It was within seconds (minutes? Hours?) into the Ravens-Foxes match. The foxes were ready to fight on the court, but the Ravens didn't give them time.

Andrew broke Riko's hand. Blood for blood, a live for a live. They went after Andrew Aaron got to the fight so fast and Neil run to protect him just like Andrew run to protect him on the finals.

But they got Neil.

Jean told him next time he would not be so fast and weeks later there was Neil, curling in himself at the end of another raven's stick.

Neil was broken on the court and Andrew could do nothing to protect him. Imagine his desperation. All his rage and pain while hell got to the court and Andrew couldn't get in time to save Neil.

He was ready to kill someone right there, in front of everyone, in front of the public and the cameras and the referees and the ravens and his family because. They. Got. Neil.

the best part about kevins scenes in tgr is when he first shows up at catlailas house and finds out jeremys learning french and sends jean a 'look' but like. kevin day is possibly one of the least subtle motherfuckers to ever grace planet earth so when kevin Thinks he's sending a subtle glance that's actually a 60° turn of the head and a face like this

Neil and his obsession with Kevin while on the run transformed into him knowing the most random stuff about Kevin's life.

Someone: Kevin, if you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?

Neil, bored: Greece.

Kevin: Gree– wtf Neil.

It comes out in the most random ways. Neil starts doing it a lot more often because it makes Kevin uncomfortable and Kevin's reaction is always amusing. (Neil loves that the Foxes find it funny too and don't think he is a creep.)

Most of the Foxes also use Neil's unhinged knowledge to their advantage when they have to give Kevin a gift. It works every time and Neil finds it curious that Kevin has never complained about that part (he has let him know on various occasions).

Someone: Kev, if you had to chose, what ice-cream flavour would you be?

Neil: mint –which I totally disagree with btw, you are totally dark chocolate with caramel.

Kevin: can you stop?

I know damn well Andrew softens whenever Neil is around. He has that deadly blank aura on a regular basis, can threaten someone without a change of expression or even batting an eye. But when Neil is around, the tension leaves his shoulders, his eyes glare a little less, he moves with less sharp precision, almost gentle, the tiniest bit of softness overtaking every peice of him. Neil doesn't even have to do anything, simply being in the room is enough for that devilish edge to smooth over. He breaths easier, walks lighter, his whole world is a little calmer with just the presence of Neil Josten.

i think we as a fandom genuinely forget how kevin and andrew are literally like best friends. like andrew went with kevin to california. at the start of tfc everyone describes them as literally joined at the hip. if andreil ever got married KEVIN WOULD LITERALLY BE ANDREW'S BEST MAN. kevin will call andrew in the future when they're all graduated because he knows andrew will pick up. they had a single carry-on between them in tgr. they probably stayed in the same hotel room. they fight like an old married couple throughout the og trilogy constantly. kevin knows how to rile andrew up and to calm him down. nora can pry kandrew (romantic and platonic) from my cold dead fucking hands.
