"we detected a mature post" yeah I'm in my 30s
I'm gonna say it, I do think that even the laziest person imaginable should have a roof over their head, food in their stomach, and access to healthcare

cats always step precisely on your most sensitive areas when theyre crawling on you lovingly for cuddles. bladder dick ovaries boobs stomach bruise it doesnt matter. they have homing devices on their paws for the exact area you’re most tender at the moment and they put their full weight into that step. and sometimes they might keep their stance midstride so theyre just standing there forever forcing you to endure the pain. because they are simply too cute to get mad at
The world is violent and mercurial — it will have its way with you. We are saved only by love — love for each other and the love that we pour into the art we feel compelled to share: being a parent; being a writer; being a painter; being a friend. We live in a perpetually burning building, and what we must save from it, all the time, is love.

Ohhhhhhhmygoddd
We have a family wedding today and my sister, who is thirty fucking three years old, is making my mom do her hair. They’ve been at it the past two and a half hours. It’s a full blown like curl her whole head, teasing, braids, etc.
And I’m sorry but girl this day is not for you. Not a single person there is going to be looking at you. Not one. And if they are? Cool. You have a partner and a kid. Who are you even trying to impress??????
And I understand all of this stems from her incredible sense of insecurity, but, I’m sorry, hot take, but there comes to a point where it just becomes selfish. She’s inconveniencing my mom. She’s being rude, snippy, and demanding about the whole thing. And it sends the message that she is the important one of the day, which she is not.
Idk, she’s my sister and she just gets under my skin and I can recognize that.
But for the love of fucking god, this isn’t prom. Grow up.
Grandmas were so right about puzzles and knitting and crocheting and solitaire and reading slow and slippers and baking and watching deer in the backyard send post
