Hey! 

So I know I said at the beginning of the summer that I would be back on tumblr and post new drawings, and well it didn't actually happened, I haven't touched my scanner or my tablet for months, I just enjoy working with traditional mediums more lately...

I'm still drawing a lot in my free time and I post everything on instagram which name has changed, you can now find me here: http://instagram.com/poppikay as @poppikay.

Maybe one of these day, I will scan all of those new drawings and post them here but I don't like having to watermark them in order to protect them, maybe I should simply post photos like I do on Instagram? What do you guys think?

Hey love your work - which software and graphic tablet do you use ? Would you recommend it for beginners ?

Hi thank you very much! I mainly use Paint Tool Sai and I have a Bamboo Wacom. I got my first tablet when I was 14 and it's still the one I use now, I knew nothing about tablets when I got it, but this one is quite simple, and I think it's great for beginners :). As for softwares, I started off with Gimp 2, but now I prefer Paint tool Sai, maybe because I've learnt to use it better than Gimp 2. 

(Other piece of advice: there are many tutorials on the Internet (on Deviantart for example) for beginners on how to use softwares like Paint tool Sai, I think it's easier to learn the basics and then you can play around with the settings and see what you like best and find your own style)

Back for the summer!

Hello everyone, I'm back!

Sorry for being a ghost for the past few months, I had a lot of work to do for my school, and today was the last day, the exam day of course, so I still have a few worried days ahead of me until the results come out.

I just realised my drawing of Hazel and Augustus has almost reached 1,800 notes!! Thank you sooooo much!
