*You see a younger version of yourself -- well, that is, a younger version of good-Sky. But he looks... Off. His expression is completely blank, and his sailcloth is pulled to cover his left arm. This reveals a considerable sized bloodstain on the back of his tunic. He has no hat on, either. A piece of hair in the front is cut short.
*He has his back to you, and seems to be distracted by something. You can't sense his Fi anywhere, despite him having the Goddess Sword on his back. She's not in the sword, nor anywhere in the surrounding area.
@knight-in-training-sky
Evil Sky raises a brow at the sight. "How weird." He thought to himself. He was just on his midnight run. Which he does often, nightly, actually (he was a very consistent man), due to his high lung capacity and passion for running long distances. Slowly, he approaches from behind, giving his younger Good counterpart a tap on the shoulder.
"Hey, you. You have a huge bloodstain on your tunic. I'd work on fixing that, it might ruin the fabric." He said. "And where's your Fi?" If he was younger, surely she was still around. None of this made much sense. And it was interrupting his nightly run.
*He pauses, turning to look at you.
*…His left hand, and about half his forearm, are simply gone. A decide from Wild’s era sits on his arm, his hand poised above it, he’d been looking at it. His expression is blank — it’s almost eery.
*A holographic keyboard pops up from the bracelet device, and he types on it.
I don’t care if the tunic gets ruined. It’s already gotten a lot of stains and holes in it.
She’s unconscious. We both got poisoned, she took the hit for me and hasn’t woken up yet. I got lucky.
*He doesn’t mention why he isn’t speaking.
Evil Sky frowns at the information.
This was not how he had expected his nightly run to go.
"Oh Evilness... poisoned how exactly? And by whom?" He asked.
Stabbed. An anon hugged me and literally stabbed me in the back, and Fi was stabbed by who I think was an Evil Wild.
*He pulls out a small notebook, flipping to the back and adding a third Evil Sky to the list of ‘Links’. There’s also a list titled ‘Adventure’ and one titled ‘Other’. In the corner it says ‘Family’ with an arrow pointing to the next page.
*Evil Groose is one of the first names on the ‘Other’ list, with a star next to his name.
"...Hm..." Evil Sky hummed. "That's definitely a predicament you've found yourself in."
"Also why do you have my husband on a list?"
*He pauses, staring at nothing for a moment before sighing and drawing a wonky line connecting the two names. There’s a few of those, most labeled ‘married’. Then he tucks the notebook under his shoulder and types again.
Because he’s a very cool person and I like hanging out with him. Those lists just keep track of the people I’ve met. I’m Birdie, by the way. That’s my nickname. My Fi’s nickname is Starshine, because we keep meeting other versions of her too.
"Oh, that checks out. Groose is a very cool person." Evil Sky replies. "Evil to meet you, Birdie."
*He nods in agreement. Then he pauses, before typing something else.
Have you made him a new hairclip? He gave me the one he had.
"He- what? Why'd he give you his hairclip?" Evil Sky asked.
He said he wanted me to have a reminder of him, and when I tried to refuse because it’s important to him he said that I’m more important than it.
*His expression doesn’t change, but if he could feel, he’d be happy just remembering the conversation.
Evil Sky studied him for a second. He'd never heard of this interaction... then again he was in a coma for a long period of time and missed quite a lot.
"Huh." He hummed. "Touching."
"Where is it then?" He asked, noticing the clip wasn't on Birdie's person.
I left it in my room at Red’s house, safe with the other things I’ve been given. I keep getting hurt, and I’d be devastated if something happened to it. It already almost fell into the large hole in the Temple of Time in Lanayru.
*He pauses for a moment.
Did you meet Ghirahim? What was he like, for you?
"My Ghirahim..." Evil Sky shuddered. "He was so Good, it was disturbing... he kept going on about the power of friendship or something."
*….He’d forgotten, that the roles would be reversed. He almost wishes me had that version of Ghirahim instead of the one he has.
*He stares down at his missing hand for a moment, but makes no motion to type on his bracelet. Instead he simply nods in understanding.
"What about yours?" Evil Sky inquired.
*Birdie pauses again, thinking. After a moment, he sighs, signing asshole.
He’s stabbed me three times on two separate occasions, each, and he took my hand. He’s not the one who took my voice, but I refuse to believe he had nothing to do with it. He’s also the reason I nearly lost the clip and the hat I prefer.
"That's just plain rude, especially if its wasn't a mutual thing." Evil Sky said. "Sounds like a real pain in the ass, not unlike my Ghirahim."
"And... somebody stole your voice?"
It wasn’t. I hurt him once, by dumb luck. And when he took my hand, I didn’t even know he was coming.
*Birdie sighs, but lifts his head and gestures to the scar across his throat.
Cut my vocal cords. I can’t speak anymore. One of the other Zeldas, Fable, was able to fix them a little bit, but I still can’t speak. That’s why I have this bracelet and know some sign.
"How in my Evil wife's name did that even happen?" Evil Sky asked, his brows furrowing.
A fake version of good Sky snuck up behind me and used a fake Master Sword to do it, in the Earth Temple in Eldin. I’m lucky the real Sky found me when he did, even if I was afraid of him at first. The fake Sky also stabbed me through and pinned me with the same sword.
"What a poser." Evil Sky said, crossing his arms. "Glad-" *shudders* "-Good Sky helped you not die, that would've been a huge shame."
