Introducing #tagteamsupport

Hi Kayo here, head of Security at International Rescue and I want you to know I’m really on to this hate message/bullying crap! We’re sorry you’re getting this kind of stuff, I’m hoping to bring some easy solutions, instant answers and great support - no one here has to suffer again!

And to those who are perpetrating this hate, I’ve been asked to be head of security for the new Tag/Tos Support Team, a task I am seriously pleased to take on - so be warned.

Firstly, I started by contacting Tumblr, their whole ethos is that the site should be a friendly and safe place for exchange of your artwork, stories, photos and view.

I wasn’t aware of this until now but

APPARENTLY NO ONE IS NAMELESS! UNLIKE FACEBOOK, ON TUMBLR ALL ANNONS CAN BE NAMED IF NECESSARY!!!! Ha!

So if you have a reasonable criticism, or better still just a nice comment, you might as well put your own damned name to it, own up to it, take responsibility for it. Otherwise you become the worthless shit we suspect you are and can then be totally ignored.

AND SO TO THE SUPPORT;

There has been a flurry of support from the tag team, I’m busy contacting those that offered to be supporters, I want to be sure that they are okay for me to publicly list them as the support team.

If you’re not coping with hate stuff and need a little help then contact one of the support team directly or post on your own blog with #tagteamsupport and someone will be there to help out. Sometimes it only takes someone else listening and offering solutions, to have the confidence to continue

Meanwhiles, there is apparently a very simple solution if things get bad.

IN YOUR SETTINGS - UNDER ASK - YOU CAN UNCLICK ALLOW ANNONYMOUS QUESTIONS

You can always allow it again later, once things have calmed down a little!

So hopefully that’s a great start to the new #tagteamsupport, let me know if you can think of anything to add and keep in touch if you get into troubles.
