someone reblogged this and I was thinking about it again and…. what a fucking terrible list this is

Bane - a great villain but he’s not cosmic, he’s just a strong guy, not even the strongest guy, he could barely take over Gotham

Thalia al Ghul - look I love her but this is a list of the most dangerous people in the DC universe, no humans should be on this list, she’s an amazing hand to hand fighter and incredibly smart but she’s just a human

Darkseid - should be much higher on this list

Dragon God Namma - this is nobody and was defeated in 4 issues

Upside-Down Man: I’m constantly being told how cool and badass he is but when I ask “what has he done?” I’m told to shut up and that “he’s so cool we don’t even know yet” and also “we forgot about him for a little bit”

Rogol Zaar - ok this guy is strong and destroyed Krypton but also that’s stupid and everyone hates him and Bendis was the only one that liked him but even he lost interest in him now that he has Superboy

Controller Mu - fuck off that’s no one, Controllers where big bads but in Rebirth they suck and their own power suits turn against them

Legion of DOOM - sure fine, they should be much lower on the list though

Crisis Killer (aka Wally West) - does this even count as a villain? Wally just got so sad he exploded and killed a bunch of Z list heroes that only existed in Rebirth to be killed at Sanctuary

The Batman Who Laughs - the only danger he represents to the DC universe is the falling sales due to reader fatigue from him being constantly shoved into every storyline he can, but I thank god everyday he gave us Joker heart gas

I know this was just some dumb advertisement thing but when DC puts out an official “these are the 10 most dangerous things in the DC Universe” it caries a lot of weight, 3 of these where just flavor of the week villains that got defeated right away, and like I said absolutely no humans should be on this list (except maybe Reverse Flash), even if we’re just talking about Rebirth what about Parallax? Nekron? Perpetua? Anti-Monitor? Doomsday? General Zod? Eclipso? even Mongul should beat out half these people
