Just a feeler - is anyone that still follows me still active?  If you see this post, let me know!

I badly miss having an art community and I’m trying to figure out the best place for it.  I left Tumblr originally because I couldn’t handle the drama, but it seems like the drama has mostly moved to twitter now?  And tumblr went back to mostly being about memes and ridiculous humor?  

Anyway I might make a new account, I’ll post an update if I do!

Oh Crap

So while playing a campaign my character goes off on a special quest. I had to find an earth guardian but I had the misfortune of finding the medusa who was trying to corrupt the guardians as well. My half Orc barbarian flees but the medusa teleports in front of me. The following occurred:

DM: the medusa appears suddenly before you riding her beautiful flaming black horse.

Me (OOC): I’d like to roll to shit my pants

*rolls nat 20*

DM: *laughing heavily* you have explosive diarrhea. Your pants are ripped off and you kill the assassin that was unfortunately behind you.

Tips for Dealing with Difficult People

1. Always do your best to stay calm and in control.

2. Decide to not react to the things they say and do.

3. If you can, keep that person on the fringes of your life.

4. If you can’t, try and deal with them when others are around.

5. Choose your battles carefully or everything will be a fight.

6. Separate “them” from “the issue” – and show kindness and respect.

7. Demonstrate good self-respect; act as if you’re confident.

8. Use some humour where you can; keep things on a lighter note.
