I hit 100+ followers not too long ago so here’s a lil thank-you Gam.

Cut a day long as it already was, it was complete bullshit that Gamzee had to stay even later! Hell, he was paying out of pocket to stay in school as it was, not like his deadbeat dad was gunna help him out either way. That in mind, wouldn’t be able to stay afloat much longer if he let his grades drop enough that they’d finally need to kick him out.

Gamzee Makara was living on campus, right now. Honestly, he was kicked out of his apartment a while back. All his money went to pot and glorified painting classes, rather than his bills. Stowed away in a mister Vantas’ room. That, however, was a secret. Like most things Gamzee did, it happened to be against the rules. Been set between him and Karkat that if he ever got caught, they’d tell the dean that the undergrad just plain old wandered into the dorm. Hell, would feel bad if he got his bud kicked out too.

But, least of his worries. Not that today was really harshing his mellow any. The tall, lanky Makara peaked into the lecture hall. Funny place to hold an extra class, but it figured. It was late in the day, and the rest of the professors had likely closed their doors, or were holding night courses. Figuring he was the only one there, Gamzee finally strolled in, an old sketchbook tucked under his arm, a backpack slung over his opposite shoulder.

He’d stop in his tracks, however, upon noticing someone at the bottom row of seats. Quietly, Gamzee crept down the stairs, set on getting a closer look. No matter how hard he gandered, he just couldn’t tell who this bro was! Whoever they were? Probably in the same boat as him. “Yo!” He finally said, a wide grin on his face as he plopped down next to the other student. “You get into some shit too, yeah?” He chuckled, folding his arms on the small desk and laying his head on them.
