Friday, January 10th, Wolf Moon Eclipse, And So Shall Hati Devour Our Souls
Has it been a hard month for you? You arenât alone. In the midst of some intense crying out, a friend messaged me and she told me âLet the Wolf inâ. And in that moment I found such comfort and solace in those words. It was if my problems could be simplified to something more pure and primal yet something that also gave me the allowance to trust my instincts and beastly side and the ability to devour my problems. We become so afraid of our instincts when shackled by human expectations. Yet when the beast comes out there is nothing to hold back in our actions, we simply are and move with the force of the wild.
This Wolf Moon is all about connecting with your inner beast, the rage and fury at all, and that hungering longing for tribe, pack, and community and the sense and need to protect your own from the dangers of this world. Many of my predictions about this time which were far from light suggested this Moon and the conjunctions following it on Sunday, January 12th, would usher in the era of Ragnarok. And before we get into all that I mean by Ragnarok, the first and foremost thing that is important is to know that Ragnarok has two meanings. The Godâs Destruction is one such meaning, but also the Twilight of the Gods. And to those who follow the path that I am on which is known as Rokkatru, true to the Gods of the twilight, this is the awakening of those forces of nature that have been hidden and kept out of view for a long time. Our human society sought to be so ordered, but only produced disorder. It sought to become clean of all filth, yet is completely unclean and disgusting. We tried to turn away from nature and shut her out and so we forgot the cries of the wild, the running of wolves, the hissing of serpents, the movement of beetles, the changing colors of the sky, the rustling of the wind, the movement of rivers, the ever moving currents of nature all around us and she is wild, dynamic, and ever changing. Constantly going through processes of death and rebirth as are we. And we have become sick in this human filth. We feast on poison and we have lost our natural intuition. We have lost our guiding force, the Earth itself in all her many manifestations. We stopped honoring her as the most beloved, and you should be grateful because she is incredibly merciful, but she cannot take our filth and destruction anymore. She needs us to change and rebirth, and she is about to eradicate the poisons from our Earth that are polluting her, the people in power that are destroying her, the people in power who are lying to the masses and orchestrating war and terror around the world. And it is all of our nations, in one giant conspiracy, all bowing to the head of the all mighty dollar bill. And for what? Australia has been on Fire, over a billion animals have died. Our water and air is polluted. More and more people enter poverty every day and most of us are only a check or two away from being homeless. We are constantly barely scratching the threshold of survival. And none of it seems fair because they spend trillions of dollars on Wars while we are completely lied to about them. And none of this makes sense and none of it makes us feel good, but how can we avoid the truth of reality anymore?
And so this twilight of the Gods is bringing destruction to a very different type of God then we are taught about in myth. It is my strong belief that Odin represents the line of Kings as it was often in Norse society the aristocrats, the Kings, the political leaders, the clergy who worshipped Odin. The commoner had different Gods and Goddesses depending on where their focus lie. Odin was a very new introduction in Norse mythology that did not arrive until the 1st century. Before then who exactly was the All-Father creator of the world, or was there ever one? What ascribed all this focus and influence into an omnipotent, omniscient force, an all-seeing eye that has command and authority over everyone? Yet what the Norse myths establish that the World Religions fail to, is that this Odin is not truly all powerful for there is a prophecy that his world will end and the forces of the twilight will awaken to destroy him and his influence and reign. These Gods are the Demagogues, Dictators, Authoritarian Leaders, yet they are also Industry, Capitalism, Corporations, Products, Consumption, Drugs, Fame, Money, Greed, Plastic, Oil, Rape, Sex, Guns, War, Celebrities, and even torture. As Marilyn Manson once said, âDo you love your Guns? YEAH! Your God? YEAH! Your Government? FUCK YEAH!â
Itâs the Roman Empire all over again. And there is this faction that keeps pretending they can keep on playing the same old games as if they can completely divorce their vision and implement it aside from everyone elseâs living reality and needs and never suffer any consequences, oh and manipulate our sexual and creative instincts endlessly to serve their ends like fucking psychic vampires. They impose it on us and we take from the hand that feeds us because it feels like we have no choice. Fascism is a major theme of this year and the powers of our world governments are about to amp up their shenanigans big time. Weâre about to see some very uncomfortable truths including truths about each other. There is a lot we keep hidden in projecting our images, yet what is essential lying underneath it all? We are creatures with needs and wants and emotions and pain and feelings and sicknesses. And there is so much our brothers and sisters hide from us that we never bother to ask about and so much we hide from others about ourselves. And there are so many ways we donât see the real people we are inside and in each other. And this is a time of survival with those who can help you survive, those you can trust. There is a strong sense of economic collapse on the horizon and that a War for power is breaking out as we are also feeling the possibility of another War breaking out in the world and in this all the sides are lining up in order to benefit from this politically, but is it in the best interest of all or just more self-serving behavior meant to screw us? Iâm pretty sure we all know the answer.
Love one another. We have fallen so far, we have forgotten it, what it means. When people are so gripped by fear and ideologies it is impossible to see the human in one another anymore. So gripped by our beliefs about the way people should be or behave, we forget how to dialogue and make real connections and solutions. We forget how to actually help people. Yet we have to stand up for Injustice and for ourselves so it is important to ask where we can communicate and also compromise where it might be useful, but to also know where we need to put our foot down and demand no more.
This Moon is gonna draw you inward. It might have a naturally isolating effect that you cannot predict and more than likely the global political world will be a completely different place when we wake up on Monday or even during this weekend. Do not underestimate the grip of Fascism upon the world, but know we can only overcome it if we unite in some way, not through civil war. That is important. This Moon is heavy. You are going to reap what you have sewn good and bad. The ways we have been callous to our fellow humans may really rear their ugly head if we do not heed the lessons. Yet we also pay for the ways we have turned a blind eye and have avoided telling the Truth or doing the right thing, which is not often easy. You will be processing details about your whole life and everything you know about the world and its dysfunctions during this moon, and youâre going to undergo a personal death that will have the ability to bring great healing. Itâs a death to the Ego and thatâs not always fun, but when you release what stands in your way, what will you instead become?
So what do I mean by Ragnarok? Well I think weâre in a War of the World and itâs going to take your full participation and engagement and that the external pressures will force themselves in on us in ways that are going to challenge everything about what it means to be human and what we stand for. In fact weâve been carrying out religious wars for millenia. What the fuck is that about? How fucking stupid is that? And thatâs one of the ways we need to transform as well. Why the heck are we allowing political ideologies and religions to kill each other and take so much human casualty in their warring? And just how much have we destroyed our Earth? We might not even have a clue. Weâre told all the time itâs far worse than we could imagine, and that reality is about to rear its ugly head as well and force us to face it whether we like it or not, no matter our beliefs. Why is it that the Left perpetually destroys itself and never creates the unity it seeks? We have to remember what we are fighting for which is to bring people of all walks of life together to create a better world. And unfortunately with the grips of Racism, Fascism, Nazism, it makes it really fucking hard to do that. So the instinct is to inflict poison, sarcasm, disrespect, and hatred. Yet how is anyone going to listen to us if we keep doing that? Why canât people understand these messages? Because they are imposed upon them with force and violence in intent. They are posed as morally judging, yet they are morally judging. It canât really be avoided, yet how can we soften and create dialogue and connection? That is a continuous theme for 2020 and I am not asking that you compromise in any way that keeps you a victim because that is the exact opposite of what you want to do, but to find the ways to reach others in the heart, in the ways that actually matter and allow solutions instead of division. You need to stand up for what you believe in, but there is no point if you are just standing on a soap box or are an echoing chamber for some point of view. In fact, we all have something to teach each other.
So we have felt this collapse for a long long time. We felt civilization and humanity would reach a breaking point and that point is now. Yet, there is something psychedelic about Ragnarok. For just as War and the political powers are moving in the world for global dominance, so is the awakening of this shadow power that you should draw into yourself from this moon. This shadow is everything, it is your deep inward power to transform reality, and it is what has been kept locked away in you. It is the great wolf Fenris on the border of reality kept chained in the cold and ready to break free and unleash it all in the risk of self-destruction if thatâs what it takes if only to break free of this prison at last. It is the great Wolf set free to devour all that has kept it shackled and hidden from the shores of human reality. Itâs the awakening of all your fears and your need to confront them, and itâs the act of remembering your dark side and getting into the grimy shadows of your existence and all that lurks there. If you are a Witch itâs time to embrace the dark side and learn a thing or two about baneful magic. So many people think the way of the world is to be continuously wronged and then just repeatedly forgive people until they stop preying on your innocence. Yeah, okay, never worked for me. You got to fight fire with fire. You got to fight evil and if you really want it, you need to seek out those guides who will help you that are lurking in the dark, that take care of the destructive processes of nature, because a lot needs to be hacked away and destroyed in our lives and we have to learn to accept darkness. We have to trust that our power becomes stronger when we have confidence in the dark even when we do not see the way out of it. We must continue every day seeking the roots of our reality and its possibility for deep transformation. These forces of the world will clash and many of them will destroy one another, and people are going to die too, but the more it can be focused on the people who deserve it and away from the masses, away from needless wars the better.
Look, our planet is sick. We must eradicate the sickness. The time is now. What are you waiting for? Stop feeding yourself poison and stop taking actions that destroy your soul. Stop biting the hand that feeds you and take your power back where you have a say. Start asking yourself, how can I help more, how can I be there more for my brother and sister? How can I be there for the Earth? And how can I improve this world best? And what say do I have in the affairs that be? Yet most importantly, let the Wolf in, listen to your instincts, and go. Stop compromising the nature that lives inside yourself. It is real, and you are a beast. And you are a wild cry in the forest shrieking for her babies. Yet there is this burst of excitement when we listen to our wildness and let it overtake us. When we let it possess us and take us places. Embrace that wildness, scale new mountains, rise to new heights, experience and weep at the majesty of this life, be filled with its wonder and adventure for it is calling out to you and it wants you to throw off the shackles that have kept you in chains, even your very thoughts and beliefs, all that has kept you from running freely inside yourself, on your instinct, on your purest gut feelings. Thereâs no time for bullshit, itâs time for the raw and the real.
