Harry frowned slightly, covering his nose with his hands. "I-is it really that big?" he mumbled, running over to the mirror and began checking his profile.
Braxton watched the male in amusement, getting up and following after him. He chuckled and shook his head, wrapping his arms around Harry's torso as he looked in the mirror also. "I was just kidding.. Your nose is fine, swear."
"I was trying to be a witch cause its nearly Halloween you douche!" Harry pouted, shuffling to get comfortable. He let out a small giggle, placing his arm over Braxton's toned chest, slipping his hand under his shirt, "I just wanted cuddles, and you're sick! You should love the extra time in bed"
"Well you've got the nose down pat. All you need now is warts." He laughed, reaching over to poke the boy on the nose. Slightly squirming at his touch, Braxton wrinkled his nose, shaking his head. "All I do normally is stay in bed! I'm already sick of this sickness."
The red head attempted a smile as she took both of his hands in hers, her fingers instantly interlocking with his. She took a small breath as her eyes looked deep into his, her smile seemingly growing. “Two weeks, alright? Just two and then i’ll be back.” It was more the fact that she didn’t think she’d be able to stay away for longer than two weeks. She’d known it all along really, which is why she wondered why she’d even bothered telling him in the first place. The whole thing could have easily been avoided had she just kept her mouth shut. And now she’s bringing him closer, her hands wrapping protectively around his waist as her forehead rests against his. “I meant what I said by the way. I really do love you.”
"It’s fine. I’ll just.. be waiting here. I guess." Just like old times. Alone and having absolutely nothing to do. Tugging a small smile to his lips, he decided he’d just suck it up like he usually does. It’s nothing he hasn’t gone through before, right? He could wait. Raising a brow at her words, he pretended to be amused. However, the thought brought a warm pink tint to his cheeks, his teeth clamping down on his lip to avoid a goofy smile that was itching to show. He despised getting mushy about the subject so he’ll just try to joke it off, "Rosaleigh loves meee."
Harry pouted slightly, nudging the boy with his shoulder. “No ones tried because they know you’re mine” he growled, pulling back as he laughed. He dragged Braxton back upstairs, jumping up onto his bed. “Come cuddle me my dear”
"Getting possessive already, are we?" He teased, trudging along as he was brought up the stairs. As soon as he entered the room, he went over and fell face first opposite of Harry. “‘My dear’? That sounds like a nickname a grandma would give." He snickered, scooting over towards the boy. Pulling him to his arms, Braxton let out a yawn, "I don’t wanna sleep againnn."
It was all a masquerade…
As soon as she felt his grip tighten, hers tightened too, scared that if she let go then she’d really be letting go. Hearing those three words exit his mouth, Rosaleigh realised that what she had decided upon had been wrong all along. She loved him, she really did and she couldn’t just let him go. “I love you too.” She whispered, her tears significantly slowing down. She really wanted to stay, but it wasn’t that easy. “I have to go Braxton, I have to.” She whispered, pulling just slightly away from his embrace. “But i’d be fucking mental if I let you go.” Bringing her hand to wipe his cheeks, she let out a sigh she didn’t even realise she’d been holding in. “Just give me a week, okay? Just to see them. And then I swear, I promise i’ll be home.”
A wave of relief flooded over him as he listened to her recite the words back to him, though he held his breath, knowing he couldn't have convinced her that quickly. There had to be more to say. And he was right ---- his arms fell limp once he heard her next statements. One week wouldn't be that bad, would it? It's not like they see each other every single day and being apart for a week would be a drastic change. He didn't know what brought him to say it, but the words came anyway, "Stay as long as you want." He mumbled, bringing his gaze to her once again. "It's your home, a week isn't enough." He knew how awful he'd feel if he was in that position with his mother, and he didn't want to be the one holding her back from people who've known her much longer than he did.
Harry huffed out a sigh, pulling back but entwined their fingers. “I’ll help you. I don’t care how long it takes or how small our steps are”
Braxton looked at the boy with a grateful smile, his eyebrows curving as he processed the words. "You're.. dumb." He meant it jokingly, hoping the other would know so. "...-- Cute dumb. No one's actually tried before, you know."
BRAXTON DID THE THING THE THREE WORD THING DRAMATIC GASP
The feeling of his arms around her body instantly broke her down. That feeling of protection instantly entering her body though causing her sobs to finally escape. The fact that he was here, and he was fighting for her made her feel like she was actually important. And it made her think twice. She couldn’t just leave him, she couldn’t just go because not only would it hurt him, it would hurt her. They’d both been hurt more than they deserved and this was their one chance at happiness. Turning herself around in his arms, she took a few moments to glance at him before continuing to cry, her face burying itself in his chest as her arms held tightly onto his.
Squeezing his eyes shut, his grip tightened slightly as he waited for some kind of response. His heart was pounding, ringing in his ears; he just wanted her to say that she would stay. As soon as she pivoted her body, his breath hitched in his throat as he looked at her before she took refuge into his chest. He wrapped his arms further around the female, placing a kiss atop her head before resting his chin against it. "I--I.. I love you," He whispered. If she didn't understand how important she was to him, he didn't know what to do. "Please don't leave me."
“I’m sorry.” It’s all she can think to say at a moment like this. She’s never had to do this, break things off with someone she felt so much love for. And if it’s hurting her, then god knows how much it must be hurting him. “I’m just gonna ruin things sooner or later so why not get it over and done with?” She’s struggling to contain the sobs that are forming in the back of her throat as her eyes roam over his face. Taking in everything, because she knows that this’ll be the last time she can. “I have to go. I-I’ve got things to pack and… I just.. I have to go.” And now she’s resulted in doing the thing she’s best at. Walking away.
He's at a loss of words now. He was appalled by the fact that she believed things weren't going to last. This was Braxton, the guy who hasn't even looked at a female until she came along. He let his walls down for her, and she thought she was going to do something to mess it up? Impossible. He could only stand and watch as her smaller frame ambled away, his heart sinking with every step she took. "Rosaleigh," He finally choked out. Before he could process what was happening, he was brought to the girl, his arms immediately engulfing her from behind. "Don't leave. Don't fucking leave me."
”I didn’t expect to leave Brax, I wanted to stay! I never even expected for things to get so serious between us and now that they are I feel like i’m being torn in half!” She’s weak. She never expected to be so upset over a boy, but then again this wasn’t just any old boy, it was Braxton. “I need you too Braxton, believe me I do.” She whispered as she continued to wipe at her tears, her make up now smudged, though that was the least of her problems. She’s making her way towards him now, her hands taking hold of his hips gently as her sad eyes look into his own. “People like you, Brax… People like you aren’t supposed to be with people like me. I’m not good news. You should think of this as an escape, something good. You’re gonna find someone good for you!”
He doesn't want to hear it anymore, he can't handle even thinking of it for another second. He's lost; he's never been in this position before. "You're not g-good news? H-Have you seen me? D-Do you even know what I'm like?" Hands wiping viciously at his cheeks, he's trying so hard to seem angry, but it's obvious that he's completely torn. "An escape from something good? Like, what, escaping the only happiness I've had in years? Goddammit, y-you don't fucking understand, Rosa! Maybe I don't want someone good for me!"

With tears in her eyes, Emmie jumped from the car the second it stopped. For the first time ever, she cursed. “Listen. I know I fucked up okay. I know I ruined my life. I know I can never go to college and become a nurse. I understand I have to use all of my college money on my daughter. I get it. But you- you have no right to treat me like shit. I’ve gotten it from my parents. I don’t need it from you too.” Tears streamed down her cheeks as she walked away from the hospital.
When he found her, Emmie though maybe this was God’s way of telling her that their friendship still had a chance. Now she just felt fucked over. She was sore, exhausted, and her legs were shaking, but the new mother just cradled the infant close to her chest as she sobbed.
He looked at her, completely appalled that she was accusing him of being the bad guy. "Wha-- Treat you like shit? Emmie, are you fucking--" He closed his eyes, gathering his thoughts before huffing out a breath. "First of all, I've treated you nothing less than a princess before your little boyfriend had to go and fuck it all up. You're callin' me the bad guy for tellin' you what's right?" He's beyond done; they're acting like a married couple already. Watching as the female began to walk away, he waited a few minutes before going after her. Who knows what kinds of things could happen if she were to be alone with the baby. "You need to be checked up." He mumbled, more calm now. In all honesty, he was probably just as tired as she was. Finding your friend and a baby in the bathroom isn't exactly the easiest thing to go through in one day. "The baby, too. It's not healthy for either of you to be out here."
