I have no idea what’s going on
Congrats, we have reached a period of time where there is a generation that does not remember the first memes.
Look, i’ve been on tumblr for nine fucking years and I don’t get this meme. I remember seeing it at some point, but have no clue what it means.
because this meme is pre tumblr and pre-youtube and is about 17 years old, almost twice as long as you’ve been on tumblr the ancient depths of albinoblacksheep will never die
Adulthood.
me during reasonable hours of the day: i never want to do anything in my life Ever
me at 3 am: I Have To Learn How To Play The Piano Immediately
Summer body wishlist: - six wings - a million eyes - constantly on fire - ability to scream forever
are you trying to be normal so people won’t know you’re traumatized and angry or are you trying to be larger-than-life so people won’t know you’re vulnerable and needy
A Word on Aubrey Little
As a bisexual woman I really love the fact that Aubrey Little is bi.
But just as important (if, frankly, not more important) to me is the fact that she has ADD. When Travis first mentioned this I had to pause the podcast because I was so excited. I couldn’t stop smiling for like an hour.
As a person with ADHD, I can think of next to no characters who canonically have ADHD.
Aubrey not only has ADD (aka ADHD-PI) but is an adult with ADD. I cannot think of a single adult character who canonically has ADD/ADHD other than Aubrey.
Aubrey is not only an adult who canonically has ADD, but she’s a woman. Women and girls are chronically under-diagnosed when it comes to ADHD/ADD, so having a female character with it is super important!
And lastly, Aubrey was created and portrayed by a man who has ADD himself and is basing her off his own experiences—experiences which I share, because it’s an incredibly realistic portrayal. She isn’t mocked for not being neurotypical, either—she’s a sweet, funny, badass character who has friends and romance and adventures.
Basically, as a (bi) woman with ADHD-PI, I wanna thank Travis McElroy for Aubrey Little.
the mcelroys havent announced the name of this year yet… how am i supposed to know what the vibe is…. i’m vibeless
sick of “scottish independence” this and “irish reunification” that
theres 3 of us and 1 of england
i say we just kick the english out the uk
Ireland, Scotland, and Wales kick England out and join the UK as the United Celtic Nations.
As an English person I would like to a) support this plan and b) formally request asylum
my gender is picking “woman” on a form but feeling kinda weird about it
