hey gia! it's been a while since i posted anything but i'm doing pretty good!
omg iwtv is PEAK. it's def on my top five shows oat (tbf i don't watch a lot of shows) it's just so beautiful; the acting, the writing, the visuals are actually so gorgeous. i lowk js feel like it's so unique in its own way because it really is just unhinged and i rlly appreciate that. loustat is one of my top fictional couples ever because of just how unapologetically toxic and messy they are. they are THE couple that loves each other and makes it EVERYONE'S problem. like yes, they are in love 56789678397 dead 26394728 wounded. it's just so refreshing that the show just allows its characters to be evil and morally indefensible and doesn't try to justify them or make them seem better than they are. i also love the use of perspective and narration and the moment when u realise louis is an unreliable narrator always gives me chills. i've seen ppl on tiktok call armand the "villain" but i feel like that misses the point of the show. something something evil is a perspective something something. the fact is, all of the characters do terrible things and that's just who they are. they're messy and chaotic and complex and i love them for it. every single couple is doomed whichever way you spin it but the REAL tragedy of the whole show is my girl claudia. she was done wrong by EVERY SINGLE MF in the show and idc how horrendous she is because she has EVERY RIGHT TO BE. every single man was so so so evil to her and i LOVE the way she haunts the narrative it's actually delicious. i absolutely devoured the first two seasons the way it was written and paced was so satisfying and s1e5 is up there contending for the most painful watch of all time. i hope u loved it as much as i did!
