for those people who say “but it was a concert” when people say bad things about sam barks’ acting at the 25th, just because it’s a concert and they’re standing still doesn’t mean one can’t bother acting, interacting, or looking at each other. it wasn’t just a group of singers singing the songs of les mis; it was an actual performance and the acting required in the queen’s should have been the same for the o2 performance.

omg leave samantha alone. saw her live at the queens and she was AMAZING. don't judge unless you've seen her live.

i don’t think samantha barks was a good éponine. sure, she had a hell of a voice, but her acting was very weak and her éponine didn’t mean anything to me, especially in the plumet attack, where she just flits around — unlike nancy sullivan, who was terrifying there and brilliant altogether. it hurts when fans think of her as the ultimate éponine just because she played the role at the o2.

This is ridiculous. It was a CONCERT. Samantha is an AMAZING actress...unless you've seen her at the Queens, you don't have any right to judge! Why do you think they chose Sam instead of Nancy?
