i know ive been inactive but i just wanted to say in light of recent events that im so happy im a chris girl.
i love all of the triplets so much but chris genuinely has the purest heart and sweetest energy and i think out of all of them heās the most vocal about how grateful he is for the platform heās been given. i jus love that heās so unapologetically himself and i hope nothing ever changes that :(
+ im sure nick and matt love him more than any of us ever could but i wish they were more gentle with the words they used against him. i know heās a grown man but a lot of their audience isnt and i would hate for some young fan to see themselves in chris and be inadvertently hurt by their words. not that they should start censoring themselves, but theres a line and i believed nick crossed it in that stream. thinking before you speak is a great skill to have! especially with the audience they have!

when you had met chris at a party that a mutual friend was throwing, you hadnāt really thought much of it. you figured he was someone that would become a close friend, and nothing more.
until one night, the two of you were hanging out, sprawled out on his couch as the step brothers movie played on the tv, but neither of you were paying it much mind as your attention drifted to his face, the way his lips sat in a natural pout, their usual pink hue appearing darker and all the more enticing, the way his nose sloped, causing your thoughts to slip into something of a more sinful nature.

but when you had told chris about the invitation, he was upset. he took the news with an stoic expression before shaking his head walking away, only to text you an hour later, telling you to decline it or say you couldnāt go. to say you were hurt was an understatement, but you obliged nonetheless, not wanting to further strain your whatever-it-was with chris.

it was hard to see him as anything casual when your favourite clothes were tucked neatly in his dresser, when you were able to claim more than one drawer at his place. it was hard to be just casual when you had a set of skincare products and a toothbrush on his bathroom counter.
and you tried to be the calm and collected girl you once were, starting to give him space when it was clear he needed it, and you tried to hold your tongue, stopping yourself from letting those damned three words fall from your lips. but that wasnāt who you were. not anymore. you had fallen undoubtably, irrevocably, and deeply in love with chris, despite the fates never quite setting that up for the two of you.
and you couldnāt hold it back anymore. so you marched up to his apartment, your knuckles wrapping against the metal door, your confidence withering away as you began to mull over the possible outcomes of what you were about to do, but you didnāt get any time to revel in cowardice as chris pulled open the door, his eyes widening as he mets yours.
