heroicriot:
Eijirou walked around the table to the coin slot, pulling out a couple coins from his shorts’ pocket and slid them in. “I got this one, dude, you get the next.” He offered, grinning again as the puck clanked down. The redhead picked it out of the slot and showed it to his boyfriend, winking. “Hey bro, catch!” Sure, it was silly and probably not the safest thing, might get him a reprimand from the owner of the establishment if he was seen but it was still fun, specially knowing Bakugo’s reflexes were quick as anyones.
With that, he turned to the table again and took hold of one of the mallets, lowering himself to be close to the table and look at the blond in playful competition, waving the puck back and forth on the table a couple times as he waited. “Ready when you are!”
Quick to catch the puck, Bakugo let it fall atop the dotted surface, the plastic settling just about centre board, easy enough for them both to reach once the game started. Bakugo Katsuki was competitive by nature, so when Kirishima gave him that look, that playful, competitive look he was hooked, his grip tightened on the paddle, eyes sharp, focused entirely on that little puck as the air began billowing out of the small holes in the table top, lifting the puck just enough off of the surface to make it glide.
“I’m always ready” Shit was about to get real.
He shot his arm forward, careful to mind his quirk, he didn’t need a table exploding through his own competitive exertion, paddle met puck, ricocheting it off the corners of the table, lucky it didn’t go flying off at the sheer force he whacked it at, instead it remained within the confines of the table, bouncing off the sides moving at a speed hard to keep track of.
Bakugo came to win.
