The title pretty much says it all! (If you're seeing this while on one of the sites named in the picture, then you're golden! For other places, you might be in for a spot of bad news.) If you're reading this from DeviantART, Tumblr, etc, then I have an announcement. I'm going on hiatus from posting art to dA, Tumblr, Furry Network - you get the idea! The reason for this is because I'm having a hard time getting any sort of client base from these websites, and since I do art full time (and it's my only source of income atm) I need to focus my energies on the sites where I usually get my clients! (Twitter doesn't count because it's mostly for social stuff with some art on the side, and I already have quite a few clients who contact me through Discord which I LOVE! It's so much more personal, and they get feedback lightning quick since I'm on Discord whenever I'm at my computer!) To put it in perspective, I'll compare my two main art sites. FurAffinity and DeviantArt. My FA has amassed more followers in less than half the time that my DA has, which I think speaks for itself! I enjoy both sites, sure, and I'll be on them as I usually am to check for messages and to favorite and comment on artwork from people that I love, but I will not be posting artwork on my DA (and other hiatus-sites I posted above) for an unknown amount of time. I'm pretty much coming to the conclusion that I need to focus my energies into keeping my successful sites active instead of trying to breathe life into the sites I use that don't get much activity! For those of you who'd like to know a little more "insider" information from me, I get the vast, VAST majority of business from FurAffinity (Even after it was hacked and everyone "tried" to migrate. Yeeeaaaahhh..). That, coupled with how much fun I get from Twitter + Discord and how connected I am to the clients who keep in contact with me through Discord, I've realized that the other sites I'm on kind of just... Fell out of interest with me? Again, I want to stress that this is just a hiatus from POSTING art to these sites! Though I will still be using them as a way to follow others!
