For me, I personally like to HC that for crewmates, while looks DO matter, personality and relatability are also heavily roped into that category for them which is why most of them swooned more when Blue said something relatable to them rather than JUST “oh hot doctor”, yeah they DO think Blue is hot but it’s also due to how Blue relates to their interests and such.

I have some headcanons of varying quality!!!

Brown:

They like TTRPGs, and usually play as a wizard if they can.

They have social anxiety. Everyone just assumes that they're quiet or don't have an opinion on whatever it is that's being talked about, but they usually do and are just too anxious to say it.

They know embroidery, and have used that skill to make some of the weird aprons in their and Yellow's collection.

They stress bake.

They sometimes talk in their sleep.

Used to read the magic treehouse series.

Orange:

Sends notices to the crew with SO MANY EMOJIS.

They get migraines often due to the bright lights on the Skeld.

I've already posted this before, but they definitely write fanfiction.

They used to read the Warrior Cats series in middle school and managed to get one of their younger siblings into it as well.

Got bullied at school growing up. Now they get bullied at work /j

Grew up very used to the cold, so now their office back at mira hq is freezing because of how high they keep the AC.

Orange bites their nails a lot.

Blue:

Aroace.

Used to really like those kids mystery books like the boxcar children and encyclopedia brown.

Has had MANY bad experiences with having to reject people who didn't take rejection well.

Knows self defense (see previous headcanon for the reason why)

Likes wearing those long skirts. You know the ones that go down to your ankles? Those ones.

Loves autumn.

Allergic to apples. It isn't deadly, but they get sick after eating them.

◇ - Cerulean (cyann) Opalite

Theyre.. quite literally exactly what the writes had in mind for cyan's character - theyre just as sweet as the bean they'd written, only a little less emotional than cyan from the show - always eager to lend a helping hand in any part of the process and / or help motivate the rest of the cast when they need it ^_^

They show up every morning with a different tote bag. Each one includes either a cute animal or an inspirational quote. No one knows where they get them from and / or how they dont seem to run out . It's become an ongoing investigation that keeps everyone else entertained during breaks.

◇ - Carmine Cerise

The skeld's captain !! Upon becoming part of the cast, a few of Red (the character)'s personality aspects were changed up because the writers took inspiration from Carmine themselves' behaviour and interactions 🥹

They're exes with Indigo (The actor for purple) but the two harbor no hard feelings for each other and are good friends off set ^_^

One set of Red's spare clothes went missing mid-filiming season. Everyone knows who took em, but no ones gonna go snitch on them just yet..

been thinking about among us crewmate accessibility aids

first off is the trolley backpack for mobility impaired crewmates. wheelchairs are pretty much the same but i wanted to utilize their backpacks lol. yall know the big wheeled bags kids usually use? or luggages too. mmm i don't think this really supports the body much but hey im no crewmate biologist, im just a man (who's trying to go home... even after all the years away from what i've known../lyr)

maybe their version of aac is like what we see as quick chat in game! nobody likes quick chat. but if you're mute/non-verbal/semi-verbal, that's what you gotta use sometimes.

among us glasses are so funny cause wdym yall still use stuff made for two-eyed folk? anyways, because they don't have ears, they have a ring/band that goes around their head (maybe adjustable?) and over their backpacks.

another disability i thought of was having no hands spawning out of you. that's what i did with my version of gaty from bfdi as a crewmate. idk what exactly they could have as prosthetics, though. like what, are they gonna attach long tubey things on your sides/in your backpack? again, I'm no crewmate biologist.

the babies are born unable to walk for the first week, as well as having an instinctual desire to be in dark cramped spaces, stemming from their plant origins and seeds germinating under ground. so during this time, they are often stored in the parents backpack until their legs fully develop- after that point, they can start walking and running

I might add some more headcanons later, but this is just my interpretation of the physical appearance of amongi biology. They're loosely based on bean plants, but I added an extra organ system because otherwise the shoot system had too much going on.

The stomach is supposed to be a compound stomach, which is why Yellow called it their "stomachs", but it looks too small for my liking. I've ended up deciding that it's a net of roots, and for the first part of the beans evolution, the roots would catch worms and other burrowers.
