everything became clear, I admit to thinking 'oh... the dogs... That is sad, but I thought it'd worst.' Apparently I had spoken too soon. From the moment she talked to Harris on the beach and he gifted her the pearls, I had not stopped crying.
Being someone that is an only child and grew up with her cousins being the oldest, seeing the way they were close to Cady and how they all agreed with her, because like it or not being the oldest is having the younger cousins listening to you as much as it is being responsible for them. One of my biggest fears has always been losing my cousins who are like siblings and friends, so my heart broke with Cady.
The world has been taken over by K-pop Demon Hunters and I'm not complaining. And while I did like the movie, I must say I wanted more of the Saja Boys.
I do understand that a movie has a limited time frame and it can't focus on every character, story arc or create many plots, but I do think they at least deserved a few interactions with each other.
On a more positive note, I loved how they were a criticizing the K-pop stereotypes by limiting who each of them were to a troupe based on looks or vibes. And truly that is all we know of them, Abby is handsome and has abs, Mystery is mysterious, Romance seems to be more 'in tune' with feelings, and Baby is my favorite since he is clearly a grown 'man' that is indifferent to things yet is mostly seen doing aegyo.
I'll finish this little rant by saying that I also enjoy the theory that they have become nameless because they have spent so much time in the demon realm they have forgotten of their past life. In a way, it seems like Jinu gave them one last chance to have a purpose as humans, and maybe the way they are reflected something of the past they forgot.
I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts of them as well!
