Happy 20th anniversary to my favorite PKMN character ever 💙✨. Wanted to draw her with my favorite of the Kanto starters!

I loved Leaf since the day she debuted and I cannot believe it’s been 20 years. The years after her debut were pretty rough prior to her inclusion in Smash (no anime appearance, no appearance in HGSS or SM, barely any merch…🥲) but I say she’s in a much better spot now, even if she’s still not quite given the same respect that Red and Green get. I’m still hoping for a Leaf nendoroid 🤞.

sorry ive just been posting about my au without really giving context abt it 😭

it's really just a summer camp au where everyone works as cti/counsellors at professor oak's summer camp. that's basically it, just with plot and stuff like

Red and Ethan are best friends, Red also has a crush on Leaf (she knows he does and she finds it cute to mess with him abt it)

Ethan is best friends with like everyone and their mother

Leaf, Lyra, and May are best friends (for some reason???)

Blue and Red are still very much rivals and they cause a scene every morning in the kitchen as they try to clean up plates (in which they end up breaking)

PREPARE FOR IMPACT!

I've cooked up a "comic" over the weekend! A comic in the style of a lost Pokemon CGI film!

Read from top to bottom, left to right!

I always wanted to do a comic in this style. And, this is special because this actually has a bit of a story behind it!

I'll keep it brief. When I was going to post this on Twitter, I was going to pass it off as a piece of lost media that was uncovered, make a thread of the comic and have a sort of "just kidding!" post at the end. Nothing too serious.

I got halfway done with these renders when I hit up my bud @maidensflowergarden (who does VHS transfers) and that's when we started talking about more ways to take people for a ride. The result was posting the images on her account, making a fake cover for a VHS case, and having the thread end in a bait-and-switch video.

So basically, people thought a long lost 3D Pokemon film was uncovered, when in actuality, it was just my silly little renders! Oh, how evil of me!

HAPPY EEVEE DAY!! 🤎 This scenario is how almost all the characters with eeveelutions in the pokeverse got their eevees (gifted by Leaf or someone in her family 😭)

Started drawing this 30 minutes before Eevee day technically ended, but it's still going on in masters, so I still win! Wanted to draw Leaf, since she's the Eevee representative of the pokeverse :D
