This is a direct study/fusion of a Vanessa Stockard painting. She's an Australian artist who does these awesome Kevin The Kitten paintings. Since not every artist is ok with this type of study being shared publicly I messaged her, and she was so enthusiastic and encouraging. For me, the real joy was in painting this, but that was an unexpected boost 🥰
