So, from what I read (I dont remember what social media platform was but I think it was a youtube comment), one of the devs from BHVR said that Suzie actually had a crush on Frank (I think it was around the Lunar Year Event when Suzie got the rat skin when that piece of information was mentioned) and she did all that stuff (her mugging a man during chinese new year) just to impress him. Thoughts on that?

since for some reason this was marked as important in my email i’ll answer it. bhvr is inconsistent and half of the fandom eats it up. we both hate the rat of the year cosmetic with a passion bc it completely contradicts the lore when they first were released. Susie never wanted to stab the janitor. she literally cried about it and refused to until frank and guided her hands to do it. The only thing i like about the cosmetic is that it supports my statement frank is infact a piece of shit getting legion doing things for him just to impress him. It’s really frustrating to see people don’t see that at all. Now for susie having a crush on frank it’s possible but we personally don’t see their relationship like that. if anything she seeks to impress frank in the past just so she can fit in and not lose her best friend. Anyways, bhvr can’t write their characters correctly. susie is one of them bc they seem they can’t figure out they want her some sweet innocent girl that got corrupted by the entity or she was just as horrible as frank and he managed to pull that out of her.

after joining the group, susie had a complete makeover since her previous image “wasn’t working out” with the rest of the group. ‘she totally did that ramona flowers bullshit where she dyes her hair every month’ (thank u mod knives ily)

he’s very stalkerish and possessive but doesn’t like to admit it (p lowkey about it)

the thought of losing julie is her #1 fear and she has done everything in her power to fit into the group so they (Frank) wouldn’t kick her out of it 

she got her braces later than most kids since her family had to save up for it cause braces are expensivesusie and frank become a bit better friends after the incident of her first trial. 

susie will sometimes show her true self (as julie mentioned), but will often be seen bringing up the times of frank dismissing her and agreeing due to his manipulation and to cope/validate her new self after the incident. 

her dad wasn’t all for her plan to major in photography and pushed her a lot to do something else like being a vet while her mom supported her doing whatever she wanted to do. this made susie feel conflicted and she never was able to make up her mind and she never will.

More about Frank and Julie? Like... How they got together? Did they have a first date and stuff? How did they start dating.

Personally, I cant really see them having a first date and whatnot. Their relationship is complicated when they first get together- Frank doesn't give a shit about labels, and Julie doesn’t like the idea of labeling their relationship at first. Sure, they might kiss a little here and there a little while after they meet, but its not a ‘relationship’. I guess I could say their relationship is sort of difficult per say? Though, how they ended up together was mostly just Julie doing impulsive actions without putting actual thought. When all the people in her life she thought she was important to start leaving, her first thought is to run to Frank. Because well, he’s shown her this other life she thinks she desperately wants, so she puts two and two together and believes Frank will make her happy, Frank is all she really needs to survive this hell hole and possibly get her out of this place. Mun bandages and I personally believe they‘re just dating eachother for their own personal gain, which is sort of.. not healthy. I guess you can say that when everything starts to fall apart for her, that's where they start dating. Frank in a way is Julie’s crutch in getting out of Ormond and get the life she believes she deserves. Anyways, they didnt really have any dates or whatnot, Unless Frank fucked up or something he’ll try to do something romantic in effort to get Julie to forgive him. Julie is a sucker for that kind of stuff, even though she tries not to show it.
