"Hold on, how did you get my measurements anyway?" "I have a good eye for such things." He hooks a claw behind your lapel and runs his finger down its length. "Do you like it?" Your gaze follows his finger downward. He's careful not to touch anything besides your clothing but it still makes your cheeks feel warm. You're not keeping it together very well. "The suit?" you ask. He looks amused but kindly ignores the implications there's something else you might be enjoying as well. "Yes, the suit."

I took a lot of inspiration from @darthsuki's Ticket Taker freak out for his character in this one. God that was so funny. If you've never heard the clip you need to listen to it, I've even seen a few people animate it.

As a trans writer, it was important for me to make Wretched, Reckless Romance as inclusive as possible both to match the nature of The Freak Circus, and to address an issue I've encountered in reading fanfics.
Sometimes when reading a fic I would start to feel dysphoric because of the gendered language therein and I wanted to avoid that as much as possible for anyone who might share my struggles. That's why I write two versions for every chapter including an intimate encounter so you can choose which set of bits you're most comfortable with (or both, both is good, and hot).
Some additional precautions I took were not mentioning any secondary characteristics like chest shape and referring to MC with only gender neutral terminology, even in these personalized chapters. We all deserve to feel seen and represented by the media we consume. ❤️🖤💛🖤💚
