First, otome games and Harvest Moon now I’m working on a post about Until Dawn (waaay behind the curve but I love that game) this is slowly just becoming a vidya game blog. ;;;

That being said, if you enjoy Until Dawn and are looking for a creepy read I recommend The Wendigo by Algernon Blackwood, probably one of the best horror stories I’ve read this year, despite also being one of the longer ones. A classic, but a classic worthy of the title. And it’s very interesting how beat for beat UD captures the original lore of the Wendigo. There are actually two audio book versions on youtube by HorrorBabble  and Chilling Tales for Dark Nights two audio book channels well worth checking out (I mean, they’re better than Librivox narrators at least).

I would recommend Harvest Moon though! Or Story of Seasons (same thing different name) you can get married and have children and it’s really cute ❤️

Yeah, I looked into it. I stupidly just equated it to a simple farm sim and you acquire a spouse the same way you acquire cattle, thinking no real plot played a part in the matter. -_-  And I was wrong, big time. I kinda got so invested that I bought A New Beginning and although it is SO SLOW in what you can do, it is pretty addicting, even the farming, but I’m honestly holding out for the courting process. Thanks Anon for making me think more about it! (´∀｀)♡
