I can’t believe I see people defending Sony over the digital only thing. And then act mightier than thou by talking about piracy being bad, while Sony literally pulled movies that were PAID FOR from customers, acting like that isn’t stealing.

Whether Gabe still believes in what he said so many years ago or not, it’s something that matters more now than ever.

Piracy stems from a service problem more than anything.

When companies start pulling shit like Sony is doing, and everyone starts to do it? If piracy becomes more rampant from it? Obviously everyone’s service sucks then. When people would rather go through the hassle of trying to OWN something, because the service refuses to give their customers the simple service of OWNING what they purchase? THAT is what corporations need to realize what they are doing sucks.

And before people may reply saying “well what about before this started? People still pirated then!”

Considering how some places STILL charge exorbitant amounts in certain countries, so most people can’t afford it there? That STILL comes down to a service issue, because the companies obviously do not seem to cater to those that live in those kind of countries, or those that can’t afford said product.

Whether people want to believe it or not, it STILL is a service issue, showing companies do not want to put in effort in helping those interested in their products, so they just resort to piracy. NOW however, it’s starting to be due to OWNERSHIP as well as a service issue.

Sorry for not posting for a while! i just ended 3rd grade of college in Poland ( or technikum, however you would like to call it ) and i am working part time for a short while... I've been unmotivated to draw because of these reasons,, but i bet yall will understand :) Have Reze though!!
