Look at this horrible creature.
A very old commission I did for my cousin. It's pretty old and not great, but I still like some of the people in the pile of bodies. Also, try to find Waldo.
Okay, so I've saved this for last because it's the best looking one. Friend and colleague Meg Casey did a bang-up job coloring this image, just for kicks! Visit her blog, why not: dinosaurmeat.tumblr.com
This one has a lot less process work and I sketched mostly in ink and cleaned up later. Ah, the thrill of rushed art. I was actually really pleased with how the goth girl turned out, particularly before filling in her spot blacks. She had a very Mike Wieringo art vibe to her that I kinda dug.
More process work for my favorite of the series, the mini-Luchador! Pleased with how the cactus turned out, that was kind of experimental. Looking back on it I think it actually distracts from a unified style of the piece but live and learn I s'pose.
Here's the solo file of the Luchador man.
Hey, who likes process work!? Some stuff for a Luchador commission I've been working on. More to come later today.
Little color test I did today to see if a flatter color style would work with the character. I'm gonna be trying to finish up a comic with this fine adventuring chap over the next few weeks, so get used to that leathery face as I post progress and process work.
Comic page for a class. Not totally happy with it, but it has some fun cartoony expressions.
