@extraterrestrial-soul
Sigh. I want to go home.
Grant me patience and contentment, my Lord.
Living alone is quite a trial. But I gotta stay strong.
"I deserve.."
No. You don’t deserve any comfort while there are still human beings living with no comfort in this world.
Deserving has got nothing to do with your state of ease. It is a blessing; a gift with stipulations. It has a purpose.
"But I worked so hard to get here.."
So you now...
Every choice, big or small, contributes to either the construction or the corrosion of an individual's rational disposition.
The open enemy is well aware of our psychological vulnerabilities that are caused by our own actions.
Prevent him from exploiting them, and moreover, prevent those vulnerabilities from materialising in the first place by proactive measures.
Whenever I have acted uprightly, I've primarily obliged myself rather than anybody else.
I slept for the larger part of the day, and I feel a bit miserable about it. But I feel consoled because before my eyes opened, my dream ended with an ayat of the Quran. The last bit of the dream involved me hanging out with my friends from high school, and they were looking for a place to buy some liquor. When they finally procured some, and were really excited about it, I started hearing (or saying to myself/them) the verse, and woke up immediately after. The verse number is 30:30. It was so appropriate for the situation. Alhamdulillah!
I owe all the goodness I have encountered in my life so far to Him. I am in need of goodness from Him in all my future affairs. Yet, at times, I have turned away from Him.
Astaghfirullah rabbi wa aatoobo ileh.
Leading myself into delusions is no fun at all. Whereas, striving to enable myself to see absolute realities (of things/situations) is the most pleasant of activities that I can indulge in!
Since the hereafter is the future realm of existence, belief in the possibility of an other-worldly life after death is not more questionable than confidently assuming that eventually some future-event (of this realm itself) would take place.
The suffering that I had endured (though it was nothing compared to the suffering of many others) would all be in vain if I don’t benefit myself from the lessons that I learned during that phase.
Speaking strictly in materialistic terms, each of us is a minuscule fraction of a speck of dust on the scale of the universe.
People who do not believe in God should thus consider themselves utterly nugatory and live in a humble manner. For those who believe in God, His proper remembrance shall keep them humble.
So either way, arrogance does not befit humans. It is a pitiable delusion of those who do not reflect.
Zulm on Rasool and Aal-e-Rasool
The prophet and his pure progeny had been oppressed by people throughout their lives.
By not following them to the best of my ability, I too am being unjust to them since I'm not appreciating the oppression they underwent and the efforts they undertook to provide me with proper guidance.
In particular, I am oppressing the Imam of my time if I'm not preparing for his arrival constantly.
Unless I ascend according to my capability, the climb is only gonna get steeper and steeper with the passage of time.
I must start ascending with all my strength right away.
Al-Kareem (The Generous One)
It is Allah who has brought me into existence and who provides me with everything I need (and much more) in my journey towards Him.
Yet He does not want anything from me... except that I benefit myself from His guidance (so that He may increase His favours upon me).
How wonderful is my Lord!
Loss of taqwa is loss of (actual/true) identity.
