Yearz competition (don’t get 2 excited)

The final chapter of Yearz is coming along “nicely” so I thought I’d run a very small, very stupid competition: whoever can most accurately guess Murdoc’s Grand Plan, I’ll write you a quick ficlet. Here’s some rough n ready rules:

Answers on a postcard in an ask, please also give a brief ficlet prompt while you’re at it

Murdoc’s Grand Plan isn’t actually that grand and is extra stupid, but the main aspect of it has been mentioned in an earlier chapter, so basically whoever can identify that first wins

Ficlet will 1) be subject to me finding the proposed prompt okay, 2) be subject to the prompter appreciating that it’s Going To Read Like The Stuff I Write (I’m not a miracle worker) and 3) have no cash value/not be exchangeable etc etc etc

If amusing, I’ll post any asks I receive once chapter 25 is up, so as to avoid spoilers.

it’s tiiiiime for another one of my murdoc audio posts! by request, here is a tribute to murdocs many many speech habits.

showcasing his weird growly noises, the “hawhawagughn” laugh, just some regular laughter because its cute af, his stuttering, his tendency to SCREAM IN THE MIDDLE OF SENTENCES, the unnecessary drrrrrrrrrrrrrragging emphasis on some words, and then just some of the other odd speech tics he has. lovely! <3

of course, this is obviously not EVERY single one. I’m pretty sure that would take forever to make and the audio itself would be like an hour long at the least. but its a few!
