Elsa fought as Persephone brought her to the corner and chained her up, trying to think of any way that she could get out. The problem was, she could escape maybe, but she couldn’t get both of them out. She wasn’t about to leave a very pregnant Megara on her own. She shook her head. “Never,” she growled when Persephone asked her to freeze the room. However, her face turned a ghostly shade of white as Persephone threatened Kristoff, and she quickly froze the room, shooting Meg an apologetic look.
Megara glared at Persephone. She understood why Elsa used her powers, and she gave her a small reassuring nod, letting her know that she didn’t blame her at all. Still, she had no coat and it was suddenly freezing. She drew her arms around her, trying to shield herself from the cold. “I can survive a little chill,” she spat. “And I’ll never tell you anything.” Elsa did as she was told and turned the area into a more regal looking frozen room, also freezing the floor beneath them and the ceiling, in addition to the snow that was already falling.
Her eyes met Persephone’s as the villainous women trailed vines up her legs, and she barely winced in pain, not wanting to show any weakness. “Do your worst,” she argued through gritted teeth, “Hercules has no weakness. You can’t beat him. He’ll be down here saving me and destroying you before you will ever get anything out of me.”
Hercules didn’t want to move. He had felt like everything he had ever known was a lie, and plus he was drunk. What was he going to accomplish like that? He didn’t even know if Persephone was really back. Not to say he thought Kris was lying, but he didn’t see any reason she would come after Megara now, or especially Elsa. Unless she somehow knew about the twins… if she didn’t she would now. “It’s all my fault…” Hercules realized, feeling even worse about himself now. “You’ll die if you go alone. You won’t make it there.” “Well guess what? We’re all going to die, if you don’t get off your ass. Me, Elsa, Megara… your kids. All gone, if you don’t come with me. Let’s go. Hercules. I’m not waiting for you any longer, and I will drag you through this glass, if I have to.” “It’s all my fault…” Hercules continued to mumble things under his breath, sitting up and holding his head in agony. “Fuck… Alright, but you’re gonna have to help me…”
Kristoff rolled his eyes and helped Hercules downstairs, doing as he instructed, until they got to the underworld. They were going to see Hades, and despite Kristoff’s arguments, Hercules was persistent, and insisted that they go to see him first. “Where is this guy anyway?” Hercules pointed in a general direction, wanting to go that way. “Hades! Where are you? Come on… I know you’re down here! You can hear me.”
Hades appeared in a puff of smoke, unamused that he’d been sought out, plus Hercules was trespassing. “Who do you think you are?” he snarled. “Let me remind you who owns your son. What are you doing here? I’m not going to make a different deal. I already did enough for Megara.” His voice changed to something sickeningly sweet as he said Meg’s name, hoping to get under Hercules’ skin.
Persephone only got more annoyed the more Megara refused to listen to her, until an idea suddenly came to her. Tightening the vines further, she waved her hand so they traveled further up, all the way to Megara’s neck. “Still nothing?” she narrowed her eyes angrily. “Elsa!” She got up and stomped over to the girl, slipping on the ice, which only made her angrier. Dragging the blonde over so that she stood in front of Meg, she held her tightly. “Freeze her. In a block of ice,” she squeezed the girl tighter as she spoke. “If she won’t talk, we’ll see how she’s doing after ten minutes of being frozen alive. The thorns will only dig into your skin more the more you fight. Imagine them being frozen there, and you won’t even be able to cry out for help,” she laughed. “Do it. Now.”
