when I was younger, like around 13/14, I realized I didn’t feel fully like my agab

the term I found to describe what I felt was demigirl! I really liked that term, but when I started to use it, I was looked down upon and was told that I’m faking it or that it doesn’t exist

so I locked that part up and I hadn’t addressed it at all again for like another 8 years later, when I finally decided to go with the umbrella term “nonbinary”

I could’ve been so much happier and more confident in who I am today if I had been allowed to experiment with those marginal identities instead of being scorned and laughed at

i hate that i have to say this but people with ptsd don’t get to choose our triggers. like… they’re not convenient at all, they truly cause us distress, that’s why these things are even classified as symptoms of a mental disorder to begin with.

everyone loves talking abt how they respect and support traumatized ppl until someone with trauma has “weird” or “unusual” triggers. then y’all make fun of us, screenshot our shit and even trigger us on purpose.
