Never thought I would say it but cutting dairy is the best move I think I’ve ever made. This is like 4 days progress?!?!! Absolutely nothing else has had this effect so promptly.
Healing and Recovery
This is only temporary.
I will not suffer forever.
I am strong.
I have worth and value.
I am not useless; I am ill.
I am not defined by my struggles.
My body is designed to heal.
Time is my friend.
I have come so far.
It is okay to cry.
I am not alone.
"Why Don't You Stop Scratching?"
Scratching didn’t cause my eczema.
Eczema causes scratching.
Shut up.
Eat Clean!
Everybody, especially my mom, keeps pressuring me to use hydrocortisone. I need to punch a wall or something.
Hives
Yep, the title says it all. All over my neck and chest and it won't go away and I'm just like ahhhh, stop it. I slathered coconut oil ALL over myself and that seemed to soothe it, but it's going to be tricky when I go to school tomorrow. I love nature but nature doesn't seem to love me back. My results from skin testing was that I'm allergic to about every single type of pollen there is as well as mold. Funny story: my whole school is moldy. But I'm not allergic to any food, but with eczema it's still best if I avoid dairies, soy, and meats. Xo

It’s funny how millions and millions of people have eczema yet I have yet to find someone who I can share the struggle with. But surviving on your own makes you independent and strong, especially when you overcome a flare up. Best feeling ever. It’s just kind of lonely.
i hate when ppl are actually really prepared for a test. Like, who do u think you are? Someone who actually has their life together? that is not acceptable
Flare ups. Fire ups. Everywhere It's stress. I know it. Everyone's like: What college are going to? What are you majoring in? What did you get on your sats? And also: OMG Is your neck okay? Why is your skin so red? Is the....dry skin...? Why do have all this white stuff all over you? I told one of my best friend that it was really bad eczema and she's like, "I have it, too. I put on hydrocortisone. It really helps!!" ... ...... Breathe in. Breathe out.
Eczema
The world: “Just put more lotion on.”
