In my opinion everything has taken part of doing damage, of course, I would have done the Non-stop changing lore if there wasn't an all above choice.

Its interesting to see how everyone agrees that the 'family friendly' choice, as of writing this reblog, has not been chosen, and I can see why. Everyone collectively agrees that there is a serious undertone to Hello Neighbor even with all the goofy shi content creators make out of it (more like a guilty pleasure to see, cause who would've thought of the Neighbor, Granny, Baldi, and Slenderman being beside each other and dancing?).

Regarding the cartoon, Welcome to Raven Brooks, I personally have enjoyed it for what it is, mainly seeing how Theodore is basically the universe's Goku. Like come on, he mangled a Forest-Protector/Crowface with ease (ignoring Search & Rescue, though I do like the silliness of messing with Theo in VR, #LetTheodorePetersonSleep). I can see how it can ruin perception of the original lore, but I do separate that canon from the animated series, like its an alternate universe canon, so it doesn't bother me too much (please be more of a bad-ass in Season 3 Theo pleeeeaasssssse).

Now, for the elephant in the room, the fandom itself. I'm not going to shorten it to just kids, because any other group can be accounted for in this, but unfortunately it is the biggest group that'll be the punching bag in this scenario. I don't hate it, but I do get disgruntled that the fandom has become disconnected with another in more ways than one. Whether it's users strictly using any piece of canon (they adapt to the never-ending lore changes by Nikita on the Hello Neighbor Discord) to disregard users who stay with the three original stories, such as Faust, Family, and Full Release storylines, or users that disregard the true meaning of Hello Neighbor or the reasons to why Theodore behaves the way he does (much like how Nicky perceived Theodore as a killer in the animated series, until being trapped anyway), it is all a homunculus ball of negativity, toxicity, and misunderstanding of what Hello Neighbor was all about.

But even with all of this, Hello Neighbor is still.. Hello Neighbor. As long as its original stories are preserved and kept well, it'll never truly die. Hello Neighbor stood the test of Mascot Horror time to be included in the NIGHTMARE SYNDICATE of all things (even as a joke, getting a model of your character for that is still amazing)! I hope that this franchise still goes strong, and hopefully, the fandom doesn't cause Nikita to do the same mistake of scrapping storylines like the first game, though all storylines from Hello Neighbor, scrapped or not, are all great and should be given attention to.

Random hate in the fandom??

Um... so I've been an HN fan for YEARS since 2016, and I just recently tried to connect with people on the Discord server. Tell me WHY the fandom is so mean and hateful now? Like, you're fr gonna make hateful comments to me for being lgbt+ and Jewish and having Theo as my favorite character?? and then wonder why people leave the fandom? im not leaving, but im just so like star-struck at the way people are now

This is a desperate message to the HN community to just love each other; we are all neighbors, no matter what. Be kind to one another and stop spreading hate; we all just love the same game.
