Here’s my general stances I guess bc I am bored rn :3

My main deciding factors are prioritizing trans women/transfems in LGBT spaces, and material harm. This can include “gatekeeping” labels bc erasing the meaning of words like lesbian to include cis/trans men is indeed harmful.

- bi/pan/mspec lesbians don’t exist you’re all cishets in my eyes

- you’re not a trans man lesbian. You’re either confused and nb or you’re just an entitled man LOL

- proship antipara. I will die on this hill don’t play with me. I am NOT going to pretend hentai is a brainwashing agent. You people are fucking stupid.

-pro he/him and they/them lesbians. Non-binary lesbians rule.

- anti pansexuality. Bc it feeds into the notion that “bi is 2+!!” And this feeds into “hey guys bi lesbians totally make sense.” The battleaxe bis are my allies. I’m sure many pan people don’t intend for this harm but unfortunately it exists!

- kill radqueers

- anti “asexuality as a spectrum” bc that logic feeds into the bs notion that lesbians can fuck men

- lol I’m ace exclusionist as in I don’t think it’s inherently queer or like… particularly targeted beyond typical misogyny-based things like rape culture. You have struggles but they aren’t queer ones necessarily <3

- anti truscum/transmed but will reblog from them if they have decent takes on other topics. I just think they’re fucking nosy about the levels of dysphoria other trans ppl may or may not have or even recognize due to how dysphoria is often discussed!

another thing this post is NOT about, btw, is "not having dysphoria". not having dysphoria is perfectly fine i don't have bottom dysphoria 99% of the time and i obviously don't mind if a trans person does not want to do XYZ process of medical transitioning whether that be a specific surgery or even hormones themselves. the difference here is i don't think it's "gender non-conforming" for me to not get phalloplasty, i think pretty much everyone but a sub-section of trans people want me to NOT do phalloplasty. something something tumblr users are obsessed with thinking the radical choice is agreeing with the status quo

Queer unity has been trying as hard as possible to downplay any possible transfem issue. Pay gap adding up to thousands a year? Not a big deal. V coding? Never mention it. Trans women are much more likely to be sent to an early grave than their male counterparts? Stop bringing that up. Trans people collaborating with kiwifarms? Just internet drama.

You know what IS an important issue? Getting called a fucking birthday boy. They get all hands on deck about it. They will write VERY long posts about how important it is you not use it, and that anyone who does must be punished as severely as possible

There's only one explanation. The lives of trans women are so worthless to them, so fucking disposable, that a trans man getting invalidated is actually more important to them. That's how these people, who demand we view them as family and allies, who think we should be ready to die for them, view us.

I know people who treat house flies with more respect than that.

We do both have it shitty, but it's necessary to recognize that trans women are being called pedophiles by government entities and murdered in the streets while trans men are not. Trans men aren't in the same mortal danger that trans women are and pretending that we all have it the same is not only delusional but detrimental to the trans rights movement. Protect the dolls.

i want to emphasize this, anyone transfem or otherwise tma will get less respect in lgbt spaces and this goes even more so if they dont present as femininely, or god forbid if presenting masculine. i experienced this firsthand. there are points in my transition where i was still boymoding, where i was trying to be feminine and various stages of doing this better as i got used to it, and times when i did not want to shave or dress fem or anything so i didnt. there was a time i identified as nonbinary and then started identifying as a woman. throughout all of this, i was treated worse than my tme peers. this includes my transmasc friends who still presented femininely, who although by wider society would be observed as women, in these lgbt spaces (even those trans focused) they would have their identity respected. i cannot say the same for me.

they werent treated lesser, i was. they werent questioned on their identity, i was. they werent degendered constantly, i was.

the difference was like night and day no matter what i did.

the reason you do not see 'subversive' trans women as often like you do trans men, those trans men who are happy still wearing dresses and having breasts and wearing makeup, is because if a trans woman tries to do this same thing she will lose what little clearance she is given to a feminine identity. trans women often do not get to be gender nonconforming because the very notion of there being men who would choose to become women is already too radical for society
