Also hier mein Vorschlag für eine Fix-It-Scene von Der Isomorph.

I've been writing a sequel to an episode of Voyager for a few weeks now. I'm actually done and then this exact sequel with the same people in question is released by another talented fan.

It's really a coincidence and there was no exchange about it beforehand. If I publish my fanfic now too, it will look like a copy. 😭

After B'Elanna and Tom's wedding, Harry must make a difficult decision.

I know everyone praises Geordi La Forge and Miles O'Brien up and down as current Legends of Engineering but I'm going to push B'Elanna Torres up that pedestal too.

If Chief O'Brien is praised jury rigging Starfleet tech-Bajoran tech and Cardassian tech together. B'Elanna gets double of that she had to jury rig on the fly: Starfleet Tech, Borg Tech, and some Weird Alien Tech they come across to keep Voyager afloat.

On top of Voyager being the top-of-the-line new tech she hadn't heard of yet when she was in the Maquis.

She had to learn it all on the fly and become head of the Engineering department just like that. And keep Voyager trucking along the Delta Quadrant in great working condition.

And we know how it would look like if Voyager didn't have B'Elanna around: You'd get the Equinox.

Everything's falling apart, they barely have any lights or amenities. Granted Equinox wasn't built for deep space exploration still the difference is literally night and day.

And yeah, B'Elanna had help with Seven of Nine but that also shows how great she is that even though Seven's intrusions annoy her, she still learns and listens. She learned how to work with a team and became damned good at it.

This is also a credit to Captain Janeway who still insisted on running Voyager as a tight ship, if she hadn't... again, Equinox is the example.

So, yeah, Best Engineer for me is B'Elanna Torres.

Not normally a big PT shipper, but a friend recommended this story and I really enjoyed this short beautiful glimpse into unrequited feelings and taking comfort in another. Unfortunately someone decided to attack the author and the audience. 🤬

Crazy troll decided to anonymously take umbridge with every PT shipper in existence and vomit hate all over this authors comment section. I’ve seen some caustic comments before, but this takes the cake. Especially considering the horrible nature of the insults. What is wrong with people? Not shocking that something this hateful was posted anonymously. Be kind people. Be kind.

Not sure who this troll is but this author does not need this kind of abuse in their life (also to be clear, these comments do not reflect the content of the story - which is a bittersweet post Blood Fever fic and well worth the read). In german they only write and read JC fics. But there are so much more paarings you can be creative with.

So, this is the reason sometimes I want to give up and keep going at the same time, when I write TP, B7, TPK, Saffi….

One year ago I looked at my life and that’s not where I expected to be. I was very sad. Then idk why but I‘ve rewatched Voyager and I‘m feeling better now. I‘m now a part of the community of fic writers on ao3 and sometimes someone translates my fics in english and read them.
