This will most likely be more organized than my main (it's a mess over there tbh) and I'll probably update this with more specific tags as I go, but yeah.

Starts off with Scar going to Australia to shoot the shot of the movie he’s been casted the main character for. There he goes “undercover” as Mr Wizard in a LARPing group known as “GIGS” (soon to be GIGGS) because Cub, his director and best friend recommended that he takes a break from his professional acting career, especially with the new movie “Hotguy 2” being worked on pretty soon. Scar is a famous actor who is constantly bombarded with cameras and fans, so he never takes his costume off when LARPing, as he’s worried people will act differently around him, and in that group LARPing he meets Max Blunder, who is later introduced as Grian, who he inevitably falls in love with.
Grian is Hotguys biggest fan. His room is covered in Hotguy merchandise, and he jumps at any chance to see him. So when Pearl, his sisterly best friend reaches out asking if he wants to come visit the same day the filming location was leaked, Grian jumped at the chance. Planning to stay there for a month or two, Pearl recommended that he joined the LARPing group her girlfriend, Gem was in. Grian agreed, and when he joined he met the strange Mr Wizard, who never broke character, took his costume off or told Grian his name. Grian was fixated upon finding out who this mysterious man was, so obsessed that he didn’t realise the more he found out about Mr Wizard, the more he was falling for him.
Eventually, after finding out Grian was a huge fan of the Hotguy movies, he invited Cub to come watch them LARP, who to their surprise, Grian immediately recognised and asked for an autograph. However, while fumbling around in his bag, one of his drawings fell out, and Cub picked it up shortly after Grian went back to the group. The artwork was of Grian’s self-insert oc “Cuteguy”. Cub, feeling slightly guilty but still being Cub, looked it up and found hundreds of posts Grian had made of his character, with character development, personality and so much art. The more Cub read, the more an idea started to form in his head.
Cub continued to watch their LARPing group, taking note of Grians incredible acting and when Grian announced he would be going back to the UK next week, Cub took him aside and asked him if he wanted to make his fan-character a reality.
Grian, excited, immediately said yes, but to Cub’s surprise, wanted to not tell anyone who his identity was until the movie was released, and when Cub asked about it, he said he wanted to get back at Mr Wizard and keep him guessing. Mumbo (who he calls over the phone each day) and Pearl are the only people he tells about it.
When Grian does get on set as Cuteguy, Scar instantly fell in love with the sassy, rebellious character that Cuteguy was, and constantly begged Cub to tell him who Cuteguy was, to no avail. Grian, as Cuteguy, on the other hand, is trying to stay as in-character as possible so he doesn’t pass out every time he sees Scar Goodtimes, who is quite literally the man of his dreams.
anyways it takes the two idiots a long time to connect the dots that Cuteguy is Grian and Scar is Mr Wizard.
