Dante woke with a start, barely moving his head in time to avoid being elbowed in the face. He looked up at Adrian, grinned, and brushed his hair back before wrapping his arms around the man’s torso and snuggling close again.

“After last night? Hell yeah I am. You wore me out.” He smiled, resting his head between Adrian’s shoulder blades. “Seems like I wore you out too, huh?”

At that, the mutant soon relaxed, his body visably relieved that it was Dante, inwardly kicking himself for not being more used to his company yet. But his presence was more than welcome, pleasant, and he did admittedly look forward to growing more accustom to it.

“I, uh... I slept like a baby.” Adrian managed to tease as the curve of his lips began to tilt a little further this time. He shuffled on the mattress, deciding to turn and lay on his back so he could see Dante better, even wrap an arm around him so he could hold him close, feel the warmth radiate from his skin like a living breathing heater. “It’s been a while since I slept through the whole night. I could get used to this.” He added, giving the inhuman a squeeze with his arm.

Users can change ether into tools, objects, weapons and other items, create semi-living constructs and/or create structures/buildings of varying permanence. Splayed out on the mattress in a rather unelegant position, the new mutant grumbled as daylight beamed across his face, causing him to wince slightly and turn over onto his side. As he shifted, he came to a halt, finding that something was in the way which caused him to sleepily glance over his shoulder. With a slight start Adrian jumped before realisation soon sunk in, he hadn’t gone to sleep alone. “You’re a pretty quiet sleeper, you know that?”

Rachel sat on one of the benches in the garden. "Here's a question. What exactly are you going to do when the battle ends?"

Adrian turned his head with a slightly apprehensive look when Rachel spoke, her question something of a surprise to him. He hesitated to reply, pondering his answer over in the back of his mind, eyes darting from side to the side lick watching the clogs of a clock ticking away behind blue eyes. “I, uh… I’m not sure.” He admitted with a troubled shrug of his shoulders. “I… guess it depends whatever feels… best.”
