I wanted to address where I’ve been real quick. Basically I didn’t take burnout as seriously as I should have and it became an actual physical and mental health problem. I’m fine now (mostly) but things were kinda fucked up for a bit and overall it’s been a lot of work getting back to baseline. I didn’t expect it to take years but. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

ANYWAYS i’m slowly getting back into art. I’m pretty offline these days and intend to stay that way but I am going to update this blog at least somewhat regularly going forward. Idk what that looks like yet but I’m feeling optimistic.

i dunno if you will read this but can I just say that i love the way you draw Obito, more specifically his eyes and the way you draw his clothing. As someone with a monolid and a double lid on each eye, your drawings often make me feel a bit better about my eyes look. The clothing meanwhile is just divine for me because i had a personal headcanon about Obito wearing a binder of sorts so to see that in real life is just outstanding to me and making me very happy.

thank u <3 i do use refs! you should always use refs bc that's how you remember all the little details that make your work feel more lifelike.

and I know everyone says this but practicing is the only way to improve. photo studies are a really good place to start
