A single desire does not exist in isolation. It is connected to a vast web of other intentions — all of the desires, aversions, and beliefs that we hold. Each of these intentions helps to reinforce the others. Desiring something usually means having an aversion to anything that might prevent the desire from being satisfied and having a belief that the desired object is important and good.

Even when connected intentions do not yet exist, a strong enough desire will give rise to secondary intentions as we attempt to fulfill it. As a result, attachment to even one desire will cause further attachments to form. Trying to break free from attachment to a particular desire cannot usually be accomplished without also freeing ourselves from an array of other attachments.

Lets talk about propaganda in 2026.

Most people don’t recognize propaganda as influence. They experience it as inspiration. Someone can see something good or bad and not only confirm their current feeling but also connect with another human being.

When I studied graphic design, it didn’t start with logos. It didn’t start with creativity.

It started in the 1930s. A time when design was used to shape the collective mind. This wasn’t about making things look good. It was about making things feel true.

Color was used to trigger emotion.

Words were chosen to shape identity.

And repetition. . . Repetition made things real.

Not because it was true, but because it was familiar, and over time, those messages don’t just pass by you.

They settle. Quietly in your psyche. Like programs being installed in the background. No permission asked. No awareness required.

What looked like posters were never just posters. They were perception. Designed.

Everything you interact with carries something. Sound moves. Words carry weight. Images influence behavior.

Nothing is neutral. So when you’re scrolling, taking things in without thinking, understand this:

You’re not just watching. You’re being tuned. And the real question is: Who is setting your frequency?
