One of the many delicious salads Ive been having for lunch. Its only 1 simple change but its put me back on the path to losing weight.
Stop comparing where you’re at with where everyone else is. It doesn’t move you farther ahead, improve your situation, or help you find peace. It just feeds your shame, fuels your feelings of inadequacy, and ultimately, it keeps you stuck. The reality is that there is no one correct path in life. Everyone has their own unique journey. A path that’s right for someone else won’t necessarily be a path that’s right for you. And that’s okay. Your journey isn’t right or wrong, or good or bad. It’s just different. Your life isn’t meant to look like anyone else’s because you aren’t like anyone else. You’re a person all your own with a unique set of goals, obstacles, dreams, and needs. So stop comparing, and start living.

Are you supposed to eat back the calories you burn?
Idk I’m pretty sure I do. But that’s not what exercise is about. Exercising is about getting strong and more physically fit. Not about burning calories
Amen to that, exercise for strength!
Urges
So yesterday I had a big old urge to binge and it was all my trigger settings and instead I chose to have a cookie and some juice and I removed myself from the situation and frankly, I know no one is reading this but I wanted to say, I'm proud of myself. I may not be as physically fit as I used to be but mentally I am in the best place right now.
Sometimes I drink too much vodka or eat 3 servings of macaroni and cheese in one sitting, but by far the most unhealthy habit I have is comparing myself to others.
This is one of my favorite things I’ve ever read on tumblr
I used to be a binge eater and if anyone is struggling with this I would be more than happy to help!
All good advice, the bottom bits of advice I 100% recommend as well!
breakfast today: vanilla oats topped with banana, almonds, puffed amaranth, frozen raspberries and light agave :)
